- In this video I'll guide you through combining One Deck Dungeon and One Deck Dungeon: Forest of Shadows so you can play with both games at the same time.
One Deck Dungeon is a card game "roguelike" - a dungeon delve that is different every time, difficult to survive, with a character you build up from scratch. The deck consists of various foes to combat and other perils from the dungeon. Each card depicts both the obstacle to overcome and the potential rewards for doing so. When you defeat a card, you claim it as either experience, an item, or a skill, tucking it under the appropriate side of your character card to show its benefits. The longer you take exploring the dungeon, the deeper you'll delve, and the difficulty will scale up quickly! If you make it far enough, you'll have to fight the dungeon boss. Survive, and you'll be a legend!

You're a champion. Thanks for this great video.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
10:00 I have the ODD cards in my FOS box. I replace one ODD card with the remaining FOS deck after a win.
Also suggest to print out the fan based dungeons.
And get rid of the ziplocks asap ;-)
Yeah, for now I'm keeping the ziplocks, so the tokens are kept in place. But it's all still a work in progress.
@@SirThecos I recommend to make the I in the T-shaped inlay a bit lower that makes taking out the components easier, and you can store more. And the outer box you should overlay with felt so it can serve as a dice tray. I made a video I could point unless you disabled urls in comments ofc.
No, I haven't - feel free to post that URL or, even better, post it on my Discord server! Then, more people can see it. ☺️
You'll find all important links in the video descriptions - I'd be looking forward to welcoming you on my Discord server! 😁
what is the fan based dungeons ? never heard about that
Love this!
Don't forgot, if you want it all in one box, you need the poison tokens too.
I put one deck on one side, the basic skills, and dice on one side, the other deck, dungeons, and tokens on the other side, and the characters and Fiends lay on top. I have an app that replaces the campaign sheet so I leave those and the instructions out of the box.
@@sonicking91784 Yeah, that's an option as well! I personally just like to have everything necessary in the box. But your approach makes it easier to actually close the box. 😅
If you wanted too could you combine both of the decks together to make a big deck instead of making it two half’s to make it the normal size deck could you make it absolutely massive to have more fun and make it take more time to finish?
I don't think so since you would level up too much and become too strong the more time you have before the boss. The game might become longer but wildly unbalanced. 😅
But it's an interesting idea!
@@SirThecos Couldn't you make it so that every time you have to discard or flip a card you move a second one to the discard pile? That way you're going through the deck twice as fast so having twice as many cards would not matter.
If you put them together, doesn't that make the game 2 deck dungeon?
Haha! 😆 No, you just use one of the halves then.
@@SirThecos THD Two halves Dungeon
@@kosterix123 😅
Can a game ONLY consist of 1 deck of cards? So I can't combine both decks that HAVE TO be 44 cards?
You need to keep the deck the intended size, because this determines when you descend to the next level. 🤓
I dont have any, wich one do you recomend?
Both are very similar and both are good. I like the sequel (Forest of Shadows) a bit more since it adds the poison mechanism which is quite interesting.
