@@HuyVu-vq7ldI can tell you for sure why- the white label means the 335 was built in the Gibson USA production factory and the orange label is built in the Gibson Custom Shop.
Great, extensive, enthusiastic review. I am on the hunt for a ‘59 reissue either VOS Custom or Murphy Lab. My Custom 335 from 2009 is wonderful but, after having played some real vintage models, I am set on a ‘59 for all the reasons you’ve articulated. I’ll even trade my mint PRS Custom 24 Artist Package 20th Anniversary if I find the right ‘59. Your video only reinforces my resolve. Thank you.
So, I got a Murphy Lab ‘59 335 with light aging and it is, as you have demonstrated, absolutely fantastic. Even better than I had hoped. So resonant, so translucent…
Listened a lot to this. My 335 sounds similar. But it lacks this initial attack yours has, both acoustic and electric. It's either a bit more muffled on the initial pick, or I my fingers are!
You are a joy to listen to….your enthusiasm and laugh is contagious.
Guitar looks and sounds spectacular!
I love the smell of an ES-335 in the morning! Nice playing Rolly cheers!! Beautiful guitar ❤ I have the ‘61 in cherry.
I've been saving up for this one and finally am getting ready to pull the trigger. Lagavulin baby !! Cheers to you
I love your reviews. I work at the Custom Shop. We appreciate the good words. 😊
can I ask, why I see some Custom shop 1959 ES-335 with white Gibson label on headstock, but some are orange, what's the differences? Thanks,

Love the overtone. All my guitars produce that though. Mostly evident on my strat

Amazing. How about the sound of this killer compared with es335 figured?
Which one do you prefer ? 59 or 64 for jazz ?
ES335 is a fat sounding instrument in the neck. In the bridge it's mayhem. How can you not love this?
