    The lady from Singapore did a great job!!!!!! I am so impressed when someone is bilingual or more! Makes me feel very not smart. I have a lot of respect for bilingual people. English is a very hard language to learn. So many weird rules or non-rules that we have! Great pronunciation!

    • @BlowtheRood
      @BlowtheRood 9 месяцев назад +7

      Hi Singapore's main language is english, we have our own local accent with slangs influenced from our mother tongues. Although our English is commonly referred to as Singlish, we are able to code switch when communicating in professional settings to more " proper english" for other english speakers to understand us better. Actually over here you can see she instinctively code switched on the word lavender after the american pronunciation.
      Languages take a lot of practice, as long as you start and keep at it im sure you'll be great at whichever language you want to learn too!💪
