I finally got to play my Genestealer cult against my brother's Enforcers and I am glad his enforcer bolt guns didn't hit as hard as they did in this battle report. Loved this battle and really well done! It is nice to see the Enforcers do better in a report.
Thanks! I think we’ve got the feel for them. Bolt guns and when we take grenade subjugators add a krak. It didn’t hit this game but can be very deadly. Thanks for watching!
Crucially enforcer boltguns are damage 2, damage two weapons are god tier in Necromunda, they also pass ammo checks on a 4+ vs everybody else who need a 6+ on their boltgun ammo check. Enforcers are extremely versatile and not to be underestimated. You could try the grenade launcher with underslung ram in the next campaign it's fun. :-) Keep up the great games, thanks.
Your content is always good, keep up the good work! Seriously, I envy you your collection of terrain; I just bought the recent zone mortalis sector set and one set of gw tiles and I am slooowly building these and I am wondering - did you painted the terreain using brush or airbrush as well? Thanks
Thanks for this guys. I played Necromunda in the first edition (yeah, I'm old) and I have been trying to get into this edition. This was really helpful, and it looks like fun.
Glad it helped. That's what it is all about! While I'm old enough to have played the original version, I just didn't mess with the hobby at the time. :)
8:08 If that fall had been just a fraction of an inch higher that Enforcer would've failed his armor save. Lucky, lucky guy. Random crews makes me appreciate the Cawdor ability to take so many extra fighters so much. An extra ganger and d3 juves without spending tactics cards is nothing to sneeze at. Then add even more through tactics and articles of faith and you'll easily field your entire gang to any scenario!
As a Cawdor player myself I have to say... you really need the extra bodies. The Cawdor statline is somewhat wanting. Throwing in a few Redemptionists really helps out for access to shotguns, chainaxes with single shot flamethrowers and grenade launchers.
Love your videos, hope we get another season of this. If you guys do another season, have you thought of what other gang to add in? Or perhaps which type of campaign system to do?
Thanks! My channel wouldn’t be what it is without Necromunda and I love playing it. Season 4 will feature Cawdor, Ogryn and Genestealers. We will have to make it more open of a campaign however to potentially feature Ash Wastes content, etc. It’s all still being determined. 😀
Very nice work, your battle reports are much more enjoyable than many other creators in my opinion. I do have a few questions that I was hoping to figure out about the Enforcers. Does the enemy get to do retaliate attack after getting manacled since it uses a Fight (Basic) action? Also I noticed the enforcer got to do a consolidate move after shooting and taking a fighter out of action, is this a scenario related rule or a house rule, since the consolidate move is tied to the fight action?
Thanks! On the magnacles, I'm not totally sure. What I read says to replace Fight (Basic) with Attack (Basic). It's up to interpretation. On the consolidate move, I was just totally not thinking straight! :D Just a solid whiff of the rules on my part. He was so close my brain was thinking combat.
The arbitrators/enforcers in old Necromunda had some funky rules because they didn't participate in the underhive economy or claim territory. They could still push people off a piece of territory, but their pay came from the hierarchy. Each arbitrator precinct would simply get ten fighters with their standard kit. They weren't out digging through ruins or watching water farms themselves. If someone died or retired, a new recruit would simply be posted. They never earned or spent credits, they never went to a settlement to get gear or recruit. They got free room and board in the precinct-house. One enforcer at a time could get free medical treatment, including possible bionic gear. Arbitrators had pretty good gear too. Everyone in carapace with built-in respirators, photo visors and infra goggles. Wearing carapace meant they were weighed down with an Initiative penalty but also gave the whole crew a 4+ save. Special arbitrator shotguns with their gnarly executioner rounds and boltguns across the board or powermauls with suppression shields. Everyone packed a boltpistol. One special unit was a cyber-mastiff, a bionic attack dog paired with a handler trooper. The cyber-mastiff was technically a piece of gear owned by the handler. All their gear was better maintained, they ignored the first ammo roll of each model. All of them had Specialist and Nerves of Steel, the sergeant/gang leader had Iron Will. They're not beasts underneath all that gear, they were still baseline humans with all the BS/WS 3 etc who would have to level up the hard way. They had a special limit as well, only half the precinct showed up for each fight. Dudes could participate in two patrols before sitting one out at the precinct. Only if the opposing gang was heavily overpowering the patrol, as in double their value (patrols count as 1000 value plus their xp) would the entire precinct muster to face them.
Hey guys. Thanks for the amazing content! Especially the last game, I was on the edge of my seat rooting for the eshers. Do you happen to have a document with all the campaign rules that you use? It seems like you modified the dominion campaign to fit the CGC and the enforcers properly. I am currently planning my own dominion campaign and struggle to fit those two in. Playing them as cawdor or not gainign territories at all seems a bit lacking, to be honest. Thanks a gain for everything and I am very much looking forward to season 4, 5,6 and all that come after :D
Thanks for watching. We really didn’t do anything different with them. At least I don’t think we did. I think there could have been an update allowing Enforcers to gain territories. We played so many games and did all the bookkeeping so we may have overlooked things here and there. Sorry that doesn’t help much 😂
@@MiniatureGameMontage Nah, no worries. I was just thinking when you said "the enforcers police this territory now" it was something to do with a house rule. Cheers for the reply :)
