- This video will show you how to start and work on the afghan loom. I am using a figure 8 stitch. The pegs to mark are 1 (arrow), 8, 11,14,17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38, 42, 45, 48, 51,54, 97,98, 99 & 100 (or 1).

I saw a video by Ms Yarn and she pulled the loops to tighten them and just pulled it out from her first peg. It’s on the zippy loom for a baby blanket. Definitely easier to watch her video than try to explain it haha

So do the sides curl and do you need to do a border?
This might sound dumb, but why do you need to skip pegs? And does it affect how it looks?
I skip pegs to make it a rectangle. If you do all the pegs it won't be evenly shaped.
Just finished my second blanket (for me this time!!!) I used 6 skeins

Not a dumb question at all. Thinner yarn will make a smaller blanket and not as heavy
My KB Afghan loom has 193 pegs. How would I math the pegs?

4 big rolls makes a twin size blanket
I tried this with Lion brand Hometown #6 and the stiches were very loose, what did I do wrong?
Is it thick? If its not thick enough it won't work and will be loose
