CHILDHOOD NOSTALGIA: Restoring one of my earliest locomotives - the Hornby Colmans 0-4-0

Here, I restore one of my oldest and most cherished locomotives. It is a Hornby 0-4-0 in Colmans mustard livery. It was a present to me from my late grandfather, and I got it in the late 1990s, as a child. This video chronicles fixing a refurbished motor, sorting out wheel quartering issues, a clean-up, and some cosmetic enhancements.

Ashraaq you have something special there with the Colmans locomotive i have looked at many train sets but Never a Colmans locomotive. very interesting ✔✔😃😃

Yeah it's quite a rare find. Hornby only made it in 1984 and 1985 as part of the Pick-Up Goods set. they never sold it separately. Thanks to my granddad finding it second-hand in the late 1990s that I got my hands on it. Really glad that I was able to get it back up and running.
