There's that Lazy Susan again! Good pick ups. With regards to Switch. I'd also love one, but have never owned one, and refuse to pay "new" prices on one. Well done on committing to getting one in the future, and you know you'll definitely find one down the line at a bargain price. Please make a video about your cheap Switch purchase (when Its cheap, obviously)...
I splurge every now and then like I did with Sonic Mania here, but my general philosophy is buy stuff as cheap as possible and sell what you don't want in that lot or day at the flea market or garage sales to get what you want for free. The rest of the money goes to paying my rent because I'm stuck in a place which costs $2k / month to live. I film every pickup now. You will see a Switch when I find one--promise :) I should have bought a lot more sealed Sonic Mania Plus on Switch. The price skyrocketed. It's so weird watching the prices of things you saw for $10 new suddenly go for 80, 90, 100, etc.. I'm sure the very old NES collectors were flabbergasted by the prices they've seen.
@@WhatsOnMyShelf you appear to have a good buying philosophy, and a workable method to get what games you want! Game collecting (if even on a small scale) must be so rewarding, but a lot of work I'm sure. Personally, I never thought to collect any classic machines or games myself (due to lack of local stock and super expensive import costs) and natively focused on emulation for everything instead. It's for this reason I kinda envy collectors... Due to the local stock availability. I know it's "drying up" slowly over there, but compared to here where once something is "old" it just gets thrown out. Terrible. Thanks for the video and comment. Cheers for now!
@@arcadesunday4592 I have come across people at garage sales who said they threw stuff in the garbage unfortunately. A few even told me they did it as recently as a week or day before the sale because they didn't think anybody wanted old games.
@@WhatsOnMyShelf so sad!! It's a real phenomenon though. The general population just don't get collecting, unfortunately... They could have even made some money selling old stuff for cheap instead of putting them in he trash! Anyway, keep up you're collecting!

I was thinking of your comment and it reminded me of a past find: ruclips.net/video/UiznT4mW-W4/видео.html
