Doesn't take elitism to want a machine that was put together decently, and its not even hard to manage cables decently. If you want to sell something for far more than its worth you ought to at least make it look the best it possibly can.
Hearing "cable management is trash" really starts to grate on your ears after 50 times, especially since that's probably the least important part of the price. In my opinion, this video idea has a lot of potential but could have been executed on better. It might have been more interesting if you compared the real worth of the PC to what their ridiculous asking price, for example.
Would you buy a ferrari that has shit and garbage inside even though the Engine is fine? Nobody is buying that lmao. And you know its a bad sign since this fuckers cant even fix their internals for shit.
@@TheHalo2fan how long does it take to fix it urself, u find a good deal with awful CM buy it and fix it, doesnt hurt, but Idk I just hate hearing CM as an end all be all, its the least important of all the other things
I think people are missing the point of him complaining about cable management. Presentation matters, and if you are trying to sell something out outrageous prices then at least do the bare minimum and make it look good.
Carlos979797 it's as custom as a Lego kit is, which is to say not at all. when you consider context, simply choosing parts and building a PC would not make it custom, the act of customising means making something unique and changing something that cant be modified by other channels.
www.dictionary.com/browse/custom?s=t "made specially for individual customers" If you chose the parts, and built/had it built to your specifications, then it's custom.
1. Not a single PC shown was worth even the half of the price. 2. The optic aspect is quite important if you want to try stuff. My point is, you shouldn't pick unfortunate photos of stuff you try to sell. To be serious those PCs with absurdly bad cable managements look like there was a rat's nest inside and it died at some point.
And cable management isn't hard, especially with higher priced/higher quality cases. I got myself a 50$ case from Corsair with super-simple cable managemnt and I got it to look 1000 times better than those people (hence it was my first PC build ever)
literally the easiest thing on earth to find a pc case with no window. cable management doesnt have to be a specialty to make a decent effort, which they clearly didn't do.
I think when they say "custom", they just mean that it's not an off-the-shelf pre-built PC. They customized it the way that they did with parts they bought.
Sir_Sethery they are using "custom" as a way to push their marketing. Just because I built my PC for my needs, that does not mean it's in anyway custom built for anyone else. At least that's the case with these second hand computers.
here is a newsflash for you, ANY pc you build yourself is CUSTOM since its not prebuilt and no one else can build it the exact same way .. if you use a different screw for mounting ur PSU compared to everyone else its CUSTOM... jeez learn the meaning of the word before you slam it ;)
Same here, Bro :( lmao. Though I'd say my system is worth about $650. And I keep it neat as hell. My 960 is the gigabyte xtreme gaming edition. so thats worth a little more than a standard 960
most of those rigs would play games fine, just bad prices... I have never once sold something on craigslist without the person showing up and offering less than what the post said. So now I always ask for a lot more than what I want, let them talk me down to what I really wanted, and let them think they saved some money.
It's like those people who list a 1070 for $1100 on ebay. It's not that they think it's worth that, they take the long shot that some moron might buy it.
2:31 the printed Cinebench results OMG haha Greg, you should take a look at the pc gamers here in brazil, it's insane Like there's a guy trying to sell an core i3 with integrated graphics as a "Gaming PC" for about 384USD wich is R$1.200 converted
Randal DaVandal actually no, i just converted the prices, either way 384USD or R$1.200 for an core i3 sandy bridge with integrated graphics is way too much expensive
A lot of people think that a 10% discount from what they originally paid 3 years ago is a good price to list at. Your PC loses roughly 15% of it's value the day you buy it. After just a year, someone offering you 60% of what you originally paid is more than fair. These guys wan't to have their cake and eat it too. If you're an early adopter and want to buy the shiniest gear as soon as it drops, you will lose money.
Also, when they start listing the retail prices for the parts, you know they're in full denial and there isn't even a possibility of offering them accepting a reasonable price.
GPU boss REALLY is trash....UserBenchmark is SOOOO much better and more accurate as they usually have tests of 50,000+ systems with that part and tell the exact sytem parts and which brands tested the best. Plus GPU boss said the gtx780 was better than the gtx1080 for nearly 6 months till they updated it
