Spoiler Alert: As a note, per the April 2022 errata, fleeing the battlefield was moved to the end phase after taking bottle tests. Reinforcements arrive at the end of the end phase. Therefore, they would not be subject to the cool checks that made them flee. Only one of the nacght-ghuls was a reinforcement. In addition, Bottle Tests are made with reinforcements included per the 2023 rules update.
Ouch, I was rooting for Delaque in this one. That one went pretty quick, indeed. I'm working on getting some Necromunda vehicles assembled and painted thanks to your videos, been doing videos of them as I work on them as well. Thanks for making these!
Empathy for your match, understanding the amazing choices you made for the table setup, presentation (analog and video editing) and narrative. Always appreciate your Necromunda games, and took a few screen grabs to better my own tables in the future. Best wishes, and keep shining 🍻🤘
thank you for these reports I really enjoy them. In the new book if you’re using reinforcements your bottle check is against the number of fighters eligible to fight in the battle. Page 139
@@MiniatureGameMontage I’m not huge on chasing rules on people’s content but your channel taught me a ton when I started this game and I’m pretty sure I didn’t see anyone on the internet call this one out in the new rules. It felt huge to me. Immediately made me feel better about missions including reinforcements in games I arbitrate.
Whenever a game is over sooner than expected, my mates and I just roll up a new scenario and play that too. No reason for the day to be over just because one game went by overly quick.
Aw man, that cyber mastiff ran off like an excitable little puppy, wagging it tail.... Sometimes these things happen with Necromunda, I fully understand the disappointment of spending longer setting up/breaking down a table than actually playing the game. But the table looked great, I was entertained watching it, and you said you enjoyed playing it, so it's an all round winner despite not being what you had planned 👍🏻
I totally get when the dice gods throw a massive wrench in the plans! I actually love the RNG madness of Necromunda and the evocative nature of the terrain interaction rules, because even the best laid plans can go awry very quickly. I know if this was my buddy and I, we'd quickly start another battle, but, yeah, I appreciate the integrity here. As to the cyber mastiff. Ive found the ability to make my character immune to coup de grace is excellent. I have him join my shooty champs to protect them. The single s3 attack isnt reliable, but as a way to charge enemies that I shot at close range who are seriously injured, it shines.
Looters uses Gang Rating, not Crew Rating, to determine Tactics cards so Delaque wouldn't have got any extra Tactics cards despite being significantly down on their starting Crew. Great to see another Necromunda Batrep regardless!
Commented within the first 60 seconds to claim my prediction of Orlock victory. Love this channel, love this game, and am always happy to see a new video up.
Spoilers . . . . . Love me some House Orlock, especially when they win. The King approves! That said no likes being rolled over, and in my community at least, no one likes rolling their opponents over. The best games have always been the ones that were nail biting 7+ turns long. However like you said the game is very swingy, which ultimately is one of the reasons we love it. Don't worry about short videos; those of us who really love the hobby, game, and effort will always tune in to see your wonderful works. May the dice be ever in your favor.
As a viewer I really enjoyed the video so don't worry about it! Just feels bad that maybe it took you guys a long time to set up the table for such a short game and video. But again from viewer, point of view, it's really fun to see a team getting totally pummelled from time to time.
Shotgunned all of seasons 3 and 4 (so far) while sick in bed. Going back to season 1 and 2 now. This is truly top -level entertainment for a narrative enthusiast like myself.
Hey man, don’t be so hard on yourself! A videos/battle’s length is not the only indicator of quality. Your Necromunda games are my favourite to watch because you take the time to have interesting gangs, and a thematic board to fight over. As someone with very limited free time, shorter videos work just fine for me. You’re doing great stuff here mate - give yourself due credit!
I was so sure that the Web Guns would be the balance issue at first. Guessing what would be the issue was fun in it's own right. I'm the one who does scenario-prep and terrain in our group as well. The one thing I appreciate more than anything else about my group is that if a match is short enough we'll just shrug, update roosters and do a second match for the evening.
Always a good day when there's a new Necromunda video. Sometimes you just can't catch a break, that's how it goes. It's one of the great things about the game and leads to some great and often unexpected results. Can the Doggo please be called Leroy?
Holy shit didn't expect a heart. Still gotta admit this was a great game. I mean you tell me it's not hysterical: "the dread house Delaque, the shadows of Necromunda, so collective in their scheming the genestealer cults would blanche, favored eye of Hellmawr" chain routes after two guys survive plasma damage only to be pwned by gravity
A very nice board and presentation. These weird gangers can not be trusted to behave properly. We need more law enforcements? The cyber dog looks very scary :)
it may only be 15 min's but a lot happen cyber mastiff to set off the trap smart vary smart could have taken one of them with him but still a good move
I’ve had games that go like that! Don’t feel downheartened by it- that is simply how Necromunda goes sometimes. I’ve personally been flamed to death by Hand-flamer wielding Delaque’s; failed all of my bottles and GTFO turn 3. It’s not less-fun, it’s just the game!
You're right it's a shame to spend such a long time setting up the table only for the game to end so quickly... Might as well play another game with other gangs while you have it set up and you're both there...? 😛😁

still getting used to the new rules myself
and sometimes Necromunda Games are like that. We also had that sometimes. U cant balance everything especially plasma shots *shrug*
Was going to say this, seamed wrong that the Nacght-ghuls to show up just to leave
just wanted to let you guys know that this channel inspired me to start a campaign of my own in my local club. I love your vids!
Awesome! I hope you have some good participation and great games!
Excellent work Sir! The unpredictability of Necromunda is one of its charms, but is it a killer to make a video on :D
It may be a short battle report but it was a good one. It shows how crazy and unpredictable the dice can be. Great job!

Thanks, friend! Happy painting!
Awesome video! I was just telling my friend how the grungy, imperfect, unpredictability is what appeals to me about this game. Keep up the good work!
Love the honestly and authenticity mate! Sometime matches do swing weird, but that makes the great ones even that much better!
Necromunda be a harsh mistress.

Thanks! Good info on the mastiff. I need to give him a name but was waiting for something cool to happen 😂
Short but sweet, good to see another necromunda game.
An unfortunate set of rolls, but I'm loving the visual effects you layer on the video's!

Maybe keep the delacque back in two flanks, wait for the nachtguls to appear and engage, then advance with those two flanks.
Yeah I can't get these Nacht-Ghuls to be consistent. They are so good and I'm drastically under utilizing them.
So are you not applying all injury dice results? Two injury dice rolls 2 serious injury is serious and a flesh wound right? Per new book
