Also the 'Blank' packs are actually printed with UV ink there should be a small purple keychain light that you can use to see the ink, and the extra seeds in the case without a label are probably "Owl Pellets" which can be 1 off crosses that didnt make the cut to be sold as their own strain, and some old strains that havent been released in a while

The marathon og auto is comparable to some of the best ogs I’ve tried in my life. Up there with deadhead and sfv for sure. Also run autos at least 18/6 or 20/4 if you run 12/12 you might be disappointed
I’ve got 2 at about day 65 from seed. Insane looking! They’re both super dark, and frosty as any thing I’ve ever seen in my life. With a funky calyxy growth pattern. Really beautiful. Looking like 10-14 more days.. I’m a big nip hustle fan and always wanted to try the marathon. Daz breeding with it was a dream come true. So far they’re living up to all my hopes and then some

Yeah, but as long as you meet your DLI on 12/12, you can get the same results.This just means a high ppfd during that 12 hrs of light. Jeremy has mentioned that he was going to supplement with CO2 during some future grow. This would be the perfect time to do this. The CO2 would allow him to run a high ppfd, 1000+, and easily meet the needed DLi.

The Bruce Banner 3 I have dried 8 days and it's only been curing 1 day so far. The HIGHEST I have been in a long time from flower and it lasts a long time. It smells soooo sweet and dank, and it's very frosty even the fan leaves frosted on my pheno. The Pope Banner 3 would impress you as well, I think. Daz and his team ship EVERY package like this- I mean, yours was obviously stacked. They are hands down the best customer service in the entire game right now.

In short I think it would be interesting to do 2 because of the fact that you said you are going to open 2 packs. The reason being it would be cool to see if the plant characteristics between the two you choose are consistent to each other.

One problem I see with having the auto in the same tent with the photoperiod, is that when you flip you will affect not just the photo but also the auto. IMO you can get your autos to veg a bit longer, and thus get a better yield, by keeping it under a longer light cycle like 18-20 hours indefinitely, or at least until you are positive it's done setting buds. I haven't run them enough times to really prove this however. But just as a point of comparison, I've grown some autos that yielded 3 pounds *a plant* in DWC with CO2 and 20/4.
@@saintvicious05 have you grown many autoflowers? I've grown several 30 pound crops of them and I typically see a finishing time between 12 and 15 weeks. My autos finish taller and yield more than my photoperiods because I have no choice but to allow them to veg for the first 5-6 weeks. I'm not sure how BAS will do this experiment, but I imagine they will either run 12/12 the entire time, or run 18/6 for 4-6 weeks then flip to 12/12. Either way, the photos should be finishing around the same time as the autos unless any of the photos have flowering-resistant sativa genetics. With true sativas they will completely ignore the light cycle for the first month or two when starting from seed. With these timeframes, I hope they keep their plant count low. In a 10x10 with an X shaped walkway I'd expect to only fit 16 plants in there, with lots of pruning.
@@saintvicious05 I don't consider that to suck. A typical photoperiod plant will take 2-4 weeks of veg + 9 weeks of flower = 11-13 weeks. I expect/want my autos to finish in a similar time. I don't want to grow tiny sticks of bud I want large bushes of bud.

I just pulled over two pounds off 4 autos in the BAS take n bake. One came in at 482 grams by itself. Make sure you give them the space, don’t overthink training and start with the build a flower and craft blend as soon as you see the first pistil’s.

Daz is the man 🔥 he’s got some fire gear 💪 with those blank packs, you use the black light to read them but you should definitely run those strawberry milk & quookies 🤤 and one of the Bruce banner crosses cus he collabs with dark horse , one of the guys that carrys the true Bruce banner.

I’m growing the Purple Pope f2 and the Mango Isle at the moment. The Purple Pope is a big plant for an auto. I’m midway through flower on the Purple Pope. Night Owl seeds seem to be legit. I’ll looking forward to watching this series. And the blank packs need the black keychain light to see the name on the pack.
Definitely run 2 autos per earth box, we’ll get to see more of a representation of the genetics and it’ll fill out the space more, also most people I know who have/still do run autos use fairly small containers compared to photos so I feel like having less soil per plant will also be a closer representation of what people are most likely to do at home
Out of those I’d run Magic Marathon. Wizards apprentice is an auto version of an og Bodhi and Marathon might be the highest quality OG on the market. Grew the Marathon OG and it smells like a tire fire. Super potent stuff! But in all honesty you can’t go wrong with any of Daz’s gear. Can’t wait to see what you pop!!
Magic Marathon should have the fuel taste you love definitely run it. Daz's Cosmic Queen crosses are fire! Run Queens Banner to see how big an Auto can get in a full size Earth Box. I fill my 4x4 with two Earthboxes so don't even think of running two of Nightowl's genetics in a single EB. They are too big. If you ran a Magic Marathon in a full size EB and in an Earthbox Junior you can demonstrate how the limited soil stunts the plant in the Junior. I think you'll fill a quadrant with 2 fullsize and one Junior. Have your bamboo ready Jeremy these are big and branchy!

