Might I suggest attaching a strong magnet to the back of the remote so even if you forget it sitting on the truck/trailer it’s less likely to fall of and get lost or broken.
Emergency stop button on top of the lid would be a great master cutoff switch, anyone near the trailer can cut it in case of issues and gives you a solid power off. Putting in limit switches to automate the up and down would be cool AF!
Dimond c needs to take notes on lighting and this wireless remote system. The simple lighting will separate them from the rest! Should be the industry standard for trailers atleast for safety!
It would be pretty cool to wire some of the work lights to that "remote active" output. It'll turn your lights on automatically when you're working in the dark, and it'll give you an indication that your remote is (still) active. You should be able to wire that in a way where you can also turn those lights on with the other remote for when you're not dumping. Also, about forgetting the remote, you should be able to stick some big flat magnets to the rear of the remote, inside the rubber cover. I'm not sure how much you'd want that though, since (I think) you Americans still use the magnetic strip on credit cards?
I think what serg was trying to explain at 17:20 is that Alternatinng Current has a different color code than Direct Current.. AC vs Detective Comics 👍🏾
Checkout magnetic, wireless cameras. Game changer for towing. Can easily watch what you tow, or behind the trailer for reversing. I charge the cameras and leave them on the rack in my van. The monitor stays on the dash or glove box.
Ok after seeing those streets, backyard and calling a retention pond with mud hens on it a “ great view” those homes sell for 350 all day in Nor Cal some in Sacto 450-500! I am not sure those streets would pass where I am in anywhere except maybe a ghetto area? Now I know why I never entertained moving South! No offense but w/ o our water let’s face it most if not all those neighborhoods? Anyway I still love the videos and if you ever want to come North to make money , hunt, fish , make money, water ski , camp w/o 100,000 other campers around you come to NorCal !!!!
I do finish carpentry/ sub contractor in Nor Cal and I hv a lot of work but not so much contractors ? I will but hv work on my own ! Doing doors, cabinet add one some bathrooms ect.,. I am looking for a contractor up here in Sacramento region doing specs or customs ! I learn so much from those guys plus I am old school ( modern equipment & tools) but early everyday &, detail oriented. Working on tracts you work with lots of clowns & ppl w/ anger issues! Not TODAY!
Awesome! That's what I did on mine. I took it a step further and added an actuator to the spreader gate latch too. I have jack up/down, bed up/down, and spreader gate release.
Everyone saying Cali suck and is leaving they sure can’t build enough houses…. 5 seconds later this house is a million dollars and they dropped some money on this backyard… hahaha you could buy a 4500 sq ft house 20 acres and have money left over here in Knoxville our it’s surrounding counties… guess that’s why so many of them came here
No offense bro but building statics 10 years ago showed california like 8 million homes short. However, in the same time period california has lost hundreds of thousands per year even accounting for incoming numbers. California number grow because of no southern border. I would move to california if it had free speech and an actual 2nd amendment.
I was wondering why you didn't do a low voltage cutoff but I definitely understand the time constraints. Sergio is a BAMF !!! Happy belated birthday Sergio
The problem with low voltage cutoffs is you need to get the voltage back up for them to allow you to resume using your accessories. In a car with an alternator, this happens pretty quick, but on a trailer, drawing a tiny bit of power from the truck, it would take a long time for you to get power again.
So the one that becomes hot when you deactivate ems, you could mount a strobe light on top of you power box that tells you when your ready to use and not in ems. That would be cool and easy.
Way to go Ryan, Making it happen, you ROCK . That is a Sergio master piece nevermind the Noodle work, we love it. I'll be in town soon for a visit. Coooo Dat!!! 💪😆👍
My dad is the same way with directions and it drives me nuts. Or hell give me the address then try to give me directions like "bro, i have gps. I dont need your 30 min worth of directions that i wont use"
1. Happy Birthday Sergio! 2. When is the tow pig going to get some airbags/ Towing upgrades? 3. That 3 function remote with the spreader gate function would be $$$$
This remote works exactly like our $4000 40 ton bridge crane at my job. Our has two dolleys per bridge so extra options. Same lockout mechanism. Our lockout is removable if you've noticed. Do not lose. Pretty vool
You should think about investoing in a electric pallet jack. Either the one you ride on, or walk with but those things can move a bunch of weight with no issue. I think you would find a lot of uses you can use it for too to justigy it, especially if you get the one where you can ride on.
You should see about putting a magnet on the controller for two reasons, a you can just stick to the inside of trailer box preventing it from bouncing, but more importantly if you leave on the truck it'll probably stick to the truck preventing you from losing it
diamond c should take note of some nicer remotes. i bought a brand new fmax 212 with hydro dove and jacks and they gave me the shittiest little wireless remote with it, and with terrible range
I think you should push the red button when not using so if something presses the button when you are driving and not aware the trailer doesn’t dump . Or the tongue jack doesn’t come down.
so why not get another couple of connectors like for your wired remote, and make a Y for it, once side the wired remote, the other side the receiver for the wireless.
Good Remote we use the at our windtower company for our overhead cranes. Ours have survived 14 years in the rain, snow & dirt never let us down. Just make sure you turn it off or the batteries will die if left on...
Good Evening Ryan, in my neck of the woods it’s the season of narrow streets made even narrower by snow banks on each side. Also the mice are trying to make their way inside to get out of the cold and into our basements. 😀
Might I suggest attaching a strong magnet to the back of the remote so even if you forget it sitting on the truck/trailer it’s less likely to fall of and get lost or broken.
That’s a great idea!
Or just buy a AirTag and attach it with a keychain and use your phone but the magnet is a decent idea
@@clintmiller88 an AirTag won’t keep it from getting broken if it falls and gets ran over.
Sergio is a real one for staying after hours on his birthday
Happy birthday buddy grate job
Happy birthday, Sergio. Dude's a legend for figuring out how that all works. Electrical is a weak spot for me too.
HAHA! I knew this video was coming!! Good job Sergio!! Way to keep Ryno's wiring dreams alive!!
Great addition to the dump trailer !
Nice work Sergio and happy birthday. 👍
Sergio is always coming in clutch
sloHEXtted.
It's slotted HEX or HEX slotted. I'm dying at them Ryno pronouncing it. lol That's how I feel reading product names on Amazon.
Sergio's beard makes him look more distinguished! Happy Birthday Sergio!!
Why is people leaving a million dollar house in California in Texas maybe two or three hundred thousand for the same
Not true on the house $ price in tx
Yeah, totally dependent on WHERE in Texas. Anything within a 50 mile radius of a bigger city like San Antonio, Austin or Dallas, you’re paying for it.
But then you would have to live in Texas🤢 out here in Cali we drive to your states for our guns and bring them back that’s about it lol
Agree house on 20 acres I'm looking at is 490 k and house needs updated but tx is way better
@@cosanostra7377yea imagine living in cali tho 🤢 can’t even own a portable generator 😂
Emergency stop button on top of the lid would be a great master cutoff switch, anyone near the trailer can cut it in case of issues and gives you a solid power off. Putting in limit switches to automate the up and down would be cool AF!
I know the feeling of hurry up and dump, then get back to the weigh station. That remote is a game changer. Well done Chris... Uhhh, Sergio and Ryno!
You think the name could possibly be Slotted Hex?
That’s no fun!
slotted hex im pretty sure is the brand, the hex is centered in slotted? or some sort of variation like that.
My guess as well as HEX is uppercase and slotted is lowercase.
Dimond c needs to take notes on lighting and this wireless remote system. The simple lighting will separate them from the rest! Should be the industry standard for trailers atleast for safety!
Looks like slotted HEX to me
Or HEX slotted?

