So glad I found this DIY almost two years later: This DIY has given me some really good ideas to make some fun Halloween "spell" books decor. I have seen the pendants in Michael's and could not imagine what to do with them; thanks to your creative vision, now I know. The DIY makes it looks do-able and possible to achieve outstanding results. Loved your ending with your hair a little messed up - I had to smile! TFS
I made one last night. Love this tut!! Super fun, super easy, and the outcome looks awesome! I couldn't find the rub n buff, so I just used some metallic paint. Turned out similar in appearance.

im trying to make a folder for my drawings with this type of technique but i dont know if they sell mod podge here in mexico...but if they do it would probably be really expensive. so instead im using normal white glue with water and i just added a little bit of all purpose flour and is working out just fine :D i love your videos but i like this one the most!!! :3
When crafting with thrifter books alway be sure to check you haven't accidentally picked up something worth money, people don't know what they have sometimes and you may have picked up a first edition or a special run print that's worth a lot 😊

You should make it clear that you are using modge podge to glue the paper towel on, not just spraying it with water and expecting it to stick with water only.

You don't even have to add the flour. There is countless videos on how to make mod podge gesso
