After growing since the 70's I only fill my cups half way up when sprouting seeds. The seedlings tend to stretch when they grow and I like to give them some support by back filling the cup to the top as they stretch. You're welcome to ignore this suggestion - just sharing my experience.

I have so much respect for this channel. Not only do they provide an insane amount of information on (real) organic growing, but Jeremy ALWAYS puts in "disclaimers" that while they do provide these amazing products, you don't need them or can source locally. Such respect for the viewers & the planet.

I wanna say thank you for your knowledge. I’m finishing up a run in a 4x4 tent. I’m using build a soil products in earthboxes. I’ve never in my life seen feeder roots just exploding through the surface looking for more build a flower top dress kit 🤣. The koshi and gnarly barley are unreal with the amount of Mycelium growth!!! UNREAL!!! This is the first time I’ve not sprayed one thing the entire grow with no problems. I’ve added nematodes and rove Beatles to the pots at the first sign of fungus gnats and haven’t seen a dam one since. I’ve really worked on my environment this run. Keeping the vpd right has really let my plants show me what they can do. I’ve never in my 6 years of growing 3 of witch organic can say I’m so FUCKING HAPPY WITH THIS RUN 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on outdoor 2022!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a great feeling when you've passed you're own bar..nice to hear. I have a question for @buildasoil..is it expected to see fungus gnats in this line?or at least relatively common? If so, is this method of predator insects pretty much required to keep everything in check? I had an awful time w gnats with a bag of Stonington super soil variety..I was very frustrated trying to manage w sticky traps..but if in the boxes with shower cap covers, this is to be expected, and rove beatles, etc are the way to extinguish this as a regular course of action, even if you haven't seen any problems yet..I'd of course be fine w that outcome....I can listen to these videos all day,I never get bored, and hear a little gem I missed before..it's a little funny to me how you,Jeremy, just by making informative videos, and demonstrating your product line have made a new person ready to really try as organic as possible..and I very much respect the line I'm using, especially the owner..I feel like I'm cheating on them😉

I am 65 and just started my plants. I am old school so I just bought two bags of soil from Walmart. One was a potting soil and the other miracle grow. Also added bag of worm castings. I use those small peat growing pods, soaked in water. Filled most of the hole in because they are too deep. Added my Apple Banana about 1/2 in. Both seedlings popped out . Proper nomenclature is a tough one. Phenotype is used to describe observable characteristics or the collective expression of the genotype. You could say we are hunting the phenotypic expressions of said variety. Cultivar is also misused, unless you are talking about a clone only plant! Hey, your outlook on life is fantastic, you're heart lead by the sounds of it. I have only just come across your video/channel today, opening up and talking about how important it is to follow your heart and heal your mental and physical self is shining your light. Keep up the great work. Thanks for the Seed tips too, I have tried to germinate in both soil and Coco Coir. I find for me soil is slower, maybe that is due to the way I water? I have had less success with soil. Coco is currently at 100% germination.

You.......are.........GOOooooddDD SIR!!! Perhaps even.... TOOoooo Good! Everything you said I understood very well and like how you offer both sides of the grow... naturally with some assistance or with ALL the helps. If its a seed... chances are, on this planet, under the right conditions, in the proper environment and correct circumstances .....IT'LL GROW !!!! thats what they do😁

I've been working in a horticultural business over 20 years and a lot of the things that you buy you can make it at home like the wetting agent. All you need is a non-altra dishwasher liquid couple of drops and you good to go happy growing.

Jeremey, first off fantastic video. I want to make a suggestion to get a cheap chapin sprayer, like 1 or 2 gallon for like 15-20 bucks, so it will get a gentler spray. I have one for just water for my seedlings. It might take a little longer to water the seedlings, but won't disturb the soil as much. Again, fantastic video. I love what you are doing. Once cannabis is legal in Idaho, I'm going full in and will be using your products. Until then, my food garden still appreciates your knowledge. Cheers

Another great show Jeremy..you should do a competition and release some of the amazing seeds you have in your collection while they’re still viable, would be a shame to see some of those go to waste. The video of your collection was mind blowing the variety of strains&cultivars you have acquired over the years..going to be a great season

Thank you for the tip on dusting the seeds with Beauveria Bassiana. I've used BB successfully as a foliar spray. I'm definitely going to dust my next seeds.

Love the content as always. I've always germinated seeds directly into soil with just plain water, with a good success so far touch wood. Will definitely purchase some Q for this season. Thank you as always
