I got through the lockdown beautifully only because of my dishwasher and my washing machine. I'm not dependent on my helper anymore though I have one. Every home should have these two invaluable machines, along with a mixer grinder in the kitchen.
Addressing concerns over water and electricity consumption- Dishwasher has many cycles - some of them are eco friendly cycles - energy star ⭐️ .. they make take longer but use less electricity and water .. the dishwasher functions by heating water, rinsing them and creating steam that loosens the grease. My dishwasher user 10 litres of water and does and full heavy load.. by hand we use around 100 litres .. pls google and do some research and also there are go pro videos on RUclips showing the dishwasher cycle from setting the dishwasher to cleaning and drying

Also do one video on using separate cloth dryer along with washing machine. Today people still hang out clothes for drying in apartment balconies and that consumes space and also looks very ugly. Just look any apartment building in noon time and it looks like dhobi ghat. People are buying apartment worth crores so buying a seperate cloth dryer toh banta hain hee. It's good for balcony space saving and improves overall apartment look.
I have stayed in many Western countries without family and had used washing machines. It saves time. However back home for a 5 member family, I would need 3 cycles daily to complete all utensils gets dirty everyday. Most of our containers, hotpots etc are bigger as we cook too many items daily unlike the Europeans. So still need the maid and the volume of dishes she cleans in short time is amazing. Not blame her entirely if maid is not through enough, I see most of our kitchens are poorly designed for cleaning area. But machine would still be a good backup especially for costly and fragile plates. I would prefer to have a well engineered kitchen as first thing though. Food laced dishes left open for the whole night are open invitation to cockroaches.
I body a dishwasher in 2022 January and I agree with each and every thing stated by you. However, i must point out that those who do not have high pressure water supply should install a booster pump otherwise dishwasher will show E1 error

I chuckled out dishwasher from my kitchen during covid lockdown... reason is simple. - For a small family of 2-3 adults, like mine, I had to keep all the utensils stacked up in dishwasher from breakfast till dinner and then use it . For this, I needed more number of utensils and of course I had to first rinse them before placing in the dishwasher. - Salts / soaps which are used in dishwasher are worse than the normal vim soaps for environment. - Dishwasher consumes much lot of water than conventional cleaning. -. In short..... It depends upon a family s needs, lifestyle and resources whether dishwasher is better option or not. It comes out more expensive as its soaps, salts, upkeep etc are not pocket friendly. Other than it being bad for environment
@@mamathaguntupalli3124 thanks for this information but environmental issues are still there and I feel we should care about these issues sincerely otherwise human race will find it difficult to survive on earth in next 2-3 decades. Humans are not going to live on another planet so don't back on that.... Seriously 🙏
for a lower middle class family from a town area... dishwashers are expensive...bcoz their pricing is somewhere starting from 25k+ & then dishwasher detergent+electricity expenses+water... if someone is using solar energy system...then it values... otherwise expensive...
There are small dishwashers too with limited utensil capacity like- 8 place setting. I assume if you are living in a 1bhk, you are not a family of more than 4 or 5. On normal days, it will be enough to serve your needs. Thank you for thinking to make your life better. Cheers.

Hygiene is not compromised and all utensils are disinfected in every wash. 5. In approximately 12 - 14 months, the cost of dishwasher gets covered when one does not have to pay the maid. (In a metro city, utensils cleaning is Rs 2000 - 3000 on average.)
Kya dishwasher me steel utensils bhi dhulte hain?
@@sarveshsrivastava6459 Steel utensils are washed very nicely. They will sparkle and look new. No scratches are there due to steel wool scrub.

जय श्रीकृष्ण!!
Very useful and helpful video sir, thanks for sharing the insight.
I was in the US for 2 years and my experience with a dishwasher was awesome. I miss it so much now that i am back to India. And since i work my kitchen is managed by my MIL and cook amd bartan wali maids. I yearn for the time that i could run my own kitchen again. In the US my sink used to be spotless clean at all times of the day because i used to maintain it myself.
what's stopping you now?

