Dacă nu rezultă nimic la multimetru , da , îl schimbam, dar așa de dragul de a da 800lei ... :( Am mare nevoie de răspunsul vostru va rog.
Schimba senzorul , doar la temperaturi ridicate are scurt în el mai exact când vrea sa își facă regenerarea sardea 700 la 900 de grade și asta împiedică regenerarea...
I had p0401 code come up on a golf gt tdi 140 2006, replaced the egr, that’s didn’t work, have no engine vacuum leak so I replaced this and the code went, so it would more than likely of been p0401 on his car👍
Also symptoms were overheating at motorway speeds, rough idling reduced fuel efficiency and it had lost a little bit of power but not very much, wasn’t blowing out black smoke either before and after i replaced the egr, hope this helps you mate

The DPF won't be able to regenerate so it will get blocked and the car will stop

What fault codes did this produce before you changed and what symptoms did car have

No, the g235 sensor is under the turbo. Directly on the exhaust gas exit