Beard looks great on Sergio, happy birthday!
What’s your plan with both the OBS fords now that you don’t drive them?
papa ryno gives west texas oil rig directions 😂 go straight when you see the cow hang a left and then a right at the tall dirt hill
If Sergio had a RUclips id watch it as much as I watch yours Rhino. Tell him to start a channel 😂
I’ve told him for years!
Just ordered that same remote and 100% going to try to figure out the tailgate actuator as well 👌👌
I think what serg was trying to explain at 17:20 is that Alternatinng Current has a different color code than Direct Current.. AC vs Detective Comics 👍🏾

Feliz cumpleanos Sergio! Desde San Antonio Tx. Ryno that’s gonna save you a lot of time bro! Nice!
I would add car magnets to the bottom of the remote so you can put it to your truck or on trailer. Good Job Sergio and Happy Birthday.
Let's go wireless!!
Happy Birthday Sergio...beard looks great on you
HEX Slotted💀💀
Happy belated bday Sergio! Up next Ryan will be back with the bigger remote and tailgate spreader actuator! 😂😂
Glue a super strong magnet to the back of the remote.

Just got a quote on a Diamond C trailer like yours only 16gvw they said you can't do remote for Jack and dump bed maybe I'll show them this video 😊

We use those remotes on our jetters range is 500' we can start the diesel engines. Work very well........still waiting on your upholstery guy # 👌

