We are excited to be kicking off the first episode of this new season! This run we wanted to start from the very beginning and show you how to re moisten and reset the containers for the new grow.

You can throw them out and not even have to water it or come back but 1 time midflower to feed... 3 visit to each pot, 10 minutes in total labor for the entire 100 days from seed plant to trim... even guerrilla grows out in swampy areas, totally easy to do. That is, commercially, in labor about 10 bucks total expense for each jarred and trimmed ounce or so. Just need to use the right pure water and nutrients (like craft blend by jeremy). Efficiency is now king in the commercial game. Labor and expense costs are now the driving factor to lowering costs on farms, just like any other crop.... like any big industry it becomes a race to the bottom line.

My OCD has piqued, that organization at the beginning of your inputs just got me so excited. I even went out and got a shot glass with measures. I figure if you’re going all out and journaling, I better go all out and get to measuring properly too. Great to see wifey, a couple that grows together, grows closer together. I was thinking you should do ANOTHER 10x10 tent and dedicate it to Couts, and his genetics, projects and knowledge. I feel like his knowledge would be so accepted here and critical to our legacy, or how we can contribute to the legacy. Just a thought, we just should always have one part of our grows dedicated to supporting Elders, Originators, Farmers, which is exactly what you’re doing, in small dose. So thanks for that. I just feel like my life has completely changed since watching every video, that you’re really on to something, and I’m so grateful for the knowledge each and every day. You can’t have enough tents! Hahahaha Take care, your time is not wasted on me growbro!
Try using an air compressor air line and slowly and more air. I used to do it with homer buckets! That should separate the trays man! Keep on keeping on! Life's a garden dig it!

You could get a soil test for the Buildasoil re-amend just to see and maybe compare to the other and also have data points to compare for the next round if you got soil tests again
I always make sure the worms are safe, even when grabbing vermicompost for teas! I think Build A Soil is more than just a grow style, it is a way of life.
Organic is definitely a way of life, and BAS is a great place to get the stuff you need and learn to use it.

Yeah me too. But it is quite a tedious process to get them out, and time consuming. Just as you thought you got them all, you find another...

Whenever I have buckets or tubs stick together, I usually can get them apart with hydrostatic pressure from the water hose. Float em out.
Old oilfield trick... hope it helps save some fingers.

Absolutely good tip bout the oscillating fans. I try and tell everyone who’s using oscillating fans in the garden on poles to remove the grill and (reduces weight more air flow) when setting em up fix them so they are pointed straight on and not having the head tilted downwards. The gears going out is the biggest reason why people have such trouble with oscillating clip fans.
A couple do’s and don’ts and one can really extend the life of thier fans exponentially.
AC infinity has a great one but they are sold out every time I check. They are going to sell a bundle tent fans etc. soon.
Jeremy Thank You! Dude really?. Nice work, I've never known how wonderful Organic growing could be. I've tried but not even close to this .If you could ever find the time to write one book on one grow and (Coot). I think you could give Tesla A run for his money.The earth Box looks pretty nice but the way you did the 3'x3' with I think it was take and bake soil? after you put in the work, I was amazed how it just cruised along. Would like to see you do a 3'x3' with the um six plant's and 3 week veg or however many plant's you would use. So we could all see what a great advantage that would be in terms of yield and quality.Sorry I've been watching you so long I just talk talk and talk.I'll save some for later just wanted to say Thanks✌
Thanks so much for your videos (I have watched most of them) and for sharing so much of what you have learned along the way! I was skiing Telluride on Valentine's day as you were posting this episode and it was SO tempting to change clothes and drive into Montrose to see your farm. Somewhat Serendipitously... I had stopped into Rehm's Nursery in Albuquerque last week to get some soil and found BuildASoil products on their shelves! Thanks! I was not expecting that at all! For those White tub stuck use air gun gently between both of them they Will separate easy.
I use one of those kiddy pools to mix my soil, works great.

Super stoked to see the documentation process; I've always struggled to find an appropriate journaling format so I'm curious to see how the pros do it.
I actually don't keep track of grow weeks or names of seeds. Just make sure soil is healthy and trichomes are milky. You don't want to burn out doing to much

I always like your vids on th way in guys.i already know it's gonna b full of great info.i don't always comment,but I've watched every vid since u started th ten by ten series on utube.ive found great information,great products,and a laid out dang near fool proof recipe guide and step by step instructions on "how to use".tyvm for all that u guys do to educate us lil guys that live where seeing a grow,of any size,isn't an everyday occurrence.

Can't wait to see the seeds hit the soil!!! I think the beginning and the end of the grow are the most exciting. Like the first two weeks and the last two weeks, because they are the most crucial steps to a successful grow. Of course you have to stay on top of your routine plant care in the middle as well, that part is just less exciting.
That's cuz the 1st 2 weeks ur starting ur smoke the last 2 weeks ur almost at the dry and smoke stage the middle/veg is all hurry up and wait..
Break the vacuum between the two trays and they will fall apart. Sacrifice one with a tiny hole, if you have hydro supplies make It a size you can plug or make into drain tube. It Works great with 5 gallon buckets too.
why would you make a hole? just use compressed air on the gap
The journal idea is incredible. Seeing that journal at the end of the series is going to be huge!

