Ah, blaze the single most unfun mechanic in the whole of Necromunda. As if the other affects of the fungal condition weren't detrimental enough. A better way would be to take a flesh wound every turn you end you activation in an affected tile. Still props for trying some of the less used scenarios. Amazed to see stub cannons do work! Thanks for the game.
Great batrep. One suggestion to make them better would be to show each model when going over who is who in your gang. They look great so show them off!

If he did a brief 360 turn around with the name/main weapon it would help orient the video more.
The low model count and high lethality from both gangs seemed to make this one go quick!

Goliaths are probably also amongst the hardest matchups for the Slave Ogryns (only the Corpse Grinders being harder). The Goliath simply excel at that short range, where they can really punish the Ogryns while the Ogryns attempt to close in, and once the Ogryns close in the Goliaths hit back as hard as the Ogryns. This went about as expected really! Nice match!
Glad to hear that because we've had runaway success with the Ogryn. They never felt in control of this one.
In my experience, once Ogryn gangs get ahead they can be almost impossible to stop. There are few gangs that can go toe to toe with them, but the Goliaths are one of them.

Excellent battle report. Very interesting scenario, the Goliath got very lucky with how it spread I feel. Everthing I read and hear about Ogryns as a gang points to them struggling against most gangs unfortunately. Which is a shame as in other gangs as a brute, they are a scary force!
I need to get another box for brutes and expansion. I wouldn’t mind having some rogue Ogryn running around 🙂

Dominant game from Goliath. Looks like they might just run away with this season. That fungal horror really had the potential to decide the game, but luckily for Goliath it never spread in a place that particularly hurt them.
They are off to a really good start!

I’m ashamed to admit, I unknowingly joined a group of Necromunda power gamers, so I’ve resorted to corpse grinders with sever weapons. Word of advice to all, make sure the people who you play with are good people

Man I gotta get myself those Goliath cards if it means ignoring getting Ip Man'd by an Ogryn, or what happened to my very expensive, very kill-y Forge Tyrant last time I played them, one shot by a Genestealer mining laser.
Pretty interesting scenario. Genestealers could be very tricksy here because they all come with hazard suits as standard; the fungus would only limit their actions unless you got respirators. Especially against a gang that wants to get close, even if the fungus moves on you, the enemy gets Blaze and you can just watch as they flail around effectively permanently on fire.
I realllllly need to get my Genestealers painted! I've had the box forever!

Yes you can. But they only have access to generic scum drivers.
