My 2023 Azure Standard Haul / Unboxing! Stocking my pantry with bulk food!
Here at Calvey Homestead, we are trying to become as self-sufficient as possible. We grow a garden every year and raise a good portion of our own meat. We also try to support local farms as much as possible. We love cooking, canning, and preserving. We are lucky enough to have other family members who live this lifestyle as well. Yay! I was so happy to see your new video. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with your shoulder. My girl friends and i were out for coffee last night and 2 of us were saying what pain we have in our shoulder. Must be going around😁 i’m jealous i can’t order Azure were i am, however, we have a bulk organic store founded by hippies in the 60s. It’s crazy popular. For your Parmesan cheese i always get mine at Costco in a huge block. The real Italian Parmesan imported. It tastes completely different from Canadian/American make Parmesan. It’s reasonably priced for what you get. I can’t wait for the video of what you’re making with the sesame seeds and chick peas. Sounds yummy already. Feel better soon.

Now that would be a store I would love to visit!!!! I don’t even have any Amish or Mennonite store closer than 3.5 hours away! Ugh. I have been to Costco since and bought some parm! That may be where I get it now. The price is pretty comparable too I believe. Now the real Italian, is way out of my price range 🤣🤣🤣 At least it is here. I wanna say it was like 26 dollars per pound!!!!

@@CalveyHomestead wow! That is really expensive. I buy a large wedge for $37 Canadian at Costco, so that is crazy expensive. That’s sad you don't have an Amish or Mennonite store. We had them back in Ontario and they sell delicious home made/grown goodies. I look forward to your posts.

How long does the feta cheese last for ? I know you said a while, but can you be a little more specific?
