Have a close look at the 'Beatstick' model I think you'll find it's a 'she', not a 'he'. This is the best Necromunda content on YT by a long shot - keep them coming! Would love to see some Van Saar, and brutes/pets in the future.
Super fun! Glad to see more Necromunda battles. Rule quibble that I noticed, I think that when the Goliath recovered from the web shot turn 1, the flesh wound result should have lowered his T by 1. I might have gotten confused about who was who, though. Or maybe recovering from webbed has an exception, but I don’t recall that. Love the reports and the story, though. Looking forward to more! Delaque and Goliaths are the two gangs I’ve run in campaigns, so this episode definitely makes me homesick for playing some games. Or whatever sick is the appropriate feeling. Gameclubsick?
Well I’m happy we could provide some entertainment in the downtime. I’ll double check the lowered T. Never used web before so it was new to us. Thanks for watching!
As a Goliath player with crazy bad luck rolling dice I can relate to the Goliath player here. Hang in there, last time I took a beating like this I came back the next battle of the campaign and wiped the floor with the opposing gang. I hope your goliath boys have a similar experience!
Hello, its me again :D I saw your painting tutorial video - so black, red brown, metal But from what I can tell that is not the whole recipe is it? Looking at the pipe at 19:03 or 13:25 (the top most bridge) it seems you would use atleast a highlight color there. And I really like the look, it seems so dusty. How did you achieve this?
Eyyy, exited for the new season and gangs! That aside, I personally am not a fan of the dice tray, as it takes you out of the scenery every time you have to roll. It's such a different environment that it kindof breaks the immersion for me. It seems you realised that yourself aswell, since you switched back to rolling on the board pretty quickly. Other than that, great game! I loved the Delaque tricking the Goliath into jumping off the ledge! Also, 14:23 Goliath got booty 15:36 no bouncing grenade? Or is that not applicable in that situation?
Yeah totally we’re thinking the same. As I was filming the dice tray I wanted to put it in a corner of a still frame but I couldn’t make it work. The tray, for some reason, has a weird focusing effect on the camera. It didn’t work for me so that makes me think it won’t work for you. This bouncing grenade...tell me more. What did I miss? Lol

Very Brutal First Showing for house Delaque. They came to the scene showing they are not to be taken lightly. Great Battle Report. Orlock down 2 and losing territory means they are going to be hard-pressed this season.

That was a rough start for House Goliath! Hopefully it won't cripple them going forward in the campaign. :-/ Fun battle report, always good to see the NPC's get what they deserve.
@@MiniatureGameMontage you might give them a roll on the house favor list or give them a house agent for their upcoming battle should they be at a considerable disadvantage?
So did you do Delaque justice? ;) Yea absolutely. Like you said they are sneeky and can be a real pain to deal with. Webguns are really good if you can get them in position. If you want to be really annoying you could equip your gang with photovisors, gunshrouds and go for the generatorium. Combined with Darkness descends you can really control the board. However its a way that are close to beeing "that" guy if one abuse it. Overall good report. Really like the dicebox.
Personally I'm loving Darkness games these days, but that's mostly the House book gave Van Saar (aka the other That Guy gang) those stupidly effective Cyber-eyes. 50 creds for Infra-Sight effects on every weapon I ever carry including Rapid Fire ones *and* they're free on one type of Champion? Yes, please.
@@richmcgee434 Yea. For now the edge Delque have over that is the cheaper cost and cheap gunsrhouds in their houselist. Since you get revealed if you make noise.
Thanks! Similar method to my terrain. Black undercoat, red-brown drybrush. Then a drybrush of underhive ash bringing out the middle a bit. Then a random drybrush of silver and add some weathering like rust. Really easy to knock out quickly.
