Halloween crafting is finally here. In this video I show you how I create this fun prop for your Halloween home decor.

I use a paper mache book from HobbyCraft but can only find them on Amazon now. Linked above.
I include small glass bottles purchased from The Works. I cut up small lolly sticks to create crates. I use lots of free online resources such as printable labels and spells.
To create the potion and ingredients bottles, I use alcohol ink and PVA glue to thicken it up. I also use spiders from Poundland and fur from my leftover stock.

I think the cabinet was the first of your videos I ever saw! I think this could fit perfectly among other books on a shelf and then once a year it could come out and be an instant Halloween decoration.

Claire! I love it!!! That is such a cool and unique way to use those paper mache books! I never would have thought to use them for that! Great job, what a cool prop for Halloween! BTW, one way to make the cardboard a bit stronger for a project like this is you can mix some Plaster of Paris with some water and brush it onto the cardboard. Just makes it a bit less flimsy and less warped from the PVA glue. Or even corn starch or baby powder with a little glue and water would work.

Yess, the video I've been waiting for since March 🤣🤣🤣. This looks so fun to make and I love the hot glue details. I need to make something similar with the miniscule amount of craft supplies here in France xx
Samia, honestly I was rummaging through my supplies like ... Where is everything ???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lolly sticks and free printables and hot glue was pretty much all I used ! Apart from the candle and skull and spider ..... this was all the craft supplies ❤❤❤ I am now panicking as I have mostly large skulls and bones left 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@ClairesCraftyCorner Oh, OK. I use packaging when I can get it or page protectors but they are both flimsier than your perpex. I subscribed to your channel awhile ago but I just found you again in my lists. This is a really great project! I've always loved little miniature bottles and boxes and the crates of scrolls are terrific! Happy Hallowe'en from Canada!
