My couch has a gold, beige and red flowery type (cottage type of look) of design on it. I would use these same colors for this pattern for the contrast. It would look really sharp.

I'm about to start this using yellow, white, grey, and black. I have no clue how to set up the color pattern though. Love this zigzag.

I grew up near Lake Huron, too. This really does look like sand ripples. I picked up some color changing yarn to make ripple lapghans for our local hospital, and this is the most interesting variation on the ripple pattern that I have seen. The hospital ones will be bright rainbow colors, but then I will make a large one for my living room in the tones of the Great Lakes waters and sands. Thank you!

Almost what I made back into the 70’s. Very similar except mine had some rows were sc then ch sc then ch… if that makes sense. Thanx for sharing this!

I have been unable to find this pattern on Yarnspirations. I do best with both the tutorial and a written pattern.

Hi Mikey I am curious about the second row the first 2 slip stitch was that only if you weren't changing colors? Is that what you mean? Also do you do the slip stitch all the way through the blanket? Thank you
