In Today's VLOG I get the RV Tow Dingy Geo Tracker 4x4 out of the transmission shop and take it four wheeling to the river with my friend Felix and Brother-in-Law Bill.
Do you want a CampervanKevin Sticker for your RV? It's EASY. Go to my RUclips Homepage. In picture header on bottom right is the link to click. Or simply send $5 to my paypal at CampervanKevin@aol.com Thanks CVK!
They took a drive down a dirt road. I was raised on a road like this. I can do this in any car.
I have a 4dr sidekick. I added a 3" suspension lift, 30" mud tires, snorkel, steel bumpers and a winch. I LOVE it! These are the best offroad bargains out there.
agreed! got pics to send? campervankevin@aol.com
Thanks for taking us four wheeling with you, I've always had a four wheel drive, wouldn't have it any other way, and yes, lockers make a big difference. Great video.
what a fun thing to do with friends on a gorgeous Spring day! Looking forward to seeing more adventures with you and your Tracker, and of course the Woof Pack!
ok, I will put it in with the rest of things to make vids about
Now this is what I call a good time! Nothing like a pretty day and some great wheels and a gorgeous river at your finger tips! I'm in Illinois and have to drive a couple of hours to get somewhere like this, but it's never disappointing! This was a fun one to watch for sure!
I am impressed. That little tracker is not hindered at all. With the new lift and shocks she wont be stopped!
So glad you were able to figure out the transmission. That saved you good there Kevin. Thanks for all the great vids. Cant wait to see ya head west again.
Wow, I'm totally impressed with the Tracker! I had no idea they were that tough! Very cool!
yep! thanks for watching us! and your comments!
Whew!! Initially I was cracking up watching you '4-wheelin' , as I was raised 4wheelin'Colorado rockies- GLAD you're 'rollin'in for the lift kit.Really changes limitations. ❤️to CVK &the Woof-pack!
yeah, u guys dont play out there. However for stock the lil tracker isn't too shabby. didn't want to tear anything up
Looks like a mighty fine place to go fishing!!!
very much so
Looks like a fun time Kevin, i loved the video!
thank u!
PS: please continue making this kind of video. it is fun to watch and I know that you enjoy it a whole bunch. Joyce
okdok
Boys and toys! Gotta love 'em!
if no toys what is the point?
I like when brother-in-law Bill is in a video. I'm always guaranteed to learn something with him. Bill is cool!
#AutomotiveGenious
Bill is a "real" genius. IQ off the charts.
That looks like fun! Boys and their toys. Glad you were able to save your money! I'd enjoy seeing more videos like this.
ok more to come
The river is beautiful! Next time like Bro-in-law said, fire and cook hotdogs! LOL!!
it wasn't a bad idea
That was entertaining and the river was beautiful.
LOVE the Tracker video. Keep them coming brother.
ok!
Awesome this looks like fun
Cool video Kevin..way cool on the trans !
Thanks Mr Paul!
I would love to find a honest mechanic ! You're blessed
95 Geo tracker here. Love it. It's an eye catcher for sure.
Looks like you're having a good time, Beautiful country,Good friends
Thanks Mike!
Nice to see an off-road video that isn’t a bunch of decked out rock crawlers great video guys.
Okay, once again, I find myself holding my breath that you don't get stuck!!! You guys and your toys!!!!! Thanks for the ride along. I miss the woof gang when they aren't in the video though.
Lots of things worse than getting stuck... like sitting around a not trying to find something fun to do on a wekend!
Oh there's always something fun to do. Especially if the weather cooperates.
That turned out to be a very good rig. Glad for you.
just the beginning
Good video you had me a little worried thought you were trying to go through the creek😳lots of good places to go here in Georgia 4&4 I'll see you know a couple ..good to see the truck is up and running
Enjoyed the trail ride. Look forward to seeing more.
that was FUN and that place was beautiful
Great video, lots of fun to watch, thanks! :)
glad u liked it
Enjoyed the off roading. Thank you.
Great reminder of why we love off reading so much. Nice shoutout o Calmini.
Tell everyone we send our love!
You think they will hear me?
Beautiful neck of the woods Kevin. Thank you.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Cant wait to see some camper and Tracker adventures all in one.
I dont camp much on ground, but never say never
Great 4x4 video Kevin...I see your other tracker have Wilson CB antenna...I still use CB in the VA mountains..no cell service..
I never used it much, but nice knowing it was there just in case.
Nice drive, I enjoyed it. Thank you my friend. Safe travels.
you have places like this over there?
I think I would be able to find places like that to. But would have to go to another part of Denmark. In the north Western part.
I enjoy seeing the places a little off the road that you can't get to via the rvs... Anywhere outside, just having fun works for me! Lucky little tracker, owned by Campervan Kevin!
hehe
😇
I Love the Geo Tracker!! Might have to get one to tow behind the bus :)
there still some good ones out there
Great little video Kevin.
I am very proud of this video. The lil Samsung Camera did a great job. Felix did great job filming for me too
What a great place for a picnic! This was fun!
