I know you done with the paint job but here are a few tips. When mixing either 545 or topcoat don't add the reducer till after your induction time is over. Cover your mixing container with a air proof lid this keeps air from burning off the reducer. Adding reducer as you go is not a good idea. When tipping the hull sides start at the water line and tip upward this will cut down on sags. The bugs "nats" are attracted to the reducer hang a rag saturated reducer near by and 90% of the nats will go to the rag and stay off the paint. Best of luck!

wow!!! That's looking sick!! Incredible job! I ripped apart my Father in Law's pontoon boat and stripped all his painted rails and panels down to bare metal, and rolled ands tipped with topside paint! It came out amazing! But yours takes it to another level!!! awesome!!
It did kind of look like the Bahamas water. But from another angle it looked like the Madagascars water. But then I looked again on the left, I could swear it looked like the Greeces water. Very cool.

Great video. You two are kick to watch! We painted our hull a new color as well, but used one part paint and it wasn't great- had zero durability. So, at the end of all your work, I think you will be much happier for longer having switched to the two part.
Hi Raff and Sascha just a thought on something some sailors overlook. Do a very through inspection on the hull/deck attachment points for the standing rigging. Failure at sea will bring down the mast and leave you in a tight spot especially at night. Have a great day. Tom in Canada in the Maritimes at the NB-NS border.

I'm about to take on some impact cracks and stress cracks. I've watched a thousand videos and I know a lot of what I need to do. I'm still a nervous wreck about the fiberglass work and getting everything back to looking like they were never there. Repair videos painting videos you name it. I'm still very confident I'll find a way to screw something up 😂. You just got to fix what you messed up and learn from it but it's nerve racking 😅 it might cost more to re do something but it's worth it in the end. You guys did great fixing your mistakes and making it look great. I hope I can pull it off.
