I hated games like these as a kid. My mom was cheap as hell and would get me some of these for Christmas. Out of the bargain bin. To her a game was a game.
To be fair, SOME bargain bin games ARE quite good. Oftentimes I found some there that aren't bad in any way, just...well, old. Seems like your mom had a special ability to always pick out the worst ones. Or the store she went to. But for example, I got stuff like the Soul Reaver game for PS1 for really cheap out of one, and even back then when it still wasn't THAT old (mostly about half a year or so).

It's a shame that Kingdom Hearts, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet & Clank aren't mentioned as some of the best games of 2002. All three including the first FF MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI count among the amazing games that came out in the same year despite 2001 having plenty of amazing games released. On the other hand, Shrek Super Party, Spyro Enter The Dragonfly, and Sneakers are godawful, but not quite as despicably bad as the late into PS1's lifespan Santa Claus Saves The Earth. So 12 year old me was pretty hyped. I promptly forgot about the game until I saw it at Toys R Us 2003 or 2004 in the clearance bin. Where's the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring 2002 Gameboy Advance? To TripleJump. I wanted to let you know that you completely forgot the GBA version of Lord of the Rings Fellowship the Ring on Gameboy Advance published by Black Label Games and Pocket Studios. What make the GBA game of LOTR awful was the graphics were very sloppy and pixilated, this game is awful including tedious fetch quests which weren't fun, the game was very confusing, it was very easy to get lost, the fixed encounter turn based combat was very slow, my units missed the enemy most of the time and my characters nearly died many times. There's an item glitch issue at Rivendell, this game was even worse than the SNES Lord of the Rings game. The worst part about this game is the game breaking glitch in the Mines of Moria where it can freeze your game unless you press and hold certain buttons. I managed to beat this torturous game and the ending sucked. Good lord, how was Pocket Studios allowed to release this trashy gameboy advance game? This glitchy game should've been buried in the landfill along with E.T. cartridges. The JRR Tolkien Estate should've banned this game and recall it from store shelves back in 2002. If anything, I'd rather play Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Rings on PS2 which is much more enjoyable to play even though it ended on a cliffhanger. And also play Lord of the Rings The Two Towers film version published by EA Games, Newline Cinema which is worth your time.
The hooters thing, back when it came out that was pretty normal. The game was god awful but I have a feeling the 20% it got was because it had some pretty ladies.
Hooters made some questionable business decisions back then, like that game and Hooters Air which was a restaurant airline and Hooters girls stewardesses. And shortly after 9/11 when people weren’t too keen on flying.
Let's see. Dead to Rights? Dead to Rights? Good, Dead to Rights is not on the list. After the Super Best Friends did their playthrough of it, some of their fans went on about how it was one of the worst games ever.

It was tough finding stores that could keep it in stock, which in turn made it hard to find a console. Even though it released here in the states in 01, I didn't get my hands on it til 02.
Hooters road trip??? First time I’ve ever heard of its existence
I still have Godai to this day, and never got past the first level with how bad the controls were. Really want to send it to them.
3:17 the licence just ran out, and he wasn't the champion.
Of course there wasn't tutorials, that's what the instruction manual was for. Back then sensible people read the manual so they didn't need to "fumble around with the controls"
Whoa whoa did you do boxing without "uh oh sportssss time!!" Oh dear
Speaking of Hooters, did you know that they had an airline? No I’m not kidding
Wow i wouldn’t mind having a flight on there
@@therunawaykid6523 the airline is no longer around sadly
@@demontorch shame
0:28 HECK YEAH! TimeSplitters! ❤
The Shrek game is so bad I thought you photoshopped the heads.
I'm looking forward to the day people stop talking about Shrek: no more movies, no more videogames, and especially, for the love of god, no more memes. Unfortunately, the earth's crust will split open and swallow us all whole before people will shut up about Shrek.
I was 9. I got resident evil 2 on n64 for my bday. What an awesome time
When I saw that TOYS R US pic in the thumbnail I teared up.
dont you just love the complaint about "no tutorial"? the number of players complaining about having to play them should be around 95%.. so i am pretty sure the people that wrote that critique werent gamers :)
I love this channel baby
I forgot how amazing 007 nightfire was.i might have to replay that now.
I'm kind of a Sneakers apologist due to nostalgia. (I was 6)
I worked at GameStop in 2002. I remember the cover art of these turds well.
Oh yeah, here we go worst games time!
You know... you'd think publishers/developers would realize it is a terrible idea to put console games on handhelds...
My birth year, this feels really odd.
Little kid lol 😆
@@MrAjking808 borther I'm 19, tell my spine I'm a little kid cuz it disagrees lol
GTA 3 came out in 2001
Whats wrong with Hooters FMVs?
Exactly, looked alright to me 😉
Nothing, the narrator is just virtue signaling
The hooters thing, back when it came out that was pretty normal. The game was god awful but I have a feeling the 20% it got was because it had some pretty ladies.
Hooters made some questionable business decisions back then, like that game and Hooters Air which was a restaurant airline and Hooters girls stewardesses. And shortly after 9/11 when people weren’t too keen on flying.
I’m certain that is the reason people brought it
If you’re talking about women wearing revealing outfits, that’s still normal, in fact, it’s more accepted than ever… so idk what you mean by that
Damn, I played the hell outta blitz on advance
Let's see. Dead to Rights? Dead to Rights? Good, Dead to Rights is not on the list. After the Super Best Friends did their playthrough of it, some of their fans went on about how it was one of the worst games ever.
Imagine hooters road trip and guy game and playboy all in one game
Spiderman 2002 is a Thanksgiving movie.
I still have the Bruce Lee game for Xbox
