Your procrastinating champion host: Vexillographer
Most of those flags look amazing, but often the colours don't really fit together. The ones for Phobos and Deimos with the Greek letters for example are great, but the colours just don't match.

You should do a contest for redesigning the bad U.S. flags (aka all the states that just have a seal in the middle of blue or something) and if you want to maybe allow for us to change some of the bad territory flags like Guam or the Virgin Islands or...Guantanamo Bay

If you look at the Titan flag by Bud, if you tilt your head, you can sort of see a 2d image of Saturn

One really interesting thing about Ethan's Charon flag I just realized is that the heart could also refer to the fact that the discoverer actually chose the name Charon because it sounded like his wife's name, Char (although the symbolism was a big bonus.)

This is the video that got me into Vexillograohy, and heraldry, and Vexillographer, and the moons, andGeography in general which I used to dislike.
Carl's one (the first one) is bloody amazing! The symbolism and the unique colours are incredible, I didn't think anything new could be done with plain tricolours, but turns out it can! I want to spend billions on a moon colony now just so we can see that flag flying, please yes!
Estonia has probably the best design for a tricolor, with its design mimicking the winter landscape of the nation, with the clear blue sky, the black forests, and the undisturbed white snow.

I just noticed that at least three of Uranus’s moons are references to A Midsummer Nights Dream
For some reason, the circle with the three prongs on that one Triton flag reminds me of Sputnik

The unofficial Mars flag is awful.
It stands for what we could/will possibly do to mars. First it's red then we get plants and it's green then we get water

Well if no one is gonna say it, I actually like Mars' flag
To be fair, I like my design for Io (which was featured) more than the Europa and Triton flags I made. I loved how menacing it turned out, and is a pretty prominent feature in my other flags (to have interlaced triangles). Also, I didn't make the Charon flag, if anyone was wondering. That is another Ethan.

Yeah, that unofficial Mars flag has a hideous color scheme. There were some really cool Mars flag designs he showed briefly afterwards that incorporated red and the Mars symbol that I thought were much nicer.
The unofficial Mars flag has that contrast because of the Mars Trilogy, novels written by Kim Robinson Stanley that narrates a terraforming process of Mars, and each book has its name because of the stage of terraforming that is developed in that novel: Red Mars, Green Mars and Blue Mars. Those are pretty cool books, I totally recommend them!

That Triton flag has another meaning. The white shape also looks like the voyager spacecraft which made a close
pass by Triton on its way out of the Neptune system.

+Sarah Mechem, I didn't have a computer at the time, so I had to guesstimate the hex colors I wanted and give to Pete. A slightly brighter yellow would've been cool come to think of it, just ever so slightly. The exact colors I gave were gold (#FFC800) and deep orange (#FF5100).

1:19 there's another interpretation for me. I'm more of an astronomy guy so for me the red is lunar eclipse, the grey is the actual color of the Moon unfiltered by Earth's atmosphere and yellow is the apparent color of the Moon from Earth's surface

It's a shame more of the flags didn't work with the mythology. Europa could have had a woman on a bull, for instance, since that's how she was depicted in Greek art, and Ganymede could have referred to a cup, since he was Zeus's cupbearer. If I were to design a flag for Eris, it would, of course, have some sort of golden apple, or perhaps a shape reminiscent of a "K," for "Kallisti," "the prettiest one," which was written on her apple.A few problems with the Charon flags: 1. "Charon" doesn't start with a "c," it starts with a chi, at least in the Greek language it comes from. Since a chi looks like an "x," there could have been designs incorporating a saltire cross. 2. The boat in one of them looks like a Viking boat, not a Greek one. 3. The coin put in the mouths of the dead in Greece to pay Charon wasn't gold, it was silver. For Nyx, "Night", a cool flag would be all black.And while I'm talking about black, why so many flags with "black for space?" Would people have put black in a flag for the Earth, which is also, of course, in space?
At least for me, I chose black for space for the same reason Pacific islands often have blue for the ocean: it ties them together with the flags of their relatives. I figured that half of everybody would have black for space, but instead of thinking of it as a cliché to avoid, I thought of it as a flag family that I could add to.
One of the flags for Europa has Crete on it (which is where Zeus carried Europa in the myth), but yeah more mythological flags could have been good.

I just discovered this channel, I'm a fellow vexillology enthusiast. I also enjoy your enthusiasm, the way you geek out when seeing a good flag. Some critical points are the ponies in the background and your hairstyle straight from 1664... you're still young, in a couple of years you'll realise how your looks can change for the better. At least that's what happened for me. I'm just saying this because you have potential to become a heartthrob for instagram browsing girls.

Honestly, some of those designes are very complicated, they would be great for seals [flag seals] or maybe some ensignia. But for a flag, should be easy to recognize from a far, and something easy to create or illustrate, not purely blank or simple, but also not as complex and chaotic, also probably should have much text either.
One flag you said had to do with Aldebaran and i think this is why:
Aldebaran is a red giant and is the i think closest red giant to us and is the biggest star in a radius to the sun
You forgot 2016HO3, Earth's2nd orbiting object. It's a captured asteroid which is estimated to ahve been brought into a wide orbit aprox. 100 years ago but is so small and distant it was just discovered recently.