Looking forward to getting into this, especially now you’re using House of books. One thing that jumped out at me immediately and I’d do differently with the Goliath list is have the Stimmer swap Berzerker for Nerves of Steel. You don’t want your Stimmer getting shot and pinned constantly when all you want to do is get into combat. Berzerker isn’t really warranted as the Stimmer already has double attacks through paired and has the default Combat Chems potentially granting further attacks. A stim pack will enhance this even further. I say this from experience. In my test run before a campaign I didn’t have NoS on my Stimmer and he spent the game on his ass. In the campaign, with NoS he’s my MVP, has taken out the rogue ambot in one turn in a solo game and slices through Ogryns for fun. He’s now got Walk it Off skill and a couple of stat increases. Have you added any enhancements from vat/nat/unborn to anyone? Remember you can’t add them to existing fighters after creation. I have my Stimmer with Generic Ancient and Overdeveloped Musculature for added punch and longevity. Also, axes (of any kind) are your friends over a power hammer imo. That’s my two cents on that anyway.
Thanks man. I’ll have to look into those changes. Technically I made the bed and now I have to lay in it, lol. I didn’t mess with a lot of the enhancements. I just found the cost adding up so quickly. And finally I was like I’ll take another body. I guess I have a long way to go with these guys
@@MiniatureGameMontage Teue, can’t change now so maybe try for NoS as an advancement. That’s what I found when building but I just put a lot of creds into my tyrant, forge boss, and stimmer. Went with one specialist and the rest were one of the Juve types. Also took a couple of negative enhancements to reduce costs of the more expendable fighters. I think hiving my leader an additional wound off the bat as well as potentially raising attacks/toughness made them super hard to put down and so I was less reliant on the other fighters. Maybe go for some natborn upgrades on new recruits and there are some cool combinations for unborn forgeborn allowing ‘outsider’ skills and then upgrade to Stimmers down the line. @@MiniatureGameMontage no trouble. I’m just one guy with one experience. No expert by any means. Thank you for providing quality content for my eyeballs 👊🏾
7:20 I think you skipped rolling Initiative for Severus to avoid a fall when he went pinned there. Certainly looks like he's within 1" of an edge, anyway. Of course, he makes up for it by faceplanting during a jump later on, but I suspect Beatstick would have been much happier if he'd fallen here instead. Rough game for the Gollies all around. On the Sneak side, I'm glad to see my Van Saar aren't the only one who suffer from the curse of plasma gun ammo checks. I swear, they come up every time you pull the trigger...
Thanks! So yeah not my favorite tbh. What I like is you can normally only have 2 so it's pretty limited. What I dislike is some of them are just plain game swinging crazy. I use them to give people flavor and to show what they are like. Cheers!
In your experience, is the climb action useless when not used on ladders? I haven't been able to play yet, so I have no experience with it. I never see you use it, but it might be able to get fighters in range to shoot immediately or into engagement range faster instead of having to take the long way around up stairs or elevators.
Also, when you fire two pistols with TGB and gunfighter, are they considered simultaneous? You made two seemingly separate attacks with Sinfall versus Brutus. Then Sinfall hit Brutus, he went down prone and SI'd behind partial cover, but he got shot at again, which normally can't happen (unless I'm missing something). I don't think anyone else was in position to shoot him afterwards either, and the game ended after that round. ... And then he died... But if they're simultaneous, then yeah. He dead. :(
It’s not useless but it really depends on terrain height. It costs double your movement to climb. So a 4” move climbs 2 vertical inches. It can put you in an exposed position. But all really depends.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Oh, wow, they errata'd TGB. You did it right. "PAGE 41 - SHOOTING Amend the TWIN GUNS BLAZING entry as follows: If a fighter is armed with two weapons with the Sidearm trait, they can choose to attack with both of them as part of a single Shoot (Basic) action. [Make the hit roll for each weapon before resolving any hits scored]. Both attacks must be made against the same target and the hit roll for each suffers a -1 modifier."
@MiniatureGameMontage severus is Harry Potter's teacher, and then there's "Severin your servant" from the Velvet Underground song. The names use of "s" and "r" make is kind of serpentine sounding on the tongue.

