Now that I'm caught up on the campaign I'm waiting excitedly for each new episode! That was a nasty back-and-forth for a bit there. I had to actually open up my copy of House of Chains when you listed how many attacks that Stimmer got on the charge because I was just flabbergasted! But yeah, those things are terrifying (which actually kind of pleases me, because the Corpsegrinder Cults were kind of stealing the face-punching show from the Goliaths until the House of Chains came out)
On the topic of total attacks, do combat chems adjust base attack characteristics, so that with paired weapons you could get 12 attacks on the charge minimum, + 1 for charging + 1 for dual melee weapons, totalling up to 14, or are the D3 additional attacks not affected by paired weapons doubling attacks on the charge? 🤔
Watching this after a few beers at the end of the party. At 13:00 my literal and out loud reactions were pained "nghhg," followed by even more pained "ARGGH". Nice of you to finally bring injury rolls into this!
Thanks! Lol the injury rolls were requested so it’s a thing moving forward :) It should be done that way and I think it’s much more thematic instead of waiting to the end
Always love these battle reports, I'm making my way through season 2 while waiting for new season three battles. Great timing uploading this today, as I needed something to relax with after a manic day. Thanks again!
@@MiniatureGameMontage Nice! I find myself spending more time making terrain than painting models. Looking forward to the next battle report. If you ever wanted to put a few tips on how your design boards into a video, I'd love to see it!
It's all been said. But It bears repeating SUBLIME Beautiful board, terrain, minis, production, audio, sfx, editing. All of it. Just so dang GREAT!. Hey Nines, those dice robbed you more than once. You're due pardner. You are due some crazy success rolls. Smart play on the roll out of dodge. With that big meathead standing there with a big red X on his face, that took a very cool head to pull back. Well done. Yo Big Boys, just remember... You can oonly "beat the clock" so many times. Eventually you end up a name on the wall. ;) love, Love, LOVE these. Thanks for the share. Cheers
I've been rewatching season 3 from the start. They are a top quality necromunda fix! 2nd time of watching I notice more details of the painting and background rather than the story and game play. Love the look of both these gangs.
@@MiniatureGameMontage don't sell yourself short, the overall look and tones you've achieved are really good. My favourites are the Escher and Delaque but I will be using your corpse grinders as an inspiration for my own.
Wow, I'm loving what they did for Goliaths in HoC. Nice stuff. Very good game, a lot of back and forth. I definitely like seeing the injuries rolled up in combat. I totally agree that it gives the gangs incentives to hunt down the ganger that killed one of their own. It adds a good storytelling element. I can't wait to see Enforcers vs Corpse Grinders. I want to see how their new lineup fairs.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Just an insane amount of attacks coming out of the stimmer. I give mine the paired spud jackers to save some credits since he *should* wipe the floor with just about anyone he charges anyway. Great game
Close fought game coming down to some critical dice rolls, gas proving it's worth again.... Gas certainly has the potential to be awesome but often it's a let down. That said if you had the chem synth for a+1 to wound would be nice, then combining with the chem still where you can manufacture you're own gas and toxins, now we're talking! Imagine how deadly your death maiden would be then?
@@MiniatureGameMontage At 15 credits it's a steal! Thought of buying a phyrr cat to protect some of your characters? You could proxy with a phelynx from the Death Maiden box.
It's worth hiring the Escher unique hanger on if an Escher gang is thinking about investing in gas and toxin weapons. Also gives some income from the fixer skill.
Damnation...no hits with gas?!?! The Lad would've won for sure otherwise. Great job, Gents. BTW...whomever is responsible for the paint gets kudos x3...especially for the hulking massives.
Just starting with Necromunda and damn Goliaths seem to be brutal 😆 For me it's Escher and Delaque tho, since I went with the starter box. Hope I have better luck with dice rolls with my Escher 😅
Yes - they are 3d printed. They were previously on thingiverse but I believe taken down. If you would like the files send me an email. I have permission from the owner to share them.
Overall good battle report but a fair bit of dead air. Lots of cinematic moments in this battle which was enjoyable to see and man, some of those dice rolls were terrible.
Would have give the guy with the rotary saw thing (forget the name) reaction attacks, might have needed 7s but I *think* there's a rule where he can still do it if he rolls 6s, and then rolls his base WS on those 6s. Extremely unlikely, but it would have been hilarious if he turned round and gutted the Death Maiden on her charge.
That table is just beautiful
Thanks! It feels very rewarding, lol.
Fantastic as always.
Eagerly looking forward to the next one.

" Brutal " batrep! As always a great and action packed "SumpLife" video... yall keep up the great work!
Appreciate it!
THAT'S HOW THE BATTLE REPORT SHOULD LOOK LIKE!
Everyone, sit down on your sorry asses, watch and learn!
Steady, deliberate camera work too. Instead of wildly moving from point to point.

About half and half :) I officially own a box of everything but eventually I got a 3D printer to help supplement

First time viewer here. This is how battle reports should be done, you nailed it!
Welcome! Glad you like the format. I’m working on another one now.
Another incredible battle report. The escher dice were unkind to them, but a good fight all the same.
Finally got caught up through the series and it was all great watches! Super excited for more
Awesome. Thanks for following it through. We're working on the next one this week. I have a sneak peek on Instagram if you use it.

Awesome batrep, easily the best Necromunda games going!
Thanks! We put a lot of love into making them.
Really well done on the camera angles and the report, great work and hope you had a good time.
Thanks this game was a lot of fun.
Love you guys' work! Shouldn't the Death Maiden have gotten a reaction attack at 18:40 when Hulk wounded but failed to kill her?
Oh no! We must have kept on rolling and forgot them. Crap, lol! Thanks for pointing that out. :)

You should do a vid on how you chose to set up your terrain. The tables always seem so fun to play on!
The secret is totally random. Lol, literally bring out 4 boxes of random terrain and play Lego. Then my son gives feedback and we adjust and go.

Amazing as always. One question: did Tempest not need to roll to see if she fell off the edge when she was hit?
At around 17:22
No we measured and her base was in the middle so it was just over 1/2” in both directions. :) it was close enough to not roll at least

It's so hard to be an Escher fan. Every time I watch a battle report, they lose. No wonder, to be honest, being this fragile.
They actually won Season 2 but have struggled in 3. Going to get a bit more in depth with poisons coming up
