'Man Of Steel' - 10 Years Later. (RETROSPECTIVE)

When it comes to the big screen, Superman certainly has had his fair share of ups and downs. The character's first movie, released in 1978, was a critical and commercial hit, earning 4 Academy Award nominations, even taking home the Oscar for best visual effects. None of the film's following three sequels would earn such high honors (or box office numbers, for that matter), and for nearly 20 years, The Man of Tomorrow would be absent from the silver screen. 2006's Superman Returns was a loose continuation of the Christopher Reeve films, but it failed to find a wide audience. Once again, Superman was left in limbo. All of this would change in 2013 when director Zack Snyder was handed the keys to the DC king by parent studio Warner Bros. The initial plan was a lone Superman film, but what was to come was an entire universe. Today, on Superman For Everyone, we're going all the way on Man Of Steel. Let's get to it!
