The bottom one was my original radio but it received too much interference from the engine. I added one to the top of the aircraft and the interference was gone. I kept the bottom one to connect to my backup handheld radio (which I've never had to use).

I went to 11,500 and trued out at 150mph
If my local airport (7B2) had cute line girls in shorts, flight instruction would go way up!
