    🏋🏼‍♀️ I look forward to your daily updates. They are encouraging and informative. When I started my GLP1 back in February there was no real guidance provided by my NP on a group that could be a resource. Especially starting out when I craved learning from someone that knew how to navigate. I must say I personally like your authentic self and enjoy the candor 😂 I’m 43 lbs down and still working towards my goal. Just wanted to show my appreciation by telling you that your experiences have been most helpful.❤

    I'm so happy for you Elizabeth, this isn't an easy journey. I'm on my 4th Mounjaro shot 2.5 mg tomorrow, started late May. I could've been well on my way ALOT EARLIER had I not listened to all of the fear mongering of side effects on the Internet. Thus far I have lost 10 pounds. My inflammation is going down. My insurance may discontinue my Mounjaro coverage soon, Im praying they won't. God bless🙏

    Its extremely important to take D3 with K2. Without the K2, the D3 will not absorb correctly. A good D3 supplement will have K2 in it also.

      Injecting the back of your arm is super easy to do by yourself. Was the last place I tried & was a little scared, but watched a video on You Tube. Raise your arm up over your head, bend your forearm on top of your head, find the fatty part of your underarm & go! 😊 I've had no problem finding that fatty (wobbly) part. 🤭

    • @cloakster
      @cloakster 6 месяцев назад +2

      @Life Tend to agree.
      Solo arm-injecting is a bit intimidating at first, but with care and practice it does become pretty easy.
      And if you’re someone like me - who finds arm to be the most effective shot location (but everyone’s different) - then learning to do solo arm-injects is really really useful. 👌🏻

      Health care professionals here, and I would endorse that! Much safer to add K, but always ask your own doc, as K2 has its own potential risks depending on the individual 😊

    Tonight I will be taking my 3rd shot the first week I lost 13 pounds the second I’ve lost an additional 3 as a 44 year old man I lift weights and do pushups as well as a semi physical job. I have noticed since losing weight no difference in my lifting as I lift heavy weights, which was a real concern of mine. But the pushups have gotten a lot easier . Since I quit smoking cigarettes over 11 years ago now I’ve struggled with weight. Part of my problem was portion size and the speed in which I consumed my food. The abound has been amazing with that. I’ve had zero side effects since taking it as well.

    🏋‍♂🏋‍♂🏋‍♂ Had my Diabetes check up on Monday. A1C is down to 5.9. First time that my A1C has been below 6 since I was diagnosed with T2D back in 2012. Amazing. I'm at 186lbs, that's 70lbs down since I started on MJ back in Sep 23. Still on 5mg of MJ. I have not been at that weight since probably high school. Still can't believe I've been able to lose all that weight. 💪

    Love your channel!!! Very informative and helpful. I liked and subbed!!! I take some of these supplements already because I had gastric bypass surgery back in 2009 and lost over 120 pounds. But over time, life and especially losing my dad when covid hit and losing both my jobs after they filed bankruptcy I got depressed and put it all back on.
    My doctor helped get me approved for Zepbound 2.5ml and I take my first shot Black Friday. I’m so thankful this THANKSGIVING, God is giving me another chance to get healthy again. But I’ve ALWAYS been a big guy and struggled with my weight all my life. I’m hoping I can share my zepbound story with you and your channel after my first month. Thanks for your content and I’ll be checking in on a regular basis to see and hear more stories and tips. Thanks!👍🏼

    I just took my first dose on Monday. 5’8” 240 which has been creeping up and up over the years. Thyroid disease doesn’t help. I’m hoping to lose 50 lbs. I’m already vit d deficient so I’m on prescription strength supplements. I also just started protein powder and creatine. I guess that was a good idea. My insurance has my copay at $200. 50 bucks a week I guess isn’t too crazy but I’m not sure if I’d want to pay that indefinitely. Hoping for the best with this stuff. Thanks for the tips!

    I too wish I had stayed on 2.5 mg longer. I think I was there for two months. I had profound effects from the first injection. I woke up the morning after with no food noise. I had never experienced that. My first thought as I was waking up was “this was never my fault”. This being being fat.
    I am convinced that the issue is hormone disregulation. And that the cure is hormone replacement therapy.

    So informative! Thank you! I started a little over a week ago. Some constipation but taking some fiber chews and that does seem to help. At 392 pounds, I could barely sit behind the steering wheel of my car. Got in yesterday to pick up some veggies and thought "Why is my steering wheel so loosy goosy" DUH, my belly was no longer sitting on part of it. And that was because I'd lost 14 pounds... in a week! And eating good food (aka chicken, veggies, fish) I did decide to go up a dose in two weeks but do feel like I will stay on that dose for much longer than 30 days after watching this video.

    🏋‍♀️ new subscriber here 😊 thanks for the great information! I did my 2nd dose of 2.5 MG last night. For those of us who started on the compounded version, can you provide a link or photo of where Eli Lilly suggests we inject? Or more information on that front? Thank you so much for your information and contagious optimism!

    I have just been approved to start Zep. Going on a cruise next weekend so I told the doctor I will start when I get back home. My first question is on my 1st Monday should I start with the stomach and should I eat before the injection?

    Off topic, but where is your index ring from? Not the Oura ring, the gold one. Love it!

    I had to titrate down from 15mg to an available dosage due to shortages. Has anybody else done this? I am struggling with food cravings and not feeling satiated.

    Hey, I just picked up my zepound from the pharmacy, I'm going to inject right now! I don't want to wait! Are you saying that I should rotate where I inject? Like, the stomach, then the thigh, then the arm? I thought you were supposed to do it in the same area each week? Thanks for the advice! I do have my French vanilla protein shake mix so I'm ready for the day tomorrow!

    I wonder if you had a break from the medication, if you could drop back down to a lower dose as like a reset

    I have been to two different weight loss doctors, and they have only recommended injecting in the abdomen.

    Also being aware of the amount of food we are eating. I found out the food that fits with the injection I was eating 3 times more. Difference of 1.5 cofee cups to 3 coffee cups full of food.
