I definitely need to put one of these on my "new to me" '21 Ram 1500 midnight. Gray might look ok, otherwise I'll paint the hook matte black. Can't imagine putting all this work into upgrades on a leased truck. I suppose if you are just using them for product development.
Nice install, however, assume you realize that connecting the winch ground to the IBS terminal on the battery will potentially route 400+ amps through a Ram 1500 IBS designed for ~ 200 amps. This may work just fine until the winch is used in extreme conditions and the IBS module is damaged.
Truck really looks good with this kit! I did not get any instructions but, I am good at monkey see, monkey do. I should have cut the plastic just a bit larger, getting the winch lined up perfectly will save you from trying to align it when you have already installed the bumper. Trial fit the bumper first making sure you can get the front bolts to go in and catch the nuts before you tighten the bumper will save time.

Looking for a winch install kit for a 2500 5th get hemi. I know the power wagon has one. But no one has anything for non power wagon ram 2500s. Are you going to make a kit for then in the future? Great install video
Do you have any measurement info for us to cut out the plastic on the bumper? I don't want to cut out to much of the plastic or it not have the cut out in the wrong position.
@@David-ln8ut Hey there. For what it’s worth, after months of talking to various shops across the Rockies and 4 dealers, nobody seems to know, which makes me think likely not. Same with the new hybrid Tundras.
Way to skip the most important part... feeding the winch cable..... for people like me that will be the first time doing this its sucks that i had to watch such a detailed video that was grwt btw and just skip one of the most important parts
Sorry. Yeah I could have covered that better. But I try to cover my product in more detail and leave the instructions for someone else’s (Warn) up to them. But yes, I could have done it better. Sorry
