    Preparing the fish in the kitchen was fascinating. Well done Matt, it looked so yummy. I am not a big fan of ginger, can I lessen the amount.

      Wow thank you that’s my favourite comment so far haha. Yes of course you can use less ginger and even no ginger at all if you really hate it. Thank you again

    In Newcastle NSW. I only know a couple of places snapper like that are caught. I am 82 years old and my fishing days are over. Unfortunately. The drone fishing was awesome.

      Oh cool that’s where most of my family are from on my dads side. Some good fishing around Coffs Harbour. I hope you have 1 more day of fishing in you at the very least 🙏🏻 God bless you my friend

    Your fishing rod is so different to what they use over here... Here we tend to have a belt with a recess for the butt and then the bit that sticks past the reel is very short. This way you can just but the butt in the belt when you need to reel in and the end of the rod sits at your belt level.

    Hey, what is the model of your drone? I fished there a few times and caught a huge Kahawai. What is the best bait to use at marsden point beach?

    • @D-GAF
      @D-GAF  7 месяцев назад

      Dji phantom 4pro
      I use any bait but prefer kahawai or mullet as it stays on the hook the best

    What fishing line do you use bro? Lbs and type

    • @D-GAF
      @D-GAF  5 месяцев назад

      Two two rods are set up with different line. 1 being 45lb 8 strand braid that I bought 1000 meters of for about $60 from some website. The other is my favourite braid which is Shimano Kairiki 8 strand and on this set up I’ve got 50lb. 50lb is overkill but it’s a reel I used to use reef fishing in Australia. Off the beaches here you could easily use 30lb and not have many of any issues.
