hahah I was really happy to find a trampoline park for kids, an hour from where i live. it REALLY helped me learn. I tried tamedog and wildcats, and practiced for 3 hours until i got it. so now i can do it in theory, but it sure helpe ALOT to build muscle memory as to how my body automatically knows now how to land straight on the board as well as getting used to air awareness, the rotation etc. I tried first time on snow several times resulting in broken stuff
im a complete bitch at jumping but in foampits, even I dare to do a rodeo, having no idea whats happening in the air. its amazing! absolutely perfect for learning.
The flip at 4:09 looks sweet. You stay in the rotation, your toes never point forward. The other flips seems like you opened up to 90°, then turned back into it.
Freeze frame 8:22 ....yeh just hangn here for a mo. Ha! Great vid. Love where North America has taken this sport. So professional and well supported, with dudes like you advising on next level stuff via the internet. The dream from where i started in it 25 years ago.
This videos where we can follow your progress learning a new trick is the best. If you do tutorials on tricks you already know you could bring a guest who is learning it for the first time. That make it much more acheivable for us viewers in my oppinion.
Last year your tamedog video motivated me to learn it and I have a video on my channel learning that , I still need to learn but the season is over here, but I’ll get it clean next season . And this backflip is crazy man , good job TJ :) I’ll definitely hit the trampoline and learn it :)
There ain't enough room on this mountain for two snowboardin' "TJ"s. You know what you must do TJ #1... make TJ #2 disappear. Actually, wait, the resorts there are pretty big. Nevrermind, you guys can coexist. This was really radical, by the way. You are two courageous TJs for sure.
Wow nice work. The way you fell on the first attempt made me jealous - if I fall backwards like that I’d probably pop both shoulders out at once. Makes it basically impossible to commit to anything.
Trying that for the first time must be scary hehe Now that you got it Im hoping for another vid with some improvements like getting your knees to your chest and maybe going for the grab as well hehe Keep those tricks coming!!
I’ve been told by gymnasts that you don’t through your head and shoulders back... bringing your knees close to your chest initiates the rotation and gives you the momentum you need to complete the rotation.
YO TJ and Kevin! We ReQuIRe a POW specific board list. As in like your favorite swallowtails and POW specifics, not freeride boards. I know a few cool boards but I need some help choosing a sick rig to shred some POWPOW. Thanks guys!
I have a foam pitat my local skatepark. thinking about building my own rollerboard! I could see myself over rotating like tj, im just gonna go for a doublle if that happens!
If I had a facility like this I know I’d be good at snowboarding We have nothing really in my area I get like an holiday a year ( if I’m lucky ) And some how can do blacks and 360s etc
Kevin, TJ and Chris, would you guys ever come shredding at the Chillfactore Manchester, UK. It is the longest and largest indoor slope in the UK. I saw your video of when you went to the snow centre in the UK, chillfactore is better by miles and double size.
"that's all it takes guys, confidence, commitment, spot the landing.... and a 10 million dollar state of the art foam pit/trampoline facility"
Or just full send and just do it till u land 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I died of laughter from this comment like yeah sure I’ll go to my local snowboarding practice facility

@@Ryderdoesit that’s what I did and ate shit a couple times but I got it now 😂
just send it into powder and youll be fine bro
that ramp into the foam pit looks like tons of fun
@@ColeMeger why not now because the weather doesn't affect it anyway
@@JeRzUx He means outside of snow season aka off season.
im a complete bitch at jumping but in foampits, even I dare to do a rodeo, having no idea whats happening in the air. its amazing! absolutely perfect for learning.
I'm convinced this video is a metaphor for life
i wish i had a foam paradise to practice this shit.
im a year late but, make a jump into deep powder it is heavenly to fall in and you can go straight to snow with ur tricks
@@Chemistry-uh2gj +1. Two years late here. Can't imagine why they didn't try this into powder first. Basically consequence-free.
that barn is literal heaven for riders
Sick man, i felt the tension building up before trying the backflip for the first time.. well done and respects guys!
This is a vid where you smash the like button while its loading.
Bro on that second flip it looked like you were gonna catch your front edge... I was so nervous lol
3BT
1 tj did more of a wildcat while the other TJ did a real backflip
Ok
Hell yeah TJ!
Bruh

- we're doing layout backflips.
- wildcats, got it.
Absolute legends. Hats off to both of you, love to get to that level one day!

That was siiiiiick! I wish we have a foam pit in Houston, Tx so I can practice jumping!
Basically TJ was doing a laid-out backflip and the other TJ was doing a wildcat.
Awesome! Now I wanna move to Colorado
Awesome 😊 crazy training facilities 😳 wish they where available in Scandinavia also
There’s DOME in gävle
we have one in trondheim
That was nerve-racking. Huge accomplishment to TJx2!
great perseverance TJ! could really tell this was the first time attempting a backflip ... AYYEE!!
Thiis is exactly the journey I'm on right now, without (sadly) the snow part to try it all out on (covid-locked). Great vid, keeping me inspired
I think my balls just shrunk watching that! Way to go TJ!
This was so beautiful! Gotta love the journey
That barn is such a cool spot. I need to find a place like that in WA state.
Way to go TJ! And TJ!
Mad adrenaline rush just watching you guys... send it!!
That is the coolest indoor gym I've ever seen!
Last year your tamedog video motivated me to learn it and I have a video on my channel learning that , I still need to learn but the season is over here, but I’ll get it clean next season .