Million dollar 🤣, We call that “wealthy” here in Tennessee, easily a 200k or less house , For 1 million you can have 50-100 acres
And you didnt pull an Mj move..😂😂
Well done Sergio.
Get a magnetised case 3d printed.
Happy birthday Sergio ! you have the master of figuring how to make things work that are not made to work together.
Sergio blows my mind bro he’s too fuckin smart 😂😂😂 🇲🇽 💪🙏🏼
Buy a $29 AirTag and a keychain and put it on the remote assuming you have a iPhone that way if you lose it you can find it easily
Wireless setup for my led back up lights on my trailer
So the one that becomes hot when you deactivate ems, you could mount a strobe light on top of you power box that tells you when your ready to use and not in ems. That would be cool and easy.
I have the exact same wireless controller for my roll off dumpster truck. It’s been awesome so far!!
Happy Birthday Sergio
Happy Birthday Sergio!!!!
I just enjoyed you guys saying the name 😂 awesome asset to the trailer man, workforit smarter not harder
Slotted HEX? Awkward graphic design :)
great thing is that is just a generic crane one and looks like Teelodane is also the same one and says they have been around for some years.
I thought Sergio was a completely different person
Happy Birthday Sergio!
Hey Ryan,
Not sure but,
Slotted Hex.
💪😎👍
Can anybody tell me what size diode to use for tis setup?
Ryno thats deff a Magnetek knockoff but hey if it works send it
Nope I'm not confused, use diodes on the machines we build
Way to go Ryan, Making it happen, you ROCK .
That is a Sergio master piece nevermind the Noodle work, we love it.

Down need to be monetary because of the crush potenial
Sergio who? This new bearded fellow is way cooler!
Ever thought about Rhino lining your trailer bed?
My dad is the same way with directions and it drives me nuts. Or hell give me the address then try to give me directions like "bro, i have gps. I dont need your 30 min worth of directions that i wont use"
Hahaha yup!
1. Happy Birthday Sergio!
2. When is the tow pig going to get some airbags/ Towing upgrades?
3. That 3 function remote with the spreader gate function would be $$$$
Ryno
Motorized assist wheelbarrow Amazon $800. I'm definitely buying one before the next retaining wall I have to build in a backyard.
I believe Diamond c do have wireless controls
$100 plus $400 in labor 😂
Birthday discount!
Bet Sergio misses old school RadioShack where you could buy blank motherboard and build ur own circuits.
This remote works exactly like our $4000 40 ton bridge crane at my job. Our has two dolleys per bridge so extra options. Same lockout mechanism. Our lockout is removable if you've noticed. Do not lose. Pretty vool

Also...Sergio, you are a master of electrics and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Pretty sure it’s named “HEX slotted” if I’m playing on how the labeled looks
You should see about putting a magnet on the controller for two reasons, a you can just stick to the inside of trailer box preventing it from bouncing, but more importantly if you leave on the truck it'll probably stick to the truck preventing you from losing it
Sergio’s the man. I’m taking him my next truck! Los Angeles to San Diego. Worth it.
diamond c should take note of some nicer remotes. i bought a brand new fmax 212 with hydro dove and jacks and they gave me the shittiest little wireless remote with it, and with terrible range
Omg I just did steps at a house out of same block customer didn’t like the way it turned out color was a little off so I vanerd it with travertine
Ryno will ball out on everything besides a reliable work truck 😭😭
🤣🤣
Old sunglasses were awesome, new style terrible
I actually started a company making high end trailers with most the stuff you putt on this after the fact though current we only do flat beds
I think you should push the red button when not using so if something presses the button when you are driving and not aware the trailer doesn’t dump . Or the tongue jack doesn’t come down.
My idea would be to install a female connector on the wireless reciever side that plugs directly into the factory diamind C lead.
so why not get another couple of connectors like for your wired remote, and make a Y for it, once side the wired remote, the other side the receiver for the wireless.
15:43 ordering anything off Amazon “great price” “will see how long it last tho”😂😂
Good Remote we use the at our windtower company for our overhead cranes. Ours have survived 14 years in the rain, snow & dirt never let us down. Just make sure you turn it off or the batteries will die if left on...
I also 👍 like your diamond c trailer
An papa ryno he inspiring MR an Ryan is 💯 on his content 👏
👍
@dmaxryno put magnets on the back of the remote and it will stick to the side of the truck. If you leave it on the bed rail
I’m say it again u need a 3.0 duramax !!
Go to harbor freight and glue a magnet to it
Keep them coming buddy!
Hey Ryan put one of those gps tags on it in case you set it aways from the truck while working and forget where you put it
Good Evening Ryan, in my neck of the woods it’s the season of narrow streets made even narrower by snow banks on each side. Also the mice are trying to make their way inside to get out of the cold and into our basements. 😀
drop the 6.0 get a steal body 6.7
You would think the owner would’ve moved that Tesla over to the other side of the driveway.
We use a remote like that aswell, our control box drops power when you hit the estop, you may check to see if yours is the same!
My diamond c came with the remote for tilt and Jack not sure if was a dealer installed thing but its great
Glue a big magnet to the back of the remote so it wont get lost, and you can mount it on anything metal.
You need to hit TJ hunt up about building his garage for his cars.
U need to collab with Demolition ranch man. Or goon squad bro
Happy birthday Sergio...
Happy birthday Sergio!