I mean, userbenchmark is also trash, if you are getting a GPU/CPU cheack real world gaming benchmarks from sites like Gamersnexus, Techpowerup or even Tomshardware...
userbenchmark is not trash if you know how one of the components perform irl. actually it is the best comparison tool in my opinion since its a real life test on thousands of computers on the same standard. it is not enough to see a parts performance(you should look up reviews for that) but if you know one of the parts performance, its the best tool for finding the other parts performance.
(Hypothetical godsend PC, but cables are askew ....BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!) Lol, wtf dude. No fucks given as long as system is worth the money and has no component damage. I'll make the thing pretty myself if necessary.
Nikolas Konstantinou well the reason why cable management is an important thing, is because it can tell you how much dedication went into the build aka if you build a bad spec computer you won't care to build it purrty
I have scratched my head raw reading ads on Craigslist over the years. I suppose the word "depreciation" just isn't part of most people's vocabulary these days. Or it's just greed coupled with an attitude of who gives a crap if I screw someone over.
Let me help you describe these kind of craiglists... You just bought a Honda car for lets say $2000, then 2 years later you put the Honda on the craiglist for $3000 and saying "Its faster than Ferrari"
To be fair I felt like you were a bit harsh on quite a few of them. I mean there were a few that really weren't too bad considering that used already built PCs generally sell for much more than they should.
I thought this said "Reading Religious Craigslist offers" and I was thinking it would be a compilation of people saying their computer was blessed by jesus .
I mean technically buying parts separately and assembling yourself is still custom, but like the pile of legos a 2 year old puts together is custom too. Even so, if you're going to call it custom at least have the decency to get some sleeved extensions and fix the cable management. do anything at all that isnt just slap happy ffs. You know what if your PC looks less presentable or as presentable as a shitty OEM PC you dont get to call it custom.
good psus generally come with flat black cables, they're fine but nylon sleeving looks better than the insulation. I used sleeved extensions as a cheap example of one way to make it look less terrible especially in the case of sauce cables, you're the one who got pissy about it lmao. generally speaking a rig does look better with custom cables, cables can be the most prominent and ugliest part of any build, but that's only one minor change you *could* make.
MaiBigCork lmfao you're the only one flaming here, kid. It's a fair thing to make a comment about someone's obviously shit cable management, some people like nice lines and no unsightly cables, we like our desktops to look you know, actually decent.
who is going to keep looking and paying attention to the wiring while playing? like mid game you are going to look inside your pc and say to yourself. "wow what good cable management. I really outdid myself on this one." no one in the world would pay attention to their cable management if they are on their pc.
Exo - CS:GO & more I look at mine a lot that’s why I bought one with a window on the side....and it’s RGB with Nice Cable Management which took like 15 minuets to easily do.
It’s the pricing, they payed that much for the PC and they want their whole money back, they don’t expect the value of it to go down even though they’re used parts
I think the average person in here doesnt understand how pcs work. Parts are dumb expensive and crypto currency is driving prices of parts up. A built pc holds its worth. If i was to sell my pc i wouldnt be going cheap.
He's not laughing at the specs, he's laughing at the PRICES they're asking for those specs. And yeah poor cable management is funny when peoples are A) trying to sell something with pictures and B) using a case with a fucking window.
Nah, the second PC literally had no price, just contact with offer. Which He never did to find out the price. He only made fun of the guy's couple typos.
@Adam Towelweroefcslknasdujh Every single PC in this video had a price tag. Do yourself a favor and actually watch the video not just read the comments.
Cringe. Damn had a friend of a friend with a 10 year old PC gave her my 5 year old PC because I could not stand anyone I had ever met even briefly being that outdated. Otherwise it would have gone to a homeless shelter.
This makes me want to look at my local ads and see what people are trying to sell. Also, seeing you rip the cable management of so many builds makes me glad I at least tried to make mine look semi-decent. I just don't always understand what people are attempting to pull off when they list things so poorly on Craigslist.
Caring about "cable management" is stupid. Buying a computer to look at its insides makes no sense. I dislike the trend of all these cases with windows and these motherboards and fans with lights on them. I buy a computer to use it by looking at my monitor and listening to my speakers/headphones, not look at the case.
