Dear Wambui, after watching many videos on this subject I have finally found yours. What a pleasure to watch, for you are really explaining everything we need to know and with such patience and a lot of humor. I immediately subscribed and will be watching more of your videos. Thank you so much and kind greetings from Holland. 😊🧡👍
I have watched many videos as I want to learn to use the knitting loom. You my dear are the only person who explained how to use the loom, took your time explaining how and what you were doing. Thank you so much, my looms are on their way and I know if I have a question one of your wonderful videos will help me out. I can't say thank you too many times, I am excited to get started. I have subscribed to your channel for anything new you have got coming out. THANK YOU AGAIN, Deb
I’m almost finished my blanket, and I was watching the part 2 video to see how to end the blanket. I must say you explain extremely well. Now all I need you to do is a video on socks, and mittens. Lol
Hi Heather! Thank you for watching. I am happy that you found the video helpful. Yes, as soon as I feel comfortable with making socks and mittens, I will definitely make a video tutorial for the channel. In the meantime, Stay wonderful! 🌻🧶🧶🌻
You are the first person to explain this loom that actually makes sense! I'm working on one now with this pattern! So far amazing!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for being so wonderful at explaining this. Your warm and positive energy is refreshing and I love your videos. I love the way you go slow and you are very thorough when explaining. Thank You!
I just found a video from 3 years ago, thanks a lot for easy instructions. I’ve had a loom for years and never took the time to learn how to use it. Now I can.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do everything step by step it really helps i learned how to do a Perl stitch from you going slow once again thank you
Your kind words have truly touched my heart! ❤️ I'm so happy to hear that you're finding the videos useful and that you're on your way to making your blanket. That's fantastic! Remember, each stitch you make is a step closer to creating something beautiful and uniquely yours. Thank you for being a part of this crafting community. Keep going, and I can't wait to hear about your finished blanket!
Thank you so much. I finally found a video that actually makes sense. I got the hang of it after rewatching it a couple times. I have experience from making hats so I got the hang of it pretty quickly. This is gonna be my first project with size 6 glacier color yarn. I think I should be done in a week. I was gonna give up on it but the way you explained the steps was perfect! This was just what I needed. Again thank you so much! :)
Hi Honi No! Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you found the video helpful. That number 6 yarn sounds wonderful. Thank you for the the lovely comment. I wish you continued success!🌻🌻🧶
I absolutley love your tutorials. You explain everything so clearly. I'm following you with this project. Yes, need patience not the easiest loom. The end results in a couple months should be beautiful. Your wonderful!
This is just so awesome. You have to be the most patient person on the planet. You do such a great job of explaining. I had the green infinity loom like yours. I agree that loom is hard to work with. I gave mine to my great-niece 10 years old. She was so appreciative to get that loom. She will do wonders with that loom. I showed her how to loom knit. She knit a hat and went home and did her own creation. came back to visit and she did another hat with me. Her little sister 6 years old wanted to knit. She did a lap blanket within the hour. I didn't think I had the patience to teach, I amazed myself. Loom knitting is such fun and rewarding, especially when children want to learn.
Hi Phyllis! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story about your grandchildren and their crafting. I love to see children crafting! -And, they do have a way of making everything their own and coming up with new ways of doing old things. Thank you so very much for watching and for being on the channel. All the best to you and your lovely family!🧶🧶🌻
Oh my God! It's fantastic my name's Cesar I from to Brazil and I enjoy yours videos. You're so very kind... Thanks for your videos and very much beautifully knitting's works! Peace!
My wife bought me an infinity loom ages ago and I finally found the perfect yarn for it. Expect the instructions that came with it were garbage! Your videos, Part 1 and Part 2, were a huge help in getting the hang of the infinity loom. Thank you! Now I can finally make us a lovely afghan on my knit loom. THANK YOU!
