Thus their ticket sales requests for Celebration Day, like 20+ million requests in an hour or something. It was insane, set world records. If they got together now for some charity concert, same thing would happen. they're legendary! hope they know how much they're appreciated and loved.

It’s crazy right. One time I did the math, and between their first show in 1968 to the end of their 1973 North American tour Led Zeppelin played 438 shows in 1,786 days… which means if you spread it out they played a show every 4th night… three days off, a show, three days off, a show…. For almost 5 years! The shows filmed for “the song remains the same” are the last shows of that epic 5 years… Led Zeppelin then took a well deserved 18 months off before touring again.

This version is IMHO that John Paul Jones is likely the most underrated bassist in rock history. Page is working the slide, Bonham is doing triple fills right and left, and Plant is practically headbanging - while Jones is not only keeping up but holding his own as well. Yep - Underrated.

I wish I could take all you younger folks back to that night, you wouldn't want to come back here to present day trashy corporate music and rehashes of classic hit songs. Guaranteed .Heh. Every band or performer has some uniqueness about them. Led Zeppelin has an endless list of unique features. Great catch on Roberts vocals being on with Pages guitar. Very often Bonzo's drums follow the guitar. They also do many strange thing with time signatures. And their arrangements of the songs is just jaw dropping. Saw them in 1975 & 1977. They are signature moments in my life! Great choice guys!

    • @scottzappa9314

Jimi Page tiene una maestría a la guitarra que es hipnótica. J.Paul Jones está que vuelve loco al bajo, y Bonhan, para variar, se sale de todos los canones. Pura música.