Alex Folland Wut, that's applied to cars Aswell. If you don't make your car tidy, then wouldn't you feel bad? I mean, most of the time you're looking out the window and not actually at your car.
So you're saying you *SIT* inside you PC when you're listening to music, watching videos/movies, or playing video games? I don't have much more to say other than that is a shitty analogy.
Yeah, a little. That's the problem when you get into PC gaming, the more you know, the more you turn your nose up at things you would have killed for a few years ago.
he may not have meant to sound snobbish and some of them were not professionally laid out witch they should have been considering they were posting their pc on a public domain and trying to sell it so it should have been more profesinal looking and maby he wouldnt have what you deem "snobbish"
He is showcasing the ridiculous prices on these PC’s. I hate when people think you need to spend more than 1k on a good gaming computer but thats not true. You can get a pretty decent mid-range PC for half the price. About the same price as a shitty dell.
Im selling my current rig for a bit less then what it was worth, ive been going through ads on Ebay and craigslist laughing at how much these people want. Although i did just get a 6700k, 16 gb 3k mhz ram and a mobo for 355 so there are deals to be had, just have to sift through and get lucky.
www.ebay.com/itm/Gaming-pc-bundle-i7-6700k-Asus-Pro-Gaming-Aura-Corsair-16gb-DDR4-Ram/222584169410?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 is where i got it :3
I got a server with a 1400watt (350$ psu), two 7499 benchmark xeons (65$ a piece), 8gb ram, on a 200$ supermicro board for 100$. The surprise is that it actually boots.
If people want their setups to look nice, then maybe they should be doing their OWN cable management so it fits their needs. Why would you waste your own time managing your cables when you're going to sell it at some point and someone else will have to deal with how you manage them? I would personally have all of the parts either uninstalled to make things work the way *I* want, have the cables disconnected, or manage them on my own. Seriously. It's not a big deal. Besides, it typically means the prices is lower. Therefore, if I see a great deal with poor cable management, I'm buying. No performance loss. It's not always about looks. To me, it's about practicality and being realistic. If you think it matters THAT much, you are wasting your time.
The one thing that drives me nuts about computers and computer hardware right now, is how if you don't keep yourself updated, you will get taken for a ride by people just like this. 100% will. I got ripped off badly by a guy in Nanaimo, Canada where I live. He sold me a PC almost 10 years old (a fact I never learned) for about three times the price every other refurbisher was charging and then told me he has a no-return policy, so I basically pissed away a lot of money on something which can't even support modern hardware upgrades. It was my fault for not doing my research first, but my god, never underestimate some people's capacity to think they can prey on/rip others off.
Ridiculous PC sales? If at a lower price bracket, that would be any AMD FX system in general. Getting tired of these being sold at least double priced of current parts of similar performance
it's all fine to laugh out of overpriced builds but, why even bother with a bad cable managing? in my pc i had a good one for the first 2 PSUs which i used, but for the third one i believe now mine cable managing is pretty bad, yet i would not consider my cpu as a bad one just from that
honestly my i7 6700K at 4.4GHz core & cache with 2x R9 390x, 960 evo 16gb ddr4 3333MHz and 2tb seagate SSHD (old gen, pretty slow i admit it) and 6 case fans 2 of which is 2000 RPM 140mm , 2 1200 140mm , 1 1200 120mm , 1 800 140mm , inside Fractal Design R5 is one of the really strong builds on I7 6700K without any bottleneck, 350h/s in xmrig for I7 6700K , i'm always running it in 24/7 for around 6 months already and only shutdown it for cleaning from dust, cpu fan is hyper 212 evo btw , gpus even undervolted, mining all days all night and no damage was done for now, expecting it to run for at least 1.5 years more, 24/7, then gpus may die but they already earned more than they cost, as long as cables don't disturb something everything is fine you know (P.S. i keep my gpus under 75C , that's why they live for that long in 24/7 mining, it's well known secret for miners, also it's amd, nvi should be under 70)
i made it to be as good as possible in mid tower case, and my system specs was as a reply to previous message, perhaps you didn't noticed it or didn't read fully, you know, the thing which spicyboisage person wrote, have at least some respect to us
Great video. But just to say if you think that is bad see what people are charging for old iMacs, Macbooks and iPods. Saw a post yesterday that asked for 80 dollars on an old iPod Nano 8GB. LOL LOL LOL!!!!! That is so pointless.
