I can happily say your blackberry jelly video was suggested on my timeline !I enjoyed watching it so much. I'm the old jelly granny. Last year I put up 125 jars of assorted jams and jellies. I even ventured over to my own cranberry sauce which turned out great. So far this year I've put up 24 jars strawberry jelly, 9 apple cinnamon and a bunch more to come ! Picking peaches Friday for peach jelly and jam. Here in South Carolina our orchards are plentiful. So good to hear others who enjoy canning and preserving.

@@CalveyHomestead I'm 60 and made my career as a nurse of 37 years but always the farm girl at heart. Back in my day we did our canning outside over a huge fire and a big tub that cooked the veggies all day. Jellies are by far my favorites. Perhaps because of my sweet tooth, or just how pretty they are in the jars. Last fall I made my first cranberry sauce and jelly and they turned out fabulously. So far this summer I've made the strawberry , blackberry and just yesterday my blueberry jelly. I don't think I could choose a favorite jelly as I just enjoy them all ! I give away so many jars. Jelly making brings me pleasure. Again, your video was just beautiful to watch.
I love storing spices and herbs in glass jars. I collect every glass jar I can get my hands on.. We do not throw away any glass jars. I love Azure Standard also.
Great haul! I buy my Parmesan from Costco. I always get the large piece and the one from Italy. It is a great price there. When i buy from the Italian markets it’s 3x or mor the price because i only buy Italian made. It’s a very different quality of milk. Smoked cheddar and smoked mozzarella are amazing. Put a crispy coating on them and deep fry, oh. My. Stars. Dip in a sauce and WOW! I LOVE mustard too. Blow your sons mind and add some honey to his dipping mustard he wont know what hit him. I use mustard on sandwiches, hotdogs beef sandwiches etc. i hope your compost works out and get a hardy veggie haul.♥🇨🇦
I’ve actually been wanting to try Costco. It is about the same distance that I drive for Sams and I’ve heard they have a better variety of organic groceries. I love Parmesan. I use it ALL the time, but you’re right, some can be so expensive!!! Tell me more about how to make this fried cheese!! Oh my!! Maybe don’t if it’s that good! 🤣 I’m definitely going to try honey mustard for my son now. Why didn’t I think of that!? He loves honey!! Even eats it on his pancakes. Get your dog and chain them up around your chicken coop. That’s what we had to do for the fox and coyotes and weasels.