I hope I find a million spots like this
Absolutely! Glad for the cheap fix! Found you fb but could not send friends request for reason unknown to myself...Have a blessed day!
You can join Campervan Kevin on Facebook by a simple click. No need for a friend request.
Awesome dude............
sounds great
Looks like fun. Felix did his own 4 wheelin!
two footed it
Thumbs up bro, good savings for sure. NEVER be in a hurry to spend money.
What a clean little vehicle! Looks too good to take out and beat up! 'Bout had a heart attack when you headed out into the river!
Oh no I wont abuse it, you will see !
I feel your pain on the lack of a locker in the rear diff. I had a jeep and I would get stuck going over obstacles that were higher than the ground clearance under the transmission. I traded it for a Dodge pickup with FWD that a positraction rear end. What a difference!
Great video as always Kevin, enjoyed your off road trip in the Suzuki, looking forward to you taking it out west.
still gonna be here a minute. Now that I know Tracker is good I am gonna do a major service to it. Parts ordered today.
Sweet little 4X4!
Great little truck and yes you need a sponsor to provide you the lift kit !!! that would be really neat love the videos Kevin keep them coming pal
I used to have an old, new at the time, Ford Bronco that had the hubs you had to get out and engage for four wheel drive. I think that was my favorite car. I didn't use it for off road, but lived in the Sierra mountains with all the snow. Thanks for sharing your off road adventures, but they sure make me nervous. Stay careful.
I like to go offroad, but I doubt getting any worse than this. No need to tear something up
WOW, thank you for showing how to go into 4 X 4 - I never saw that before! Now I know! ;) Right on! And yes, I am really frugal - I loved how you saved all that $$$$ cha ching!! LOL! Have a blessed day!
wasn't planned really..... just was filming and.........
Enjoyed the video Kevin. That Tracker sure is nice.I had a International Scout and i really enjoyed it.I had a problem in water because the distributor cap was on the bottom and it flooded out on me easy. Not sure why they put it there.I like these kind of videos and look forward to seeing you add to the Tracker.Have fun man and be safe my brother.
I had a go tucker before, nothing fancy about but goes everywhere, I'm gonna buy again
not fancy, but still more comfortable than a Suzuki Samurai
Look's like your having fun with the 'ol girl !
Glad it was an easy fix.
Pulling wheels off tomorrow for a better peek at brakes, front end and everything underneath. What ever she needs she gets. Then new everything under hood that I can replace easily.
Pretty area. Glad your trani was good.
me too!
Hope you get a 4x4 company to set you up! Many folks on the channel need info on good tow vehicles to explore the outback away from base camp
Kevin, That is a really clean machine! We hope to score some hard tops some day. We have a 94 Tracker & currently building a 98 Sidekick. Awesome rigs. Very light to tow, good mpg & excellent off road! If you make it out here (Idaho), we will have that beer & take you "trackin"!
Cool invite!
Looks like good ole Georgia country boy fun!
good stuff
Star Trek: "To boldly go, where no man has gone before"
Boys and their toys out enjoying the day 👍
with a camera and a youtube channel
Kevin Its good you keep your thumbs on the out side of the streering wheel. I had a 4x4 shop and i have driven the Rubicon several times. Happy Wheelln Pat
what's your opinion on swapping out this 3 speed for a manual trans? I can get it done for $1300 complete. could probably sale my trans to cover most of cost
I would rather have a stick than a auto my current rig is a 1970 Land Cruiser with a Chevy SM 420 granny low 4 truck speed works better for me off road. Pat
epic trail driving
Great road trip. Maybe combine that with a little chow cooking like Bill suggested to show the sites. I always enjoy the road less traveled!! Safe journeys.
good idea
Y'all boys in my neck of woods! About 75 miles south of where y'all are!! Good job videoing there Felix! Hey Eric! Good to see you here watching old Kevin! How's Jax?
Did you actually say "run it until it pukes." ROFL First time I've heard that. Another great video!Thank you for having fun and bringing everyone along!
I love Off-Roading! I would love Kayaking that river. Nice Tracker for sure.
people do it
awesome spot CVK
Enjoyed the scenery. Georgia is a great place once you leave the city.
tell me more about the cities, I don't ever go there! jk ;)
Ive always wanted a geo / chevy tracker 4x4 soft top auto !!!!
Awesome video! You should see if your welding buddy can make you a custom brush guard with a wench for the tracker
Hoping 4x4 / Offroad Companies will see my Tracker videos and step up to sponsor me on the channel. It is quite common they do it for advertisement of their products. I know several people who have had their cars done and they didn't even have a channel. They just drove to different events now and then.
good luck hope the jump on board!
$200 is way better then $2500.. glad he took a look at it and found the problem.. I think she is solid now.. peace and happy trails!
been ordering lots of new parts today for rest of Tracker now I know Trans is good
That's a little positive transmission Karma for you Kevin. Should have picked up a lighter knot while you were back there!! Looking forward to more 4x4 vids and the upcoming mods. Yall be safe.
this is great I love these
ok, more to follow
Looks like fun!