Donavin Schlosser Apple products are so over priced, especially the Mac books and PC'S because they have components that were good 4 years ago but still want the price of a pc for this year
All I can say is this just shows you how dumb the average consumer is with technology. Explains how Apple makes billions and retail stores for computers still exist. One time I was in a best buy (Was in there to see a surface in person and test it out cause no Microsoft stores near me) and a sales man was trying to sell someone with a console a smart TV with latency of like 100ms. The guy was buying into and I intervened and told him the truth and showed him online reviews of that LG smart tv showing him the latency delay would affect any kind of gameplay. On top of that explaining to the guy why you have a xbox and need a smart tv when you can play games and stream any kind of media you want with it and its also a bluray player. The guy walked out and took my recommendation to look up some non smart TV's and come back better prepared. People don't take the 5 min of research to get a good product. They think if it is expensive and the "Sales man" says its good its got to be good
found this channel because of your video 3 years ago about gpu crossfire and i love your content i also got a build today and i wanted your confirmation if it was actually worth selling at this certain price point
Before I knew much about building computers, I bought a pre-built desktop from hp that has an entry level core i5 CPU and integrated graphics, low ram, mechanical hdd, and it cost $600! That system is probably worth less than a $100 but i have since upgraded every component of that computer except the motherboard.
Agree with you on this. People just don't realize how cheap computer hardware gets in such a short time. It's not what YOU PAID FOR IT ... it is WHAT IS IS WORTH NOW ... But, yeah, so many people don't understand that, nowadays ...
I never got why people care so much about cable management besides how it looks I mean I have good cable management, but someone buying a used computer I don't see any problem with poor cable management you can always redo it all and IT HAS NO EFFECT WHAT'S SO EVER ON PERFORMANCE AT ALL NOT EVEN AIR FLOW.
its like a nice car that's dirty with loads of trash inside. it doesn't detract from the cars performance it detracts from the overall appeal and shows a lack of care. Not something that screams top dollar price tags. messy cables is just pure laziness. you only have to do it once, they don't have to be custom braided, trained perfectly in my opinion just an effort to make them look tidy if visible
Video is cringe. You spend half the time laughing at cable managment. Ever think these people just bought a pc to play games and now want to sell.it?. I have a very basic gaming pc. I just bought a new powersupply and graphics card and ssd. You can bet that when i install it the cable.managment will be shit. Because cable management does not mean shit
If you're using overpriced Craiglist ads as content, you'll never run out. It's like people don't know that used items aren't worth 'factory new' price.
English is not even my primary language but damn, i can spell better than that haha xD i myself have a ratsnest in my pc but i don't have a window on it xD
ニャル子 dont feel bad about upgrading to an fx as long as u don't get anything lower than a fx 6300 u should still do fine ingames and normal computers uses. in short stay away from the fx 4300 or 4350.
Cash poor dad trying to get a PC for my son to do video editing. I am very happy I found you. Your content is teaching me a lot about this computer stuff. I think I'm just gonna keep saving up to $300 and build it myself off ebay using the knowledge I've gained from your channel. Thanks man!
Suburban Nightmare you do realize if you want to make a pc for video editing you need an i7 processor, and that alone sucks up all 300$. For 300$ you can get a crappy refurbished pc. Oh and dont get me started on the graphics card. Atleast a 1060, +300$. 16gb of ram, 120$, motherboard 100$, psu 80$, ssd is 60-100$. Plus 60$ for hard drive. Copy of windows 10 is 80 bucks. Good luck with those 300 dollars, even with savings on ebay due to used parts 300$ wont get you much. Man its a shame how little the average comsumer knows about computer parts. But hey, i knew nothing at one point, and we all learn along the way am i right? Just do what i did, save up atleast 1k, and use pc part picker to find the best deals. It compares 6-10 different websites for the best prices.
it's funny how you trash people for having a liquid cooling reservoir outside their case when in reality literally 99% of computer users have never seen a water cooling setup irl...
I have to laugh at how you think you know everything. You were wrong on a good bit of these, you are thinking LOWEST price for these parts. "960, oh that's mediocre" still a relevant card in 2017? This video made little to no sense in a lot of these.
spicyboisage that makes no sense. the 960 is 4k capable it is literally last gen 1060 lmfao. I can run OW @2560x1080 ultra with a 960 90+ fps easily. I can run at 4k with high and very high mixes.