Hi Jen! I really appreciate you watching the videos. And, I am very happy that you found them helpful. I am happy that one day soon you and your wife will be enjoying an amazing afghan made by YOU. Let me know if should have any questions during the process. Congratulations in advance on a beautiful self-made gift for the two of you.🌻🌻🌻🧶
Hi Tina! I am literally laughing out loud right now because I think we were both looking for that same algebra teacher!! I never found that teacher. That’s why I do crafts instead of working at NASA. 🤗 Thank you sooo much for watching. Have a joyful day!!🌻🧶🌻🌻
Hi Pat! Thank for the lovely comment. Thank you for watching and I am glad you find the videos helpful. All the best to you -- All the way over in the UK!!🌻🌻🧶
Hi Ruth!!! Wow!!! Aren’t you amazing!!! Thank you so very much for the beautiful birthday greeting!! This means a lot to me. I am doing a LIVE on this Sat -the 29th at 6PM New York Time - and perhaps we will have a little celebration then. I wish YOU a beautiful day as well!!!🌻🌻🌻

Thank you so much. I just found the green one at the local thrift store. I'm excited to start my first one. Thank you so much for taking the time especially for the tie off.

Hello! I found a great deal on a KB Afghan loom, and started my first project with it. I have a feeling it will take a few weeks to complete, but thanks to your wonderful directions, I feel confident I’ll be happy with the results. Thank you!!!
Hi Richard! Thank you so much for watching. Yes, it’s going to take a little while. You’re going to be doing a lot of Looms Knitting🤗. Also, I just want to make sure that you saw part two. In this video, I actually make a small sample of what the whole Blanket should look like: The Afghan Loom Part 2 from Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/0buMQVXeFhQ/видео.html Thank you for the lovely comment. All the best to you!🧶🧶🧶
Hello~ I have never seen this type of looming until tonight...never! You are SUCH a amazing teacher. Thank you for making such a informative video, I appreciated it very much. Happy New Year to you! Kim from Indiana!
As someone kinda new at this, I like your close camera work and also like that you do so many stitches on camera. Your vid is really helping me...thanks!!
Hi Brenda! Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you find the videos helpful and easy to follow as a beginner. Thank you for the lovely comment. It means a lot to me. All the best to you!🌻🌻🧶
Oh my goodness.. thank you for that.. loosening the loops at the end.. I have always hated how one side always looked way better after all my hard work.. Thank you!🙂🙌
I could not for the life of me figure this out, I felt sooo dumb. Thank you for explaining it so well. Wow! I don't know why I couldn't figure it out on my own. Thank you.
Hi Candice, thank you so very much for watching. Welcome to the world of loom knitting! I don’t know if you have watched the Loom Knitting for Beginners video or not. Here is the link to that video: How to Loom Knit for Beginners: Basic Loom Knit Stitch / DIY Loom Knitting for Beginners - Part1 ruclips.net/video/1dc9dGiAtqc/видео.html I think it is a very good place for beginner, beginners to begin and shares information that can be helpful when getting started. Thank you for the lovely comment. All the best and continued success to you!🌻🧶🌻
Im most definitely one of those that needs it repeated multiple times. I have a learning delay so If it weren't for you i would not be able to do this. Thank you 💖
Hi Crystal! Thank you sooo much. I am excited for you. Don’t hesitate to ask if I can help explain something further. I don’t know everything - but willing to share what I do know. 🌻🧶🌻🧶🌻
Hi Shannon! I am sorry your started wrong - but the good new is - you figured out what to do 👍🏽. I am glad you found the video helpful. I thank you for watching.🌻🧶🌻🌻☀️
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just have two questions; How long does it take to make a blanket if you used the whole loom? And, what happened to the green loom you were using in the first part of the tutorial? Thanks again! ❤
I love your videos. You do go slow and seem to kind and comforting when ding this. BUT I am confused about something and i hope you can answer me I bought the Infinity afghan loom, and was hoping to make the full size blanket. SO I assume i use the whole thing. Correct? The booklet with it said that i have to reverse and go back the opposite direction after a row. DO i do that, or can i jsut keep going around and around? Also , they suggest doing an all knit, or all perl blanket. It that what is best, or your way? I want to see if i got your way right and that is alternating knit ;Perl rows for 4 , and then doing knit except for the start and end of each row? Is that correct? My main confusion is i guess if i need to reverse after each row when i am using the complete loom. Can you clarify for me?
