It is safe to say that Ryno is the only person I enjoy being on YT for at this point. I can turn on the old vids and it’s much better than watching current tv shows.

we used to have a 74 f700 grain truck on the farm and we maxxxxxed it out quite often, brother in law would haul like 10-12 ton of gravel in it regularly the loads of dirt you are doing wont hurt that truck

Love the dump truck. I have a 65 F500
Irrigation guy here, when running new sections of mainline like you want to do up to that pergola, plumb in a ball valve everywhere you add a "tee". Use the ball valve as isolation valves. This will help when you have a leak in the future you will be able to turn off each section. Also will allow you to leave long sections off when you don't need water to certain areas. Isolation valves are your friend. And don't use gate valves, ball valves are better.

You should definitely try and shift some of the draining on the property to the hole there. It might give the road a break from all the water

I hate those fuel cans too and the only way to take off the top is if you’ve got a funnel because of the cap less tanks that have to be pushed in.
To address your splitter when you shift , you should be able to just lift off of the accelerator then shift and then apply the accelerator once the shift has completed. I used to haul pre fabbed steel structures with an. F 600 mid nineties model as well as tools and welders like the ones James recently picked up.
That seat came out sick, im not one to speak but looking at the floors of the truck maybe a truck bed lining on the floors, even just a roll on to be the next upgrade
You oughta grab one of those little electric transfer pumps from harbor freight and use it with those cans! Makes it way easier!

I drove a water truck that had a browny in it which is three stick shifts. and that was tough. also had no power steering.

Proper way to exit tractor is raise the steering wheel to vertical position, but had you bought an american made tractor there wouldnt be a shifter in the way

Love the new seat for the 1960's Ford, it matches perfectly the asthetic for the vehicle. And maybe I have looked at too many old project vehicles because that seat didn't look that odd to me. But then again I always tell people I was around for all of the 60's even if the first 9 months were in utero. Also, a new Ryno Ranch line would be sicc! I just ordered a new lanyard for work, can hardly wait!

The beauty of that truck is its simplicity. Fix what needs to be fixed, otherwise leave it alone. It’s lasted this long because of its originality.
If your substitute drains that well it is perfect for a retention pond, it will hold the storm surge and allow it to soak in slowly.

11:00 No spill cans truly don't spill, other than a residual drop from the spout after using it. it's not great for filling vehicles though since the spout is pretty small. For small engine stuff it's perfect. I've also heard good things about the surecan, but it seems like a more vulnerable design to me since it has more moving parts.

Sounds like you should invest in an above ground water storage tank and use collected rainwater to water whatever you need. Just need to maintain a filter at the bottom of the tank and probably an inline filter with whatever pump you would want to use, but that is my ideal setup for off-grid living. 1000 gallons or more would be ideal.
I bet you could make it happen to water the grass and not pull more water out of the well. Good luck brother!

I love that truck. Its got some good paint on it. Buff that baby out and ceramic coat it. Up and down shifting the 2 speed is different. Google how or find an old schooler to teach you. Slow shifting and driving is your friend on the old girls. She will out last you if you treat her right.
