Vinland Saga

An anime review on Vinland Saga. Season 2 is absolutely phenomenal right now, and made me reminisce about how Thorfinn, Canute, Thorkell and most importantly Askeladd, along with the greater narrative have made for such a great story thus far.

Season 2 of Vinland Saga has been so good as well. Honestly didn't really know what to expect, as I heard season 2 would be way different than the first. Happy to say I haven't been disappointed.

Vinland saga is about the last good medieval themed anime I haven’t watched. and for that singular reason I have been putting off watching it because once I do there’s nothing left but mid tier isekai in the genre.

Medieval-themed anime are for sure a niche genre. Hoping that Vinland Saga's success spurs on the creation of even more shows/manga like it... but Isekai sells like hot cakes, so we'll see :P