Thank you for explaining each knitting steps so understandable. I do have a question .... when run out of yarn ... how do you add more yarn. I hope you see this... thank you❤
Hi Tiny! Thank you for watching and for the lovely comment. Here is a link to a video about changing yarn colors but it can also be helpful for adding yarn even if it is the same color. Changing Colors on the Round and Long Loom Knitting Looms - Looming With Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/6U9tLbCU4ic/видео.html When I first started loom knitting and even sometimes now, I simply tie the two ends together in advance and just keep loom knitting. Of course, depending on the yarn you may or may not see the knots in the finished afghan. Using the method in the video for the round loom will help make a smoother transition. I hope this is helpful. Continued success on your afghan!!🌻🌻🧶🌻
Hi Della! Thank you for watching. I did not fully understand your concern. I know it has something to do with tightness. If you want to explain further, I will see if I know of anything that might help you. All the best to you!🌻🧶🌻
Does this pattern keep the material from curling? I’ve noticed when looking up beginners crochet and knit kit, the pics show a curl in the material when finished.
Thank you for this video. I was trying to figure out how to keep an afghan (baby blanket) from curling without having to do the entire blanket in garter stitch! This will be much faster.
Hi K’Lynn! Thank you so much for watching. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment. I also want to make you aware of part two of this video that I have linked below. In part two, I do a sample demonstration from beginning to end of the blanket: The Afghan Loom Part 2 from Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/0buMQVXeFhQ/видео.html Thank you for being on the channel. All the best to you!🧶🧶🌻
Hi, I just wanna make sure I understood Video correctly. I did print out the instructions you gave and video one and watched a video too. However, when you cast on the next row is it knit a row and then Pearl a row then knit a row and then pearl. Then you start with the four knit, pearl, knit pearl and then it all the way is knit ,that correct? Because in video 2 you gave two ways of doing it I just wanted to make sure. Thank you.
Hi Angela! Thank you so much for watching. Congratulations on your new afghan loom! The tail ends are woven into the project. At about the 34:00 mark - into the following video will show how to weave the tail yarns in: How to Loom Knit A Placemat - Easy - Two Stitches - Bonus: How to Block Your Loom Knitted Placemat ruclips.net/video/oLTuu3Ayzpw/видео.html 🌻🧶🌻
Hi, I went to the website for CindiWood loom and I did not see this color of wood as an option. Could you please tell me the exact name of this loom and where I can purchase it?
Greetings! I am sorry to hear of your loom knitting issues. Can you send me a picture to wambui @ wambuimadeit .com of what your yarn looks like on the loom? Do you have the ‘too tight’ issue when you loom knit other projects or just on the afghan loom? I will take a look. However, l may not get back to you until the second week in January. Happy New Year! We will make 2023 a loom knitting success year!🎉
Hi Ann! The easiest way that I know to join yarns is demonstrated in the video below at the 25:30 mark. I will try to get this up on the channel as a separate video but in the meantime if you go to the infinity scarf video to the 25:30 mark I demonstrate how to join new yarn. How To Loom Knit A Wavy Infinity Scarf - Easy - Two Stitches - Wambui Made It Infinity Scarf ruclips.net/video/tWMhpukj2so/видео.html Go to 25:30 minutes in to yarn joining demo. Thank you. All the best to you!🌻🌻🧶
I started this blanket awhile ago and then cast off but now I want to add to it. Is there an easy way to do that? It was initially for my little but she has decided that she likes my nightmare before christmas blanket so I now want it wider so I can use it lol.
Hi Anjelica! Thank you so very much for watching and being on the channel. The only solution I can think of is to loom knit another blanket just like the first one and join them together. Getting the length to match will be the biggest obstacle unless you counted the rows. You can just measure carefully as you get to the end and match them up. Here is the link to a video that will demonstrate how to join sections: Join Loom Knitted Sections With the 'Whip Stitch" - Blankets and Afghans On the Long and Round Loom ruclips.net/video/ZijN8LWwdlo/видео.html All the best!!🌻🌻🧶
@@WambuiMadeIt thanks so much! It's almost like sewing it together. I am using the same infinity/afghan loom and it's still marked from the last time I used it lol so they should match up fairly well. I love your videos, they are so informative. Thank you so much for getting back to me 💜
I learnt how to loom knit from your videos but I have a question for the long loom. Can I switch from the criss cross stitch once I have everything on one side(before taking off the loom) to the E wrap stitch for a different look? OR would that turn out weird?
