Hey Ryno, I feel the urge to mention this, and I PRAY TO GOD you see this... Regular leather work boots won't do much against a venomous snake like rattle snakes. They may stop babies, but full-grown adults can pierce through your work boots before you even realize what happened... I lost a good friend because he thought his work boots were "snake proof." He was bitten by a cotton mouth while trying to refill a water truck for fiber optic drilling (horizontal drilling with a ditch witch). Snake chaps or boot covers are your best bet and best friend, and God forbid you or someone you know succumbs to a bite while working.
You need a 15’ brush hog. It would make mowing the property a million times easier and quicker. Its all we use out here in the midwest on farms and we’ll worth the investment. They will last you a lifetime if you maintain them well also.

Related to the allergies.. it’s said that if you take a 1-2Tbs of honey a day (that is local to where you live) it should help with allergies. I think it’s bc the bees take the pollen and make honey and consuming that helps build immunity. **read that a long time ago but it’s what I do and I rarely have any issues. Worth a try
I still think you should get a disk to put in some fire breaks around the perimeter. But idk sounds like the ground is pretty hard out there. But once you disk the ground pretty much doesn’t need mowing again until it’s time to disk again

Have you thought about about? Maybe trading in the grabber for a wood chipper attachment that might be a better solution for you out there or sell the grabber and get a wood chipper attachment. I saw there was one listed online.
I seen this one loader with what would be a mulch mill. It would go thru piles and piles of trees and making them absolutely nothing. That would and could help you prevent needing to burn. Safer but I’m sure it be an expensive attachment.

Rattle snakes are a very social creature and are known to roost together during hibernation. In other words, you may have a snake den on your property

@@DMAXRYNO I'm sure you get free tools and more publicity saying that. When everyone knows harbor freight will never come close to Milwaukee. And I'm not just saying that cause I like Milwaukee, will go for dewalt or any other brand. Harbor freight is a good tool for short term use
@@paulliquori4824 nope, they send me tools I already have Milwaukee versions of. I don’t need the free tools. They also have told me multiple times I don’t need to use or show the tools on video. They just wanted me to experience the new harbor freight quality. Get your hands on their new cordless Hercules tools and it will change your mind on them being the “short term use” tool brand we all used to see them as.

1:07 regarding your alergies, try this, this is an old serbian trick: buy honey (real honey, so you know bees were eating polen, not sugar water, so from someone you trus), and buy wild apple vinegar (it has to by whild apple, we buy this in our medical stores, pharmacies, here in Serbia). Every morning take a 0.2 L glass and fill it with warm water (not boiling, warm), put one table spoon of wild apple vinegar, and one spoon of real honey, mix it and drink it. Smell is not pleasant, taste is nothing to write home about but it is managable. After two weeks you will see results. But every step is important, warm water, real honey, wild apple winegar (maybe even drinking it in the morning is important, I don;t know, truth be told). This is how we lower our alergies sensitivity here. This is a recipe that was in my family for generations. I have another one, I will write it in the reply to this post
so, the other old remedy is for burns - you take onion, you smash it into a pulp, than you add (real) honey and make a pasta - put this over the burn. Don;t worry about the heat of the burned skin, this is just your blood in greater quantities, your body trying to repair the damage. Truth be told, I was so afraid to put that on a burn, they literary had to hold me, but it works :) Consult with your doctor, though, before using this one. The first one is just honey and wild apple vinegar in warm water, so no possible harm