Jeremy I recommend only 1 auto per earthbox. You always say the more soil the better, so let those plants take over a full earthbox and see what they can do, don't short change them
This is going to be great. As for the strains, I haven't grown any of those so I don'y have an opinion. I'll vote for two plants in each Earth Box though. Thank you all involved for such amazingly good content over and over again. Learning a lot as I go through my first organic grow. Yeah, with autoflowers, lol.

It makes a lot of sense for you to grow photos... You can take clones of the plants you like... Some people don't have room for mother plants or even want to deal with that. For a lot of people, autoflowers make sense.

Excited to see how the autos come out. I’ve done Mephisto and Nite owl before and have loved em. I have a handful of packs from the Halloween drop last year and gonna start them soon to follow along. Maybe a Judy gemstone or cheech biggums. Those UV packs are sweet. Daz always sends bunch of cool stuff with drops.

I prefer photo period plants, but western Washington state has really short summers with a vary rainy fall! Photo period plants outdoors here often fall victim to bud rot! Autoflowers are a fun way to grow outdoors in a place with shorter summers
I really like the idea of just trying the autos and comparing them I think you should try the mango one and purple Bruce Banner and two plants per grow box love the content keep up the great work brother 👍👍
Daz is the man! I actually use to test for mephisto. Running 12/12 is a huge mistake with autos imo (I ran 24 hours but more like 18 direct with the rest indirect) but the bigger grow box should work great for 2 plants. I think the first 20 days after it breaks soil are the most crucial and after that is smooth sailing
I’m running a 100 plant geno hunt of autos right now, and I don’t want to straight give away my research but I’ll give you a hint: the night owl plants stand out. I see a lot of straight garbage in the room, but NO shows consistency and vigor.

hind sight is 20/20 but the after product of the milk and qookies looked amazing! those buds were insanely frosted and had amazing bag appeal.

Jeremy I recommend only 1 auto per earthbox. You always say the more soil the better, so let those plants take over a full earthbox and see what they can do, don't short change them

This is going to be great. As for the strains, I haven't grown any of those so I don'y have an opinion. I'll vote for two plants in each Earth Box though. Thank you all involved for such amazingly good content over and over again. Learning a lot as I go through my first organic grow. Yeah, with autoflowers, lol.
They also have an active subreddit separate of mephisto's gorgeous pictures and good reference points for you to pick a pack.
Daz used to be head breeder for them imo does it better.

Two plants in each earthbox, to show the soil level and feeding amount differences, more mounding! With all the seed you got, it would be cool to see 4 different autos, maybe 2 likeminded sativa breeds in 1 and 2 indies in the other. Either or however you do it will forever be entertaining and informational, thank you Jeremy and Buildasoil.

It makes a lot of sense for you to grow photos... You can take clones of the plants you like... Some people don't have room for mother plants or even want to deal with that. For a lot of people, autoflowers make sense.

I did a few auto runs and just recently set up a 4x4 bed indoors for autos only. I really enjoy them and the flavors they come with.💚🌈💚🌈

Excited to see how the autos come out. I’ve done Mephisto and Nite owl before and have loved em. I have a handful of packs from the Halloween drop last year and gonna start them soon to follow along. Maybe a Judy gemstone or cheech biggums. Those UV packs are sweet. Daz always sends bunch of cool stuff with drops.

The biggest advantage for growing auto flowers is light leaks. It brings newer growers to success and is a great stepping stone. Cheers

I've grown night owl seeds before. The best autos I know of. Also the blank packs have writing on it. Just use a black light

I prefer photo period plants, but western Washington state has really short summers with a vary rainy fall! Photo period plants outdoors here often fall victim to bud rot!
Autoflowers are a fun way to grow outdoors in a place with shorter summers

Do 2 autoflowers in One Earthbox, and then 1 in it's own Earthbox.
The queens banner is some of the best flower I've ever had flavor and high was amazing. I just grabbed a pack of them.

I ran purple pope from daz, it came out fire🔥 i'd go with the banner cross to start.
You need the little purple blacklight and that will tell you the strain
Daz is the man! I actually use to test for mephisto. Running 12/12 is a huge mistake with autos imo (I ran 24 hours but more like 18 direct with the rest indirect) but the bigger grow box should work great for 2 plants. I think the first 20 days after it breaks soil are the most crucial and after that is smooth sailing

I’m running a 100 plant geno hunt of autos right now, and I don’t want to straight give away my research but I’ll give you a hint: the night owl plants stand out. I see a lot of straight garbage in the room, but NO shows consistency and vigor.
