With the texture and look of it before cooking, I could see adding some dulse granules to it for a fishy taste and add some mayo for some tuna. Btw, I'm glad to see you put that piece that popped out the pan back in the pan! I see so many people on here throw it away and I'm like, ITS YOUR STOVE! LOL

I bought 3 boxes of this a few months ago, and some of their seasonings. I tried making patties with one box, and smaller nuggets with the other. It was ok, but they end up so much softer than something like homemade seitan or bean burger. So I wasn’t all the way happy with it (taste is fine though). I was thinking it is probably partly cause I don’t use that much oil when cooking it. It does get brown and nicely crispy on the outside, but the inside is too soft and it crumbles really easily in sauces (I used a curry sauce the second time as per a recipe on their website). I think for my last box I’ll cook it like you did here, so it all gets cooked properly and eat it in a taco or burrito. Thanks for the idea!
Ok Tabitha. We had these as patties in thin sandwich rounds with spring mix and sliced tomatoes 🍅. I did add a little seasoning. Didn’t want to obscure the flavor until I knew what it really tasted like. I lightly pan fried it on each side until golden brown. O.M.G.!! It was everything you described and more!
