The Butcher of Widows is truly blessed by the Lord of Skin and Sinew. Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows and he definitely lost a lot of blood from those flesh wounds 🩸🩸🩸. Great game. 😸
Also, whatever was in those loot counters was clearly something important to him, and unholy things the Enforcers were desperate to get out of the hands of these cultists
@@MiniatureGameMontage How many terrain boxes did you use for this table, and what boxes did you use? Your tables always look great, but my tables always feel too light and anemic (makes fighting Van Saar a losing proposition).
lol - I use about 2 boxes of Dark Uprising worth of terrain. I then bring in some Kill Team sector mechanicus terrain or that Pegasus terrain to help fill out the board. I'll also 3d print some houses or other items to help fill it out. Hope that helps!
The creature in the dark is a nice effect and I always loves atmospheric elements ever since the first Necromunda. They always add a nice level of story to the battle as it evolves. Very nice battle report!
Yeah we're going to work on that. Once they hit the table unless they were accidentally dropped I can't pull it back. The dice gods are always watching!
Really unlucky for Enforcers, and that horrors in the dark rule was insane - wouldn't have been surprised if you went with your decision to give it player of the match. As always, great video - good effects, good narrative, well shot. Fingers crossed the next game works out better for your son. I can appreciate the frustration!
Young Sir. We ALL know that utter frustration you felt when The Goddess Di rolls against you. She is fickle. But always remember 3 things. 1. She'll be SUPER nice to you during some other game. 2. It is just a game & is about having some fun. 3. You get to have fun with your Dad! Another great one gents.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Yeah just seems silly to have one faction have more points/models AND the tactical edge in a scenario like this. I know the campaign decides things in a way but still tough for enforcers
I made a similar mistake trying to go toe-to-toe against Corpse Grinders with my enforcers. Used threat response to counter charge much the same way, whiffed my attacks and ended up with both my champ and leader going OoA in the retaliation attacks. Lesson learnt... stay away!
Great battle rep as usual! Bad luck for enforcers, it could have been gone quite differently if the wound dices came up with an out of action or a serious injury during subjugator counter charge.
I agree 100%. If the butcher goes down you're looking at a different game potentially. It's one of those things where you hope it happens because it would be absolutely epic...but alas, dice. lol
Im not convinced by the subjugators. I honestly think they don’t make their money back, they’re so expensive. I’d take regular enforcers with boltguns over them any day. Maybe after a few games add one or too in if there’s the credits, concussion carbine is a much cheaper crowd control, plus it has concussion to reduce initiative to help enemies fall to their righteous punishment. 😆
@@MiniatureGameMontage Yeah, their stats are so average but it’s balanced by their good access to equipment. In my enforcers list I don’t use any subjugators.
Another great report and it’s given me something to think about given my next game (first of the Damnation phase) is against Corpse Grinders. I’m Goliath, any tips?
These guys are fast and you have to keep them pinned. Grenade launchers can be effective at avoiding the mask checks because you don't have to target the model. If you want to get up close with them I would recommend stim-sluggs to get the extra movement you need. Goliath is T4 which will be effective against gangers, but keep in mind the butcher is S4/T4. Cutters/Champions are S4 so they will probably wound you on 3s. If they charge you you're more than likely dead if they have paired weapons. So if you want to get close be sure you do the charging or pin them. I'll be interested to see how it goes!
@@MiniatureGameMontage Awesome cheers. Luckily I have plenty of grenades strewn about my gang at both size templates, plus an infiltrator with a web gun! My Stimmer will make mincemeat of them if he charges and passes the willpower test. Maybe I can focus on the initiates and force a bottle test?

Blast and templates make a mockery of the Corpse Grinders. They ignore their willpower tests (since you don't need to target them directly) and constantly pinning a gang that is mainly close combat just takes them out the game. I played against them with Cawdor and their blunderpoles and those purgation shots just ruined the grinders with blaze and pinning.
Great video as always. I think when someone is on 1 wound and you roll 2 OOA's(Skulls) you roll twice on the lasting injury table. Might be wrong. Its harsh.