I’ll definitely hit the trampoline and learn it :)
Did you get that tamedog?:d
@@Vanoturhai I tried, but I didn’t get a clean one😞 and never tried again ever since
The tutorial thats always the most requested in the live chats. Cant wait to see what tj does in austria!!!
stoked to see the hard work pay off!
I live in Quebec and I wish there was some place like wood ward because I’ll have to try it on tramp and then on snow
What a snow park, guys!!! Nice video🔥🔥
This inspired me to work on my Backflip now.
i got scared just watching that 😂
me too ;)
same
This is soo cool to see your whole progress. Good Job!
So pumped for this season
Yewwww what a awesome day!!
So sick!

Hey when we go snowboarding for our field trip, I’m trying this! You better not disappoint😂
Stoked for this season, gonna be practicing this at Sunshine in Alberta!
Me too man 🤣
ell yeah that was sick guys. would be sick if you could somehow catch your over rotation and tweak boned out indy before you land
Great job guys! Both TJ'S !!
Awesome watching you guys get that first flip in!!
That was sick guys, congrats!
Right on my dudes. Inverts are both scary and sick.
Sick TJ!!! It always feels f***ing amazing to land a super hard and scary trick, props.
Oh maaaannnnn awesome videoooo I was feeling the tension !!! I got so nervous!! Good job!!
Dude this is epic, my hands got sweaty while watching this. So hype, I really want to do this now. 😄
Bro such a productive 1 day!
Love this guys!! One of my bucket lists... Praise from MN !
Wow I got hyped for you guys! That was sick!!!
So sick! i like your version of the backflip over the other TJs way. it does look like it comes with a little more risk but its got styleee
You are awesome Tj hope you recover fast for Whistler opening
Wow nice work. The way you fell on the first attempt made me jealous - if I fall backwards like that I’d probably pop both shoulders out at once. Makes it basically impossible to commit to anything.
yo this gon be my first winter to snowboard i never skied before so iam gonna hit it
:)
Awesome! that was sweet TJ!
Man those training gyms look like so much fun
Woodward Copper helps so much!
Very nice, I always wondered what it's like to cross that line and how to go about it.
Sick footage; really clean
Great to see regular and goofy!
The last Phlip was awesome
Sick video TJ!
Trying that for the first time must be scary hehe Now that you got it Im hoping for another vid with some improvements like getting your knees to your chest and maybe going for the grab as well hehe Keep those tricks coming!!
Congratulations !!! from France!
I’ve been told by gymnasts that you don’t through your head and shoulders back... bringing your knees close to your chest initiates the rotation and gives you the momentum you need to complete the rotation.
yea exactly, i did gymnastics for like 10 years and that’s the main reason so many people struggle with it
Respect man!! I wanna learn a wildcat this year.
awesome! With your being very used to both pack and powder, besides the obvious pain difference...which one is actually harder to land?
Sick back flip bro!!!!
sick brah, congrats, now you'll be stomping them all over the place
WOW guys, congrats TJs
Sooooo sick! Love seeing the progression! \m/
Great job TJ!!! 🤘You got some serious 🏀🏀🏀🏀
Very sick guys. Impressive
Great video. Compliments to the TJs
The balls on these guys. Nice work fellas 👏. How was the head after that helmet hit?
Congrat’s !! TJ 🔥🍺🇲🇽🤗
I did my first back flip on snow yesterday
TJ #2 is kind of doing a wildcat.
Yeah he definitely threw more of a wildcat rotation
YO TJ and Kevin! We ReQuIRe a POW specific board list. As in like your favorite swallowtails and POW specifics, not freeride boards. I know a few cool boards but I need some help choosing a sick rig to shred some POWPOW. Thanks guys!
definitely!
Dudes so nervous for you guys watching that but absolute charged sick vid lads 👍💪✌️CHARGING
Damn that was sick. Killing it TJ
Wow zero dislikes and it totally deserves it great video guys!
My Heros! Great job!
Whoa great work TJ! I hope I can do it one day too, though it may take 100 years.
I’m literally shaking watching this video. I want this trick so bad.
You got me psyched to ride!!!! Your last name is officially Sendington 🤙🏽🤙🏽

When in trouble tuck for double my dude
@@Scav16 hahaha yes!
This was nice but when are we gonna get the Chris Eyres "Eye of the Tiger" rehab training montage video?
That was sick
Way to send it dude!
i never did a backflip on any occasion, i dont feel comfortable doing it but iv always wanted to do.. thx for the video
Have you learned or did one yet man?
If I had a facility like this I know I’d be good at snowboarding
We have nothing really in my area
I get like an holiday a year ( if I’m lucky )

It's more of a dropping of the chest to initiate the flip more than throwing your head.
I’m not here to learn how to backflip I’m here to see you do it
I like that old Sims board on the wall. First board I ever rode
that was awesome man!!! much respect