The elitism in the cable management parts is cringe worthy. lol
this
Right???? Exactly what I was thinking.
Agreed

lol true XD
What exactly are you done with?
Marcus skylake is the 6000 series not the 5000
The same guy said gtx 970 with 6gb but there is no such thing. In fact the 970 chip only supports 3.5gb + 0.5 of slower vram.
I think it was the same that said 8 GB GTX 1070 in the title and 6 GB GTX 970 in the description xD
I live in a rural area where people don't know very much about pcs and on Craigslist I saw a PC with a Pentium 4 and 512 MB of RAM selling for $200

Clayton C That's an advantage however, you can build crappy PC's and sell them at exorbitant prices.
That's a good value...
in 2006
Clayton C I'v seen posts of people trying to sell single sticks of ram of 512mb for 20 dollars
Clayton C Try a 15 inch macbook from like 6 years ago for $1200

Greg, at 8:23 don't know if you noticed but looks like the guy has a paper towel in there, probably his loop is leaking.
Yep , Noticed that too XD
Yep. I noticed that too immediately. Custom Custom water cooler + napkins = leaks.
Good, so I'm not the only one.
Along with the unplugged 6 & 8 pin power, i'm dying here xd
I thought any computer you assemble is custom, because you choose the parts. And you make it how you want it
Carlos979797 my red iPhone is custom now I guess
Exactly. What else would you call it if it's not a pre-built?
Carlos979797 it's as custom as a Lego kit is, which is to say not at all. when you consider context, simply choosing parts and building a PC would not make it custom, the act of customising means making something unique and changing something that cant be modified by other channels.
www.dictionary.com/browse/custom?s=t
"made specially for individual customers"
If you chose the parts, and built/had it built to your specifications, then it's custom.
Carlos979797
Idk if this makes sense but I'd say that is custom built, but not customized
Who gives a shit about the cable management? If it's a good deal you can surely fix the cables.
Gordon Freeman the problem is none of them are, lol
Martin Czerniec unfortunate photos...that's the word
Ana E I agree... imagination is all u need to make these look half decent
You should make this a series!
Cable management isn't everyone's specialty. Also, it is getting increasingly difficult to find a gaming case without a side window.
literally the easiest thing on earth to find a pc case with no window.
cable management doesnt have to be a specialty to make a decent effort, which they clearly didn't do.
If you want a cheap case and no window, just get a good old HAF 912. In fact, I just built my new R7 1700X - GTX 1070 rig in one.
Cable management isn't rocket science tho :/
ironmatic 1 yup, I can confirm that the HAF 912 is sick, the ability to throw all the cables in the back is good but the cleaning tho x)
Eh.. i dont even try with cable management anymore...as much as i swap components and HDDs/ssds its pointless to even try...

NovaPvP same. It's not the best. But you shouldn't feel bad since before the 10 series and RX 480 that was basically a good GPU for money
aleos how is it papa Ross?
Same here, Bro :( lmao. Though I'd say my system is worth about $650. And I keep it neat as hell. My 960 is the gigabyte xtreme gaming edition. so thats worth a little more than a standard 960

The sad thing is people are gonna buy these listings.
most of those rigs would play games fine, just bad prices... I have never once sold something on craigslist without the person showing up and offering less than what the post said. So now I always ask for a lot more than what I want, let them talk me down to what I really wanted, and let them think they saved some money.
pm5k00 smart

It's like those people who list a 1070 for $1100 on ebay. It's not that they think it's worth that, they take the long shot that some moron might buy it.
ebay your exposure is to thousands or millions of people, versus craigslist where it's essentially just your area (maybe a few hundred to thousand)