Which dishwasher is best for Indian utensils, to all people using it?
As a male u r having so detail knowledge even females don't have....I have trained my maid in every aspect u discussed...she follows instructions...
Food laced dishes left open for the whole night are open invitation to cockroaches.
hamari maid bartan kam saaf karti hai, bartano pe haath saaf jyada karti hai
Thanks very much.
I body a dishwasher in 2022 January and I agree with each and every thing stated by you. However, i must point out that those who do not have high pressure water supply should install a booster pump otherwise dishwasher will show E1 error
Best decision in the life we took,by buying the dishwasher ,(no tention of the kamwali bai n her holidays when you actually never expect ) we can use it anytime even late night after finishing the dinner n in the morning we get sterilised clean chakachak utensils 🎉🎊 no smell no kichkich.
Which brand and cost plz mention

I am also using dishwasher from 10 years. It’s superb results, envt friendly too. So hygienic to have it.
Very True i am using this dishwasher 👍🏻👍🏻
How much it costs in electricity
Which brand
I bought a Dishwasher during lockdown, it cleans Indian utensils so nicely it looks brand new...it's unbelievable....But you need to use finish tablet
What is the cost of dish washer ? And the operating cost in terms of washing powder , electricity , maintenance etc ?
Which brand
I use Fortune Dishwasher Detergent in my IFB Dishwasher and am very happy with it. I think, it is economical compared to Finish tablet.
@@mithunmahato309 I purchased it for around 30k in 2019 (IFB brand). Overall Operating cost may be around 500 Rs per month. Major cost is of Electricity consumption(cannot measuer the exact cost of it for dishwasher). Apart from that Dishwasher detergent (1kg Fortune Dishwasher detergent for around 220Rs comes for 2-3 months atleast for a family of 3 and 1kg dishwasher salt for around 120 Rs comes 1-2 months).
use vim dishwasher tablet instead of finish. vim tablet is better than finish tablets
We purchased Bosch dishwasher in 2019 for my mummy still best decision to buy a appliance. No Stinky bartan no grease on bartan, Sparkling Clean And Germ Treated. And sink remains clean. The only thing is that we had to replace some of our aluminium utensils with steel ones but still it's worth it
U r divine sir... So blessed to hv been hearing u frm so long
Yes, i had a very smooth time in covid era with dishwasher. It helped me alot and saved my lot of time
Society needs people like you at every place. Khud ka desh ka sab ka uddhar ho jayega.because you are showing ways in all of your videos how to be live a peace ful life ,reduce bitterness. And when a in person is sweeter inside, makes the outer world also sweeter and not bitter.
U r doing a Great Work Sir....Keep it Up😊👍🏻
Wonderful vdo sir with ths topic only for middle class people like us 🙏🙏🙏👌plz keep going 👍
No need to pre rinse dishes, it is not required, only remove the leftovers
Exactly - bad for environment
@@mamathaguntupalli3124 thanks for this information but environmental issues are still there and I feel we should care about these issues sincerely otherwise human race will find it difficult to survive on earth in next 2-3 decades.
Humans are not going to live on another planet so don't back on that.... Seriously 🙏
Can we not just replace the harsh unnatural dishwash soaps with homemade herbal cleaners ... 🤔
Like - a mix of lemon+salt or vinegar baking soda.. etc
for a lower middle class family from a town area...
dishwashers are expensive...bcoz their pricing is somewhere starting from 25k+ & then dishwasher detergent+electricity expenses+water...
if someone is using solar energy system...then it values...
otherwise expensive...
Dishwasher is a blessing I used it from 16 years and always thanks God for this invention
Kaun se god ko thanks dete ho aap 🙄.....insaan ne banaya hai aur credit god ko
Thank you for the information Sirji
D, Thak you Sir for this very useful video.
100% agree! Sir but what about kitchens which are very small for a a 1 bhk flat?
There are small dishwashers too with limited utensil capacity like- 8 place setting. I assume if you are living in a 1bhk, you are not a family of more than 4 or 5. On normal days, it will be enough to serve your needs. Thank you for thinking to make your life better.
Cheers.
I have kept mine under the stairs..a little walk from kitchen ..but still worth it

Sir my problem is a bit different....I stay in Mumbai. Every square feet at a premium. No place in kitchen to install a dishwasher.... 😀. Most of what u said about how maids wash dishes is perfectly true.
