Can you do aerobatics in a Sonex Waiex

- Aerobatic Sonex flight. Aileron roll, 4 point roll, 8 point roll, loop, half cuban, spin. I'm no Sean Tucker and there is a lot of room for improvement but this was a great use of 5 gallons of gas!!!

Awesome videos! I have a friend that is developing an all electric powered, 2-place trainer. They are seriously looking at a Waiex B with try-cycle landing gear option and dual center sticks. From the looks of it, it appears they are looking in the right direction. Thanks for sharing!

Perhaps I should have asked if this vid is pretty faithful to real time vs having been sped up.
It seems a much more zippy rate than that of other sonex vids so I was also wondering if yours has the larger aileron option.

I've been holding off on touching up our polish job because I was afraid it would affect the aerobatic performance. I guess it should be ok!
Waiex 191 spins a lot better to the right than the left. Is yours like this at all? I notice your spin is to the left.

Jim trust you are will. I am from UK and thinking of buying a used Sonex Waiex from the USA and looking for someone who can inspect the plane for me before purchasing. If you can help and introduce someone who got Sonex Waiex building experience will be great thank you. Nice video

In all seriousness, the Sonex is one of my top contenders for plane choice, with a J3300.
Yes that's why the original owner of sonex died years ago while testing a sonex. Yep they're a great choice.😂