Greg, you should take a look at the pc gamers here in brazil, it's insane
Like there's a guy trying to sell an core i3 with integrated graphics as a "Gaming PC" for about 384USD wich is R$1.200 converted
I think you switched USD and R
Randal DaVandal actually no, i just converted the prices, either way 384USD or R$1.200 for an core i3 sandy bridge with integrated graphics is way too much expensive
We all know that R$ is the roblox currency XDDDd
lol 1200 robux is like 30$. If u think about it it's actually not bad.
Bay Shen Wow, only 1200 robux??
A lot of people think that a 10% discount from what they originally paid 3 years ago is a good price to list at. Your PC loses roughly 15% of it's value the day you buy it.
After just a year, someone offering you 60% of what you originally paid is more than fair. These guys wan't to have their cake and eat it too. If you're an early adopter and want to buy the shiniest gear as soon as it drops, you will lose money.
Also, when they start listing the retail prices for the parts, you know they're in full denial and there isn't even a possibility of offering them accepting a reasonable price.
Yup, people are insane. They think they are entitled to get all of their money back.
VLD3Media exactly!
Small nitpick, it’s “Eat your cake and have it too”
@@ColourlessAmiba It is actually, "Have your cake, and eat it too."

Saw a guy selling Gtx 770
Says it's better than a 1080 look on gpu boss lol
400$!
Christopher Kato I got a GTX 770 wind force for 50$
gpu boss is trash
Some of these are priced fairly just because it doesnt have good cable management doesnt mean its a bad pc
Nikolas Konstantinou ehh most likely ppl sell it overpriced so if someone makes an offer they can get their real asking price
Nikolas Konstantinou well the reason why cable management is an important thing, is because it can tell you how much dedication went into the build aka if you build a bad spec computer you won't care to build it purrty
Cable management is like cleaning your room. Barely anyone does it.

Why would you want to call a shitpile rats nest custom and take ownership of that handiwork.
Sleeved extensions are the definition of wasted money.
for you, some people don't spend $1000+ on their hardware to have it look like shit. But by all means, if ketchup and mustard is your thing.
So sleeved extensions are essential to a custom rig not looking like shit? Give me a break lmfao. Good PSU's come with nice cables anyway.
good psus generally come with flat black cables, they're fine but nylon sleeving looks better than the insulation.
It's funny how I learn more about Pc gaming/building from these types of videos than I do from just straight up tutorials lol.
I hate how much he cares about cable management
The Broken Smile I hate how he hates everything. He's probably just mad that nobody uses his PC building tuts

Brady Bortnem if ur a decent human being you would stop flaming people over decent ads
MaiBigCork lmfao you're the only one flaming here, kid. It's a fair thing to make a comment about someone's obviously shit cable management, some people like nice lines and no unsightly cables, we like our desktops to look you know, actually decent.
MaiBigCork alright, neckbeard. but you first 😂
Apparently bad cable management makes components worth less
who is going to keep looking and paying attention to the wiring while playing? like mid game you are going to look inside your pc and say to yourself. "wow what good cable management. I really outdid myself on this one." no one in the world would pay attention to their cable management if they are on their pc.
Hours??? It takes me about 20 minutes to build a PC top to bottom with clean cable management.
Exo - CS:GO & more that’s why their is a window on the side of Gaming Cases
Exo - CS:GO & more I look at mine a lot that’s why I bought one with a window on the side....and it’s RGB with Nice Cable Management which took like 15 minuets to easily do.
If you are trying to sell a PC for 3k and the cable management looks like you just tossed in yesterday's spaghettis that's pretty fucking stupid.
i like how the one guy had his pc on the carpet. Then his setup on an outdoor picnick table.
This video is cringe. Some are completely normal descriptions. Would you rather them take a single picture and say "Its a computer." ?
It’s the pricing, they payed that much for the PC and they want their whole money back, they don’t expect the value of it to go down even though they’re used parts
How many people can't understand he's making fun of the fact that these PC's are fucking overpriced.
How is it cringe? Every single offert he has shown was easily 50% over the plausible price. Every single PC from this video was a full blown scam.
I think the average person in here doesnt understand how pcs work. Parts are dumb expensive and crypto currency is driving prices of parts up. A built pc holds its worth. If i was to sell my pc i wouldnt be going cheap.
Eddie Perkins But when this was made prices were normalizing, they were close to MSRP. Of course in todays context, you are absolutely correct.
This video just proves any dumb schmuck can build a pc so show this to your friends if they are hesitating to build one! xD
Except they probably had some friend build it for them.
LetoZeth maybe the friend was the dumb schmuck??
*facepalm*
After watching this, I'm now questioning my cable management.🤔
This is sad and cringe. Sitting laughing at cable management and peoples crap PCs.
Adam Toews The price is in the title, $2200.
@Adam Towelweroefcslknasdujh Every single PC in this video had a price tag. Do yourself a favor and actually watch the video not just read the comments.
Some prices in the video werent even that bad to be honest.
Cringe. Damn had a friend of a friend with a 10 year old PC gave her my 5 year old PC because I could not stand anyone I had ever met even briefly being that outdated. Otherwise it would have gone to a homeless shelter.
Lukiel666 You're too kind
Lukiel666 damn
This makes me want to look at my local ads and see what people are trying to sell. Also, seeing you rip the cable management of so many builds makes me glad I at least tried to make mine look semi-decent. So what I got from this was "HURR DURR CABLE MANAGEMENT BAD TOO HIGH PRICE BAD CABLESHURRERR"
what
Caring about "cable management" is stupid.
Love this because in Charlotte, NC these are the types of sellers you have. Literally will sell a old everyday more expensive than bestbuy.
This guy is a snob
Matthew Chandler not really
That's what makes it funny.

