This is an excellent presentation, in fact, it illustrates that, with a bit of imagination (‘the rope bridge broke behind her’), the game becomes a true dungeon delve and not a ‘dice puzzle’, as some have commented in other places. Thanks for your efforts.
This has been extremely informative and helpful! I do have a question about the Moss Golem encounter around the 30 minute mark. You had used the Druid's Transformation for the two Strength dice, but should you have had two more from the Druid herself, too?
Thank you :) Good catch. You are 100% correct. I should have rolled 4 strength dice in total for that encounter. Don't know how I missed that, and you're the first person to notice it as well. So basically burned 3 time for no good reason as it turns out... oops. Thank you for pointing that out. Hopefully others will see your comment.
It'll be my first foray into dungeon delving games. I'll learn it in solo mode then try n challenge a few buds. What would you recommend? Or maybe you have another suggestion?
If you want something super light and casual you could look at Dungeon Roll. And then for something on the other end of the scale, Tiny Epic Dungeons is a lot of fun once you wrap your head around all the icons. I have videos for both on the channel :)
That is strange. I know Caliana is listed as a promo on BGG. Perhaps they added her to the first print run or something like that. I bought this copy several years ago. My apologies if that wasn’t made clear in the video.
Galiana was included in my copy too. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on how clear and systematized the tutorial is. It has been a great help to me.
Really??? 2:45 "Refreshing change from your typical dungeon crawler where everything's just brawny beefy muscular men" I have tiny epic dungeons. I have descent. I have dungeon and dragons, I have hero quest. And in each, their are strong female characters. What a shame. I liked your video on tiny epic. But This starts as a joke. What a shame and disrespectful towards the other games. Your statement is off, ridiculous not true and clearly their to push a certain political agenda. What a shame indeed.
Thank you for this feedback. In hindsight that was indeed an unfair statement to cast on all the other dungeon crawlers out there. As I have played more games in the genre I have seen precisely what you point out with strong female characters being represented in a lot of them. What made this particular game stand out to me was that it contains only female characters which I have not seen elsewhere (although I'm sure there are other games that have done the same that I'm not aware of) I'm glad you enjoyed the Tiny Epic video :) Thank you for letting me know, and bringing this to my awareness. I shall certainly be more careful about making such broad generalising statements in the future. This kind of constructive criticism is very helpful to make my videos better going forward :)
@@ThatBoardGameShow I'm happy that you recognise your mistake. And I'm glad because your videos are pretty good. The way you explain etc. on point. Although yes it's only females it really does NOT stand out. You can play other dungeon crawlers and pick only female characters. Therefore making your statement really bad. In general you don't have to put modern day political agendas into a game. A game is a game for us to leave this reality of craziness and enter a world of fantasy where we can be whatever we want not compare it with modern day politics and personal view points. Plus your statement didn't even really make sense because of all the people you especially have played many dungeon crawler games. You should know better. Word of advice. Stick with what the game has to offer not what it might represent in which in this case has nothing to do with "typical muscular men" which does NOT exist in any case. Anyway glad I could help. Continue the good work.
Excellent! I like the sound effects. :)
Thank you 😊

A little imagination goes a long way to bring any game to life. I’m so glad that it came through clearly in the video :)
Glad I found this channel, very nice video and explains things perfectly! Keep up the good work
Thank you 😊
I’m so glad you found it helpful
brilliant tutorial thanks
You're welcome!

Thank you ☺️
I’m so glad you enjoyed it.
Hmm, can't decide whether to get this or paper dungeon!
It'll be my first foray into dungeon delving games. I'll learn it in solo mode then try n challenge a few buds. What would you recommend? Or maybe you have another suggestion?
The never ending struggle ;)
I haven’t played Paper Dungeon so sadly can’t provide a more useful comment.

Wait, i just bought forest of shadows, but there's no Caliana inside.
What?
That is strange.

I wholeheartedly agree.
Let’s leave the politics out of this wonderful hobby and enjoy it for the escape it offers from everyday life :)
Holly shit you sound like Elon Musk.
