@@Berm_BlasterI could be wrong, but I haven't seen a 6.7 swap yet that didn't involve cutting up a dash and swapping dashes. Dump truck needs something less invasive like an older 5.9 Cummins with a mechanical fuel pump. And I shout the praises of my 6.7 powerstroke.
Maybe you should put a lager solar panel on top of the box and also use the smaller solar panel too,

Yo Ryan I work with those tarp systems mostly on Dump Trucks and bigger trailers. If you don’t want to fiddle around with the side adjusters you can measure the distance it’s off to cause it to rack to one side then adjust the tarp on the front shaft to combat the rack, a temporary solution is to throw rags in it before you roll it The more rags you stack the closer it will be to even. Back in the day you either had to do one of those two things or replace the springs to get even tension. Those adjustable mounts are fairly new to market but can be a pain if they aren’t done right to start.
i was wondering why he didnt try to adjust it this video, maybe he needed the space in the shop or maybe it takes an extra hand and he didnt want to take up more of sergios time this round.
@@briancollins7296 you don’t really need an extra hand you just have to roll the tarp back to unload the tension pop the arm out of the crossover let the bow hit the ground un-bolt the pivot pin fiddle with the adjuster until he gets the tension even. Definitely time consuming though if you can’t look at it and have an idea of how many clicks he needs to go one way or another, a real rinse and repeat situation. (Ryan if you read this I would start at 3 clicks. Turn to the back to unload tension, towards the front shaft loads tension. You also might end having to do a click one way or another on the other side and most importantly you are going to want to start on the side you have to load tension to.) Probably be a title, thumbnail and a 5 to 10 minute clip in one of his daily vlog day in the life type videos or he’s waiting to fix it for when he replaces that crappy relay for his lighting system and making a video of all the repairs in one video.
The clocking probably adjusts the spring tension.
Finish reading the directions you might be able to repurpose those other options on the new remote to work the lights or other trailer features
If you use a deburring tool on holes you make in steel, or anything really, fishing wire becomes much easier. Handy little tool.
ive cut holes in so many materials my whole life and i never heard of a deburring tool until last year

A upgrade to the tarp system is definitely needed. I have had my trailer for 5 months and only use it a few times a month and the gearing in the handle has broken twice.
And it wouldn’t cost me a dime. You’ll know it’s me when I come through your town
Best way to keep your trailer battery charged would be to run heavy gauge wires from the alternator to the back of the truck to a separate connector, same concept they use for plow trucks.
Maybe shoulda put some grommets in those new holes to better protect the wires before you ran them through, but good job regardless!

@@DMAXRYNO well, you could always make bigger holes, and use larger grommets if ya need to (and/or more lube to help achieve the "penetration" that you desire 😅).
@@DMAXRYNO I hope you don't take this in a negative way, as a professional, when you point out issues with concrete, I don't always understand because I'm a sparky, but I trust your expertise, @newfization made a comment about using a deburring tool, it's absolutely not a must, and I doubt you did any real damage, but it sure would save the insulation on wiring if you have time in the future

Went with a buddy today to pick up his new Diamond C, first I've seen one up close like that. Probably the nicest trailer I've seen, and towed sweet. They certainly make a nice product. Got enough pocket space for all those remotes now? lol. Electric tarp mod is nice - hate the crank style ones myself.
Ryan, did you know they make special tools to knock the sharp edges off of the inside and outside of drilled holes ?
It will keep you from tearing off the insulation on the wires.
