Yoooooooo, just found you’re channel and I’m HOOKED!!! You guys are a trip, the content’s fun and your editing is dope!!!!! Just had to drop a comment, now back to my binging!
It did kind of look like the Bahamas water. But from another angle it looked like the Madagascars water. But then I looked again on the left, I could swear it looked like the Greeces water. Very cool.
@@SpearItAnimal don’t forget the New Zealands water and the Tuvalus water! I wish I wanted to sail. My retirement will be a nice 50ft thing with buttons and motors, is the plan. You kids are the most normal of these sailing people. Some of them have obvious issues. Wow! Maybe 18 months from we’ll be in the same marina wish me luck. You got shots on me. Nice kids. Oh I have an influencer product, we send your AI generated exclusive content to your followers who sign up. You get a dollar a month per signup, and so do we. You don’t have to do anything. wow!!! That's looking sick!! Incredible job! I ripped apart my Father in Law's pontoon boat and stripped all his painted rails and panels down to bare metal, and rolled ands tipped with topside paint! It came out amazing! But yours takes it to another level!!! awesome!!
This colour stands out just like you guys. You did some things you did not think through, however, everyone has to learn by doing. I fucked up so many times. At work, playing in bands and in private life. Now it's all good. You'll get there......or......maybe you are already there. Love your vlog. Keep them coming.
.... job well done .... impressive to say the least .... rock-on ... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
I typically hate watching boat builds. This channel has changed that. If you guys put this much effort into the build, I can't wait to see what else y'all do!
Its great to see Playboy Marine. I hauled out my boat there 37 years. The hulls of my catamara were covered with blisters. So we ground off all the gel coat and removed the blisters in the fiberglass. This was a 42 ft boat with two hulls and it was a nightmare. The biggest change I can see in your videos is that it has been paved. 37 years ago it was sand and bottom paint. The noseethems were terrible and lived in sand you were standing on.
Wow! Glad they paved the area because even paved the noseems were terrible! Always right when we got there and an hour before closing... But they were so bad!
She really does look amazing and the boat ain't bad either. (Sorry it was just to perfect a setup to ignore). Great job you two it doesn't even look like the same vessel any longer... Fair winds, following seas, safe travels and God Bless...
Tip, you should use wide thin rollers that are made for epoxy paints , and tip out with tipping brushes which are wider and shorter haired buy good quality . Mix your awlgrip in batches not all at once . Use tack rags and wear tyvek overhauls they will cut down the dust , but it looked ok.
The first episode i watched was your flotilla episode. Then i was seeing random ones pop up. Now I'm addicted to the journey (watching it from the beginning in order now) and it s incredible the blood sweat tears and effort you guys put in. You really did earn every bit of satisfaction this incredible build became.
hello pirates, i watch youre videos for 2 days ,from 1.,i just whont to tell You that you cant hide youre chemistry,i wish You all the luck and healt, arrrrrr
Guys that paint job is sick. Love the colour and the tips and trick you have provided, which will come extremely helpful to others using the same paint system
Another well edited, interesting, hilarious episode. Thankfully there weren't any setbacks. Last week's episode was painful.....more for you but I still cringed. Looking forward to the struggle to come. Because it gets us one step closer to white sand, blue skies and fresh fish.
I can't afford to be a member yet but this has been an awesome experience following your experience restoring your boat. I got the fever to want to find my own boat but it's going to be a year before I could even think about looking for one. I'm going to continue to enjoy following your experience sailing around the world.
Great job guys. You make a good team. Really enjoying these videos. Your editing is right on. Just the right amount of fun, explanation, and fast forward through the tedious parts. Don't change a thing. I don't to any fast forwarding because these videos are not boring and fun to watch.
I love you guys! I watch a lot of sailing channels and I’m always excited to see one of y’all’s new videos! I love how “real” y’all are! Can’t wait to see you guys on some pretty blue water having fun after all this hard work you have put into this pretty boat you have!
Guys, next time try to use thinner roller, the one sold for latex paints. That roller does not create bubbles and you can tip with the same roller as you paint. I tried several rollers and that roller worked best - it was also the advise of the pros at the yard.
and always read the instructions and info on paints and primers ... I'm pretty sure that primer problem was mentioned on the can of the primer ... as in temp and humidity... ........ I just checked my paints and dispersion stuff and it states in what conditions it should be used... oh boy ... one preventable mistake ... but we hiw to get primer off 😅
Congratulations! Am a long-time follower of the RUclips sailing world channels, and really enjoy your channel. It's real, as are you both and it's raw. I genuinely like the instructional aspects of the past few vids and really enjoy the positive, fun energy inherent in your relationship -- you both seem good to, and for, each other. Looking forward to more content -- please keep it fun and real and down-to-earth (or sea) as you have been. Raf, keep up the good ol' boy, perseverance without pessimism, can-do attitude. Sascha, keep up the independent and extremely capable, fun chick energy. You both compliment each other beautifully...
Wow!! Freaking awesome job and on a BIG boat. I'll be revisiting this video once I'm ready to put my final color on my little Catalina 22. Thanks for all the tips, especially adding reducer when needed. That one I didn't know, I just would have painted faster, lol.
Really digging your channel and your "Screen Style" you two have a very nice way about you and I'm looking forward to seeing you two tending the sheets and guys! Fair Winds!