I’ve never been a Goliath player before, always Orlock or Escher but Chains is my favourite House of book of those release so far. Looking forward to getting out of our now 5 month downtime in our Uprising campaign 😅
@@SebbStrife Thanks for the feedback. Loved it. Cheers!
@@MiniatureGameMontage no trouble. I’m just one guy with one experience. No expert by any means.
Thank you for providing quality content for my eyeballs 👊🏾
Your channel keeps getting better and better. Are you playing on one set of dark uprising terrain ?
Just one “official” set. I do 3D print to make ends more easily meet. :)
You are correct. :) I appreciate you watching and commenting
@@MiniatureGameMontage No problem. You *did* ask if we spotted any mistakes...
Oh this is cool
Lol - it’s pulling you in!
House Delaque you beautiful sneaky punks
""Honest Bill wasn't so honest" ☺☺☺
Great reports and you really make a story of the campaigns
I'm not sure I like these stratagem cards how do you feel a out them?
Thanks! So yeah not my favorite tbh. What I like is you can normally only have 2 so it's pretty limited. What I dislike is some of them are just plain game swinging crazy. I use them to give people flavor and to show what they are like. Cheers!
Wonderful battlereport. It would be nice to see a few mid to wide shots as it is hard to follow where people are on the board
Agreed! Great feedback.
What is the game ground made off, it looks awesome with the terrian.
The boards look better and better :)
The zone mortalis type of tiles. I’m all about continuous improvement :)
What minis are those hivers? I'm kinda needing some civies. lol Thanks for your time. :)
Sure. They are Mantics Walking Dead models.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Ahh, thank you. :)
My mate plays Delaque. Fun to play against.
I enjoyed it. They are tricky for sure!
I guess he goes by headless Bill now.
I think they happen at the same time. The rules say they both happen as a simple action but fully resolve one then the other, lol
@@MiniatureGameMontage Oh, wow, they errata'd TGB. You did it right.
"PAGE 41 - SHOOTING
Amend the TWIN GUNS BLAZING entry as follows:
If a fighter is armed with two weapons with the Sidearm trait, they can choose to attack with both of them as part of a single Shoot (Basic) action. [Make the hit roll for each weapon before resolving any hits scored]. Both attacks must be made against the same target and the hit roll for each suffers a -1 modifier."
@@Zaxus Right and due to his skill, gunfighter, he doesn't suffer the -1. Well cool that is good to know.
where did the grenade go on the first shot? Missed shot needs to be rolled with a direction dice and possible ammo check. FYI
Been having some connectivity issues recently. It was fired in Krak mode which doesn't have a blast marker.
The leader of Deleaque should take overseer as his skill, par him with the quick shot long rife chapion and it shoots 4 time a turn.
Good grief! lol
Severus is a great delacque name.
Thanks! I’m trying to think of where that came from. Metal Gear maybe
@MiniatureGameMontage severus is Harry Potter's teacher, and then there's "Severin your servant" from the Velvet Underground song. The names use of "s" and "r" make is kind of serpentine sounding on the tongue.
@@te9591 there ya go! They all come from somewhere 😂
What are the models you use for civilians?
Walking Dead by Mantic Games.
Hey sorry is there somewhere I can find the house Delaque gang list. Thanks.
I can send you the link but it will be on Monday.
Yes please. I am starting a group and looking for inspiration. Thanks
@@lordneg1 Try this link out. This is my current Delaque list. Yaktribe is incredible for gang building. Cheers! yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/dark_syndicate.162077/
@@MiniatureGameMontage Thanks so much. Yaktribe is awesome :)
Upgraded board tiles, very swanky.. this is a much posher hive than the one that blew up last season.
Always trying new things!
Why no Van Saar or Gene Stealers? They are neat gangs.
All in good time 🙂
No more enforcers this season? Bummer
They are always around…doing Enforcer stuff.