Got the 100g grassroot and just haven't made the move to add worms. Kinda afraid of getting them from just anyone and have problems. Also, a bit afraid of getting rove beetles and other critters due to the same reason as the worms. I have a local place that has red worms but I just haven't pulled the plug. Just finished with Sith Holiday Brulee from AWKID and the first 2 beans were male and female so I lucked out and bred they for my F2 beans. SUPER PUMPED. Got their BRR and Fire on the Mountain going now and can't wait for a male and female. Thanks for this including the new veggie tent, that's going to be BOMB!!!!
Typical all beneficials in castings..rove beetles are good .. isopods can suck but other than those I wouldn't worry.. prolly get some stratio S in there also all good
Try Uncle Jim's worm farm. They guarantee a live delivery. I purchased a batch. They showed up dead? I emailed the customer service and 24 hours later a new batch of worms were on the way. And man! The new batch was like 500 worms.
( I ordered the 250 batch) they were very active. Super happy with the results!

I think you could cut the outside tray off with tin snips pretty easily. It would probably get gross in between the 2 over time
Jeremy am I understanding this right your going to have autos an photos both in the 10x10? what about when you flip the photos are the autos getting moved to a veg tent?

I think a pot with a built in scale would help in knowing how much to water maybe.
I already tried to implement that, and it does not work, because when things are going well the plant itself always weighs more than it did yesterday. I thought it was brilliantly simple idea, but it did not pass first round of testing.

I think the same way you do and go about doing the same type of detailed steps in my grows. I'm always looking to do tests and switch up my methods . You doing this and documenting it is like having someone else do the research and work for me !!! It's amazing man!!! It's saving me so much time and money by not having to guess or wait!! Can't wait to see how this season goes, especially with the new veggie tent. I never thought about using a pond liner in place of the hard plastic liner for the runoff from watering. Great idea for a custom size on the cheap.

I am so excited for this grow, it will be the first time I haven't had to go back and watch the previous videos just to catch up! Every time I get to thinking this is rocket science you bring me back to reality! Thanks for being so detailed, right down to cleaning the fans. There are a lot of new growers out there that don't get their plans down before they start, leading to frustrations and maybe giving up. I want everyone to realize that we all make mistakes due to a variety of reasons. By growing along with you they can learn from someone that's like your favorite college professor that is also a close friend! And for free! Thanks for improving our world, we need more people who will take care of the earth and even give back!

Hey Jeremy, just sharing an idea for season 4, you could totally do a run of living soil + some kind of gravity auto feeding system e.g. bluemats. There's so many people out there that are looking to limit time spent watering because of schedules, so you could potentially have a good audience who are eager to see something like that done.

@@jakestatefarm915 Content can change. Jeremy wasn't one who was into autoflowers but now-a-days, I see more and more folks sticking to autos and not bothering with photos. There's money to be made off clicks for useful informational content. Plus, Jeremy's experience with autos can maybe inspire a new perspective, I don't know.

Cheap, round Wal-Mart kiddie pools make great, and very stylish and durable, floor trays.
You may able to separate the ones you have by letting them warm up in the parking lot a bit, then spraying compressed air between them so that it "pops" out like fiberglass from a mold.

I've got a question about the soil tests. How do they test the remaining nutrients where you send the samples to? I've read today in 'Soul of the Soil' that in soil tests nutrients locked up in colloidals don't show up, but still are available to plants, so it might distort the results. It could be outdated information, since the book isn't a new release, but maybe you know more about it :)
Nice work sir. As I watch I’m reminded of a time back in the 90’s before Home and Garden TV. I was a shooter for a production house. Back when if you wanted broadcast quality video you went to a place like where I worked. There was a client who wanted to try to make a gardening, landscaping, Victory Garden, showing my age, type show. We went to shoot some stuff with a super intelligent guy like yourself who had never spoken to a camera explaining as you are. Was unscripted. He was just sharing his knowledge about these plants were shooting. In trying to speak as intelligently, into the camera, as possible, the words,”… and I hope you can achieve your desired units of satisfaction…”. 😂
He was as stunned as we were that it came out of his mouth. Had to be there and know this great sweet man, but I’ve never laughed so hard before or since. “desired Units of satisfaction.”

great series. You mentioned at the beginning that you can continue using the same soil immediately after harvest using the "no-till" method. I'm new to this method (was always more of a hydroponic gardener). I am hesitant to reuse the same growing medium that I just harvested from, but am very interested in learning how it can be done. thanks and keep up the good work. much love from the east coast.
as long as you use bigger pots its very easy. if you use 5 or 10 gallon pots its difficult because there isn't as much in the "bank" of soil and its hard to balance it.

To get the trays apart take an air compressor with a spray wand and shoot air in-between the two trays. I use this all the time when 5 gallon pails stick together.