Who cares about cable management!
I know right!?
why get a glass panelled case then
It makes the setup look 10x times better!

Getting tired of these being sold at least double priced of current parts of similar performance
it's all fine to laugh out of overpriced builds but, why even bother with a bad cable managing? in my pc i had a good one for the first 2 PSUs which i used, but for the third one i believe now mine cable managing is pretty bad, yet i would not consider my cpu as a bad one just from that
honestly my i7 6700K at 4.4GHz core & cache with 2x R9 390x, 960 evo 16gb ddr4 3333MHz and 2tb seagate SSHD (old gen, pretty slow i admit it) and 6 case fans 2 of which is 2000 RPM 140mm , 2 1200 140mm , 1 1200 120mm , 1 800 140mm , inside Fractal Design R5 is one of the really strong builds on I7 6700K without any bottleneck, 350h/s in xmrig for I7 6700K , i'm always running it in 24/7 for around 6 months already and only shutdown it for cleaning from dust, cpu fan is hyper 212 evo btw , gpus even undervolted, mining all days all night and no damage was done for now, expecting it to run for at least 1.5 years more, 24/7, then gpus may die but they already earned more than they cost, as long as cables don't disturb something everything is fine you know (P.S. i keep my gpus under 75C , that's why they live for that long in 24/7 mining, it's well known secret for miners, also it's amd, nvi should be under 70)
then will just repeat without everything else - as long as cables don't disturb something everything is fine you know

They think if it is expensive and the "Sales man" says its good its got to be good
found this channel because of your video 3 years ago about gpu crossfire and i love your content

Before I knew much about building computers, I bought a pre-built desktop from hp that has an entry level core i5 CPU and integrated graphics, low ram, mechanical hdd, and it cost $600! That system is probably worth less than a $100 but i have since upgraded every component of that computer except the motherboard.
Have you ever been to canada, adjusting for currency difference these are pretty average prices here. Even bestbuy sells at these prices.
OP's OC I live there too
yeah but prebuilts are always more expensive
At least with BB I hope you are getting a new machine, not one that is several years old and well used :D
All still more worthy than Apple
Not something that screams top dollar price tags. messy cables is just pure laziness. you only have to do it once, they don't have to be custom braided, trained perfectly in my opinion just an effort to make them look tidy if visible
it has effect on AIR FLOW,FACT.....
Video is cringe. You spend half the time laughing at cable managment. Ever think these people just bought a pc to play games and now want to sell.it?. I have a very basic gaming pc.
I can’t even understand the point you’re trying to get across.
spicyboisage elaborate
I know, right?
I have to laugh at how you think you know everything. You were wrong on a good bit of these, you are thinking LOWEST price for these parts. "960, oh that's mediocre" still a relevant card in 2017? This video made little to no sense in a lot of these.
Primodialism my 960 plays overwatch at 2560x1080 pretty relevant
spicyboisage that makes no sense. the 960 is 4k capable it is literally last gen 1060 lmfao. I can run OW @2560x1080 ultra with a 960 90+ fps easily. I can run at 4k with high and very high mixes.
8:13 You know a craigslist pc add is good when the bundle comes included with 1070 STIX. xD
DUUUUUUUUUUDEEE i LAUGHED MY EYESS OUT FOR 5MIN STRIGHT AT THE SECOND ONE! LOL XD