Yeah, we played all weekend in it.
great video their campervan Kevin. There was Geo Trackers and Suzuki Sidekicks are absolutely amazing. I had two of them a few years ago and wish I never got rid of him such a short wheel base you can damn near climb anything
I've had 4 Samurai's. This is my second Tracker. The Tracker can do everything a Samurai can, but has so much better road manners and power.
I hear you there I absolutely love my Suzuki Sidekick. It was a manual transmission 4 wheel drive 4 inch lift kit oversized tires that thing was a beast
wow brother Kevin I need a mechanic like that down here in Tucson at least I need to find one very honest man you're very lucky
He should have caught it in the first place before he told me it needed a new one, however it all worked out
I agree my friend
that's a neat little rice burner
it got me there AND back :)
Love the off road stuff! But I don't know about you but I'm ready for a road trip.
you know Kevin you should get your amatuer radio tech license. I think you'd enjoy the capabilities on your travels.
good idea
Flow master sounds great !!!
agreed!
Great little sure footed Geo bet she'll give you hours of fun. Kevin that cobalt blue tee shirt makes you look so young & healthy. That is a good color on you.
I really like it too. Got burned out on dontrunovermeyellow
Great toad! If I had one, it would surely be my toad...whew on the transmission!!
Matrix movie bullet miss
Great little off road rig, I would love to fine one in good shape.
They are still out there, but getting harder and harder to find nice ones.
This is a great addition to your videos! I can see it climbing mountains. Look forward to seeing it in action out west.
now I got trans in order, still got to stay here to get rest of Tracker up
The thing is, this ain't your first rodeo on trackers so you know what needs to be done. Look forward to seeing the finished product.
I really hope that you have fun time.
I am, and taking you with me.
Hi cool Bill 😎
Do you know of a good product that will take care of small scratches in auto paint? One that doesn't depend on matching the paint colour?
Not really, lots of stuff says it does.. but
looks like fun
yep!
Cool! Your off road gang is almost complete. You have got your wheelman, your cameraman, and your route guide/on board diagnostics. The only person you are missing is the fisherman/fire tender.
all but done. Woof Pack security and company
Looks like it did not take much to use up the available ground clearance. Not sure what a lift kit would cost , but a modest one would be of great advantage I would think. I used to offroad a lot when I was younger. Dont have an offroad vehicle anymore but it seems that most of the places I used to offroad at are now off limits. looking forward to more adventures with the Tracker. Congrats on the cheap fix!
yep, I was at the limits
More Tracker videos. My hubby wants one too. No he hasn't seen your yet but I told him you got one.
ha
Great video !
more like this?
Campervan Kevin absolutely ! It is a great switch up! Shows your activities other than hiking the scooter etc! It's one more added feature that is a lot of fun. Can't wait till you get out here to Arizona with that thing in the desert!
Campervan Kevin I believe a lot of your viewers will welcome videos on this! Who doesn't like off road adventures!?
Campervan Kevin Of course no off road vehicle is complete without a tool rack with a D handle shovel and an axe! LOL!!!
sweet deal with transmission. I never have that good luck. river road reminds me of going to the creek fishing with my daddy. except he didn't have 4 wheel drive, just an old beat up Dodge pickup with red primer paint.
ha!
Our prodical son has come home. Bear is a long haired Chihuahua. He was living with someone else, but they had to move and couldn't keep him. He's bigger than Tucker. Going to have a difficult time getting used to my Chewy

I enjoyed looking at Gods beautiful live painting with you and your friends. You are an inspiration for us all, thank you , God Bless
I really liked this video alot.
this would be a great ideal for like towing it behind the RV plus make it into a overlanding vehicle were you have a roof top tent or do like a ground tent with a cooler and maybe a do like a hot tent setup and camp in the winter have your RV were ever that is and explore for a few days just in the tracker
I love those little things. I did not realize how spoiled I am pushing a button for four wheel drive. I had an 80 Toyota pickup and those manual hubs were a (female dog) to lock. lol.
these are sooo smooth... knock on wood
I agree my friend
Ya made it yeah!!
that is as bad as I want to get. anything worse and things begin to break
actually those Goodyear wranglers are decent off road tires. had a set on a cherokee that I put through the ringer with them. it never stopped. cyotes took down a doe in my front yard one very early spring night it had rained a couple days and my yard was a muddy mess. cyotes ate a small quarter of the rear of the dear and i didnt want them coming back for the next few nights to finish the job so I tied off on the front of the deer to my cherokee and slid around and spun the whole way back about 200' into my field before I dropped it and spun and slid the whole way back but those goodyear wranglers got me through. short of a mud tire I wouldn't trade the wrangler tires for anything for off roading. Glad the trans was an easy fix. as always look forward to your future videos and thanks for all the time you put into making them.
I would have never picked them, but they are almost no miles on them and only 3 years old. Be crazy to replace them until I need to.
Won't towing the tracker with all 4 wheels on the ground put some extra wear on the fronts? Never talked with anyone that towed that way before. Assuming it would, probably wouldn't want too nice of tires anyway.
I noticed no wear pulling from Texas
