I always play elves, therefore I have an excuse that I don't want to get attached to those whose time on Toril is realtive to that of a hamster. Especially to such a liar as that particular one.

i am actually shocked she can see him lol this is the first time i've seen her say that dialogue XD cause i know withers true identity an all that an figured only the pc character would be able to see him but guess it makes sense though since she did serve time in avernus which is literal hell its likely she may have bumped into him on occassion.
other than that i feel like the only other party members who'd percieve his existance would be wyll or gale since they are magically attuned an maybe astarion? since he's essentially undead as a vampire spawn. or maybe withers just decided he'd make him self readily seen by all of your group
I'd feel like Withers is actually the only being in Faerun she could've safely touched without any harm coming to them

Huh. Wyll is not the person I usually see accidentally romanced.
EDIT: The sheer number of bosses in Act 2 that can be talked to death is HILARIOUS.
As for Halsin's confusing stats, *bear* in mind that he has different stats while posing as an NPC - with a much higher point total than playable characters can get with the pointbuy limitations imposed upon them. Jaheira, and I believe a certain Ranger that shows up later is a very similar case. In short, once they join your party, their stats are built for their Class, not their character.
i accidentally romanced wyll also and was so distraught i couldn’t be poly in the game
I somehow managed to accidentally romance Gale, jocat really isn't kidding when he said these characters have never heard a shred of kindness and so anything nice gets taken wrong
@@shadowwolf7977 i got to the romance scene with gale and he said “i wish i was here with someone who cared abt me more than you” and then we went home 😭

*sometimes*. I played on Ultra and they showed up, I saved and came back and they were invisible.
And I just used fly :)
It's a bug where you can see them the first time, but if you reload, you'll never see them again. They are supposed to be invisible.
I think they're supposed to show up as you enter the trial.
You see them if they are far away. If you character is on them and close to them they are invisible. Thats why "leap of faith" is mentioned before this trial

Small radiant or necrotic damage aura that one-shots those 1hp critters.

I remember Jaheira from BG1. She was a powerful character, but if you wanted her in your party you had to take her husband Khalid, and he was a useless fighter with bad stats. Even if he died, you had to drag his corpse around, or she would leave too. There is only one way around it - if you walked him into a puddle of green slime, it eats him, and leaves no body, so you can keep Jahiera and take someone else in the party instead of Khalid.
...Man, old games were just built different.

Dude, you somehow dodged a glitch that would have locked you out of Karlach's romance. Normally you have to take multiple long rests BEFORE giving her the second upgrade to clear out all the camp events so that hers doesn't get skipped. My first run I literally never got her scene, and once I hit part 3 she broke up with me because she thought I lost interest.

Food's pretty plentiful on non-Tactitian difficulty, but in case anyone didn't know, if you need to long rest multiple times in a row to see camp cutscenes, you can just "partial rest" with no supplies for the subsequent ones and you'll still get the cutscenes. 🙂

Bards can really do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
Also there is no bard ally… I hope if there is a DLC that they add new allies.
(If possible a Kobold draconic Sorcerer, Goblin Arteficer and Warforged Monk.
That way the rooster would be complete.)
Well apparently in earlier versions of BG3 there was originally going to a be a halfling bard companion named Helia who was secretly a werewolf. It would have been interesting having both a vampire and a werewolf in the party.

@@ColossalSchnoz I am DISTRAUGHT. I have a werewolf halfling in my personal D&D game and I love her to bits. I feel deeply robbed knowing what could have been.
@@Starfloofle Yeah It sucks she got cut out of the final release, especially considering that:
1. She would have been voiced by the same woman who played Sera in Dragon Age Inquisition (not sure if this is entirely true but they DO sound so similar).
2. There's still a hefty chunk of voice lines done for her in the game (you can find a video that showcases all of them on YT).
3. Her being a werewolf would have made for some funny interactions with Astarion...you know with him being a vampire and all (It would have been hilarious if they threw a Twilight reference in their interactions).
Maybe Larian could add her in an expansion or definitive version of the game in the future.

The same thing happened to me with Karlach, with events triggering one after another. Having to reject Wyll was like kicking a puppy holding a kitten.

9:18 "I've used 160 camp resources now" If all you want to is to progress cutscenes, you can just long rest without using resources (this is probably the kinda thing chat could have told you, but I don't know if they did because you have *very* strict backseating rules).
I remember getting Jaheira as a temporary companion (before she officially joins the party) for the ground floor tower fight and being completely shocked at her spell list. I don't know if this was patched, but when I played it, she knew exactly FOUR spells for that fight. Counting her singular cantrip. The hardest part about that fight was keeping her alive. I nearly had to resort to just keeping her entirely away from the action. Then I was disappointed to find that the game had given me ANOTHER Druid. So I retrained her into a Ranger, which seemed far more appropriate. I assume in BG1 she was a Druid, but she just gave off big Ranger energy IMO.
No, that is still the same...
But I basically skipped the fight by throwing the blast powder barrel from the underdark in and insta killing 70% of the enemys
She was a multiclass fighter druid

I always wondered why karkach needs to go to avernus when there is a perfectly hot plane of fire out there
I accidentally locked myself out of Wyll's dance scene. The two times he mentioned dancing in Act 1, my Tav was like: "...ok. I won't pry." And left it at that. Turns out, if I had wanted to see his dance, I should have really pressed the issue. Karlach's romance start was very obvious "I think you're hot." at the Tiefling party. I never clicked on that option, and the day after the party, it was gone.

i got the dance scene with my bard, my friend was howling in laughter cause i'm romancing Astarion and i was like 'WHY AM I GETTING WYLL'S ROMANCE SCENE!?' forgetting i had accidentally flirted with him back at the teifling party. my Ace ass saw the 'I would love to dance with you' line and went 'omg we can dance and become friends!' and i didn't realize that was the romance option lol. so i danced with Wyll and then turned him down gently and his face broke my heart. i'm sorry Wyll i'll romance you in another playthrough!

Mod, keep in mind game becomes laughably easy and performance goes to the drain. And game can break in few places so read the documentation.
