I had all symptoms, extremely... 8th day finally stop shttttting everywhere and vomiting, getting my appetite back, still headaches with a sharp cramp persists...😢
I just had it. I got it from taking care of my 80 year old parents who contracted it. I'm not surprised I got it. Helping them was reminiscent of when I worked in a nursing home and hospital. They are disabled, don't move quickly anymore so, use your imagination as to what was happening there for 3 days. I didn't have the vomiting. I have horrible stomach pains and spent long hours on the toilet. The worst part seems to be after the fact. I am so exhausted. Feel completely wiped out. I went to the gym today for the first time in a week. I was so exhausted. I was only working out at about 50%. My getting it was completely unavoidable because I couldn't leave my parents to fend for themselves. Try not to get it!
My mother brought that UGLY virus home from the hospital! (AZO URINARY PAIN RELIEF MAXIMUM STRENGTH) will take care of all the VIRUS PAIN.!!! Drink water water water soup soup soup and DO NOT SMOKE OR ALCOHOL during the VIRUS. Stay still in bed and it will go away very QUICKLY.!!! I do not have any urinary pain at all but that over the counter medication is the CURE for now for all of the pain from that UGLY VIRUS.!!!
We had with so much belly pain. It was so hurtful. Vomiting in every 10 minutes, getting weak… helped us to take some dramamine (to stop throwing up), cramp medicine to stop the contractions and a lot of Gatorade. Don’t have these medications without doctor help. Hope you all stay safe. God bless us!
Diarrhea is NOT the worst symptom wth! I am going through this right now and literally throwing up everything I put into my body! Water, Crackers, soup etc NOTHING stays in your stomach! Then your stomach tells your brain it is hungry so you are essentially starving! That and muscle pains associated with it are the worst symptoms! I am mad he said Diarrhea is the worst oh please.
Boil some cloves and cinnamon smell it and let it go in the air, you also can put one clove or/and cinnamon in your tea! My son had it last week the doctor told me he should drink plenty of water and eat healthy food, and he could eat banana rice apples and drink electrolytes drink like Gatorade. If you get sick let your body do its job, tell your kids don’t be scared it’s normal when you throw up it means your body is doing a great job fighting to feel better the next day, and get plenty of rest so that your body cleanse itself from the stress and pain. (I got it today and my daughter as well, I’m planning to deep clean everything today and spray alcohol on the surfaces after cleaning everything including door knobs and sanitizing things we use like pc phones remotes..etc but I’ll start with the laundry using hot water )
The thing they rarely touch on with norovirus is it absolutely does last longer than 48-72 hours in my experience with it. Maybe the diarrhea or vomiting or worst of it lasts that long but I am on day 8 or 9 of it and still my stomach doesn't feel quite right and I have times when I feel a bit nauseous. I can function but I am lucky I have a work from home job. I am consuming food somewhat normally again but I still am not back to 100% normal with digestion or going to the bathroom. I also had this 6 or 7 years ago and it lasted a good 2 weeks before I felt I could drink any caffeine or alcohol.
I'm not sure if i caught it or the flu? I was on a 6day cruise & got very sick on the last 2 days of the cruise & it lasted for a week after i got home, same as my husband.

I saw another video saying it is spreading in the palisades fire area- all the people who are without homes- staying in parking lot?
