Really enjoy these videos and learn so much about the nuances and the "art" of crawling. Thanks Logan for your excellent narration and explanations behind your choices of parts and equipment to make your crawling more successful!
Been watching your other channel for a while. I actually bought a Unitah upper, because of one of your videos. I didn’t realize you were into RC too. If you had to choose one to start with, which one would you choose, Axial SCX10 Pro or the Vanquish VRD? I like the two speed trans and the huge aftermarket support of the SCX, but I really like the aluminum sliders, portals, better angle of the skid plate, the CF frame. Not doing any competitions, just playing around in the woods with my friend when we wheel our real rock crawlers.
Hey Logan! Was wondering what you use for your 4ws rigs for the remote? I use a flysky gt5 but wanted to see if there's a better remote that's not hundreds of dollars. ~$100 range or less if it can be done. Thanks and been loving the content for a couple years now!
The CCP is pulling out all stops to flood the US market with their cheap RC crap. Since they can't sell their EV's in the US and they are piling up at EU ports with very few takers. They are trying to put Western companies out of business. A Holmes Hobbies esc and a revolver or a puller 400 will last you for years. Not Hobbywing the 1080 is their cheap entry for brushed. That started the race to the bottom for quality in electronic components. Let the Chinese buy their OWN crap. The Chinese economy is collapsing because the people don't have any real money or buying power. Plus they poison their own with the pollution that comes from the factories that make these products sometimes with forced labor from North Korea.
@@OkRC.crawlers I watched the Rock Pirates video re their Kraken VRD chassis. The skid plate stits at the same height as stock, but with different length links you can effectively move your transmission forward, but then one could not use the stubby kit. There is definitely more adjustments on the kraken. I had not known that the kraken was available in carbon, so it’s lighter in that option. I’m still not seeing enough benefits to go to this chassis. I am however excited about Desert RC making his Coyote rails compatible with the VRD. Retrospectively I wished I had bought the kit instead of the rtr, but ce la vie.
Dude you and me both! The minute he gets the skid figured out I’m prob gonna go to that chassis. With the kraken vrd the if you stack the two rails agains each other you can see where rock pirates took some useless/needless material away from the belly and angle close to the skid.
Be on the lookout for ie rc merge evolution chassis. It has 8°skid and it’s pretty much a straight swap minus a small amount of dremel work to the skid plate.
Man I wish more people would do what your doing just go out for a dive enjoy your rigs
Always a pleasure watching logan, Keep being you........Dan
Solid build. As always, love the terrain. Great video!

Very cool run!
When you coming back to Prescott?
Where's the Yota man?? i miss those videos with the hardbody.... Lovely rig.
Really loving my kraken VRd!
Do you feel the brass rings introduce more chances for breakage?
Another great video. Solid lines.

Do you think a VRD Stance with a hobbywing fusion 2300kv would be fine with a 2s lipo?
You sent
Trying to keep the weight from being one sided so much
What kind of shocks do you run on your buggies
Do you like the Reefs 777 or Raw800 more?
Nice video, looks like fun! What servo mount are you using? Starting this same build since I have an extra cliffhanger body and carbon chassis.
Do you know how wide this rig is ?
Do your know the f2r ratio?
Logan you run a fusion pro on your comp rigs? It won’t make them heavy vs using like a snub nose revolver?

Hell yeah man! The bonus lines are rad!
What is the actual advantage to swapping out the stock flat rails to a Rock Pirates Kraken chassis? Personally I don't see one.
More shock mounting options raised the belly skid is moved forward and the rear shock mounts are moved back. Lots of reasons
Also lighter

Logan, do you like this chassis more than the brazin hardline for the vrd?
Okay okay you can crawl we know bottom line Logan you're a badass driver bro
Would love if the VRDs were both offered with straight axles too.
What happened with the Brazin scale chassis?
So your saying the ssdrc knuckles for the vs410 fit no mods?
What size tires you running
@@raymonde.tanneratomic-rc9370 bfg krawlers 4.75
On the v410 straight axles yes you can SSD vs410 knuckles or scx10ii knuckle on them.
👍
What's that little dude say off of forged in fire it will kill besides for Logan it will crawl
