To all the M1 MBA users out there! This is for us, we'll have to wait for the M3 MBA. Since our machines are still absolutely incredible, it is not worth upgrading for the M2. Let's save some bucks and don't waste it on a minor upgrade. For those who are using Intel Macbook please go and upgrade. ^_^

For those who are considering this color option but don't have the luxury of taking a look at it in a store, I would NOT call this blue. Most people would not look twice at this laptop because they will think it's just a regular black PC (and the Apple logo is barely visible). If you look REALLY closely, you might call this a gray-black, or light black. Only under a very precise set of lighting conditions will it look SLIGHTLY blue.
If you currently have the MacBook Air M1, it's not worth the upgrade and I would wait for the MacBook Air M3. If you're looking to purchase a new MacBook Air now and planning on keeping it for a few years, get the MacBook Air M2. It looks so good that you just want to keep using it.

Maybe one where you hold it on your side, next to your hip, like you hold a book when you are walking to class. And maybe another one holding it up against your chest like a 50’s girl waiting near her locker talking about her crush… hopefully this made sense. Thank you in advance.
I feel like Steve Jobs would've been uuuuuupset with that notch on the screen. A little disappointed it's not flush all the way across. 😕Great unboxing, Oliur. Really clean and thorough!
I have seen many videos saying the SSD’s are actually bad in the M2 and make it slower than expected? I love my M1 air, best Mac I ever purchased in 20 years. Hope you do an update to let us know if you think it is worth updating.
In 2022 256GB of storage is not enough for anyone beyond the basic users, especially at $1300. The off the shelf SKU with 512gb of storage is $1500, which is way too close to the much better MBP14 which can be found for $1800. 8GB of ram is also a concern for anyone beyond basic users in 2022. In addition in many use cases the M1 MBA is faster than the base M2 MBA. That ssd slows down so many related tasks and hurts the SOC in any workload that uses the storage. If M2 MBA was still $1000 I would feel differently but at $1300 the M2 MBA costs too much for what it is.
I’m in this position as well! Really tempted to downgrade, I don’t think I need the power of the 14 MBP and it’s quite heavy! But the screen on the MBP is amazing, there’s a small sacrifice there too if going down to the M2 MBA