Thank you so very much for watching. The question you are asking is very interesting and got me thinking. I, however, have never tried changing up the stitches or pattern on the long loom. Hmmm. I can’t give you a yes or no right now. I need to play around with that idea. It sounds like it should work and create a unique pattern. My answer is: let me get back to you. I apologize for not being more helpful on this at this time. 🧶🧶🌻
Hi Kimberly! Thank you so very much for watching. This is a question that I have gotten a few times. I think I will make a separate video about this. Here is where your darning needle comes in handy. You are going to thread each of those yarns through a darning needle and weave the needle with the yarn through the edges of the project to hide them as best you can. Then you cut the yarn. (Sounds more complicated than it is.) I have posted the links to two videos below with the timestamps of where this is occurring in those videos. After seeing these sections of the videos, I am confident that you will know exactly what to do. Thank you for this question and thank you for the inspiration to do a video just on this topic. Greetings! You place the markers on the loom at the beginning. After the first four rows that you will use them when you start and end each row with k,p,k,p. The makers will help you to remember on which pegs to knit and which pegs to purl.🧶🌻🌻
Hi Wambui, came across your video when I was looking for an easy to follow Afghan / baby blanket video. Love it!!! Thank You for such clear explanations!!! Look forward to watching more. p/s may I know for the last 4 alternate rows, should it be the reverse of the starting 4 rows ie purl, knit, purl, knit? Looking fwd to hearing from you and to more wonderful teaching videos!!! Thank You.
You are an amazing teacher, but can i tell you I am having a love/ hate relationship with this loom... I have a hard time maneuvering it, and I do not find it relaxing, but I do like the option that you can make a wide length afghan... I'm ready to build one with straight wood and big nails...😒😂
Hi Kristen! Thank you so much for watching. Thank you so much for being on the channel. Now I have to tell you something. I am no longer in love with this loom either! I feel the same way you do about this loom. 🤗 I thought it would be much more fun than it was. My favorite way to make afghans now is using a small round loom and producing the ten-stitch blanket. A Ten Stitch Blanket for Loom Knitters - Step By Step - Wambui Made It - 10 Stitch Blanket ruclips.net/video/TjuYtw4BFAM/видео.html I am sorry for your frustration. And, I feel you. Many others enjoy working on this loom and find it relaxing, but I am not one of them. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. I wish I could be more helpful to you.🧶🧶🌻

Hi Hunter! At the 23:30 mark in this video: How To Loom Knit A Wavy Infinity Scarf - Easy - Two Stitches - Wambui Made It Infinity Scarf ruclips.net/video/tWMhpukj2so/видео.html I demonstrate how to add new yarn quickly when you need to. Have a great day!🧶🧶🌻
I’m new to loom knitting and watching your videos has made it so much easier. Thank you! Can you tell me a little more about the size and gauge of your Cindwood loom? I want to get it.
Hi Linda! I appreciate you being on the channel. Thank you for the lovely comment. The CindWood loom that I am using in this video is 188 pegs - 1/2 inch gauge. I love it and I have enjoyed what few interactions I have had with the company. Let me know if you have other questions. In the mean time, I send best wishes to you!!🌻🌻🧶🌻
Hi Wambui, I love your videos, got me started on loom knitting and my first grandbaby blanket on the infinity loom. I did have trouble taking it off and it got wonky!! How can I fix that? any suggestions? It got tight because I couldn't loosen or they would fall off the pegs
Hi Lynn! I am sorry to here of your frustration with your blanket. The only way I know to fix it is to ‘block’ it into the shape you want. Once something is blocked it usually holds its shape even after washing. Your blanket is a large item. However, people do block blankets all the time. You will just need the space to do it. I am giving you the link to a loom knit placemat video where I show how to block loom knitted items. Here is the link: (At the 36:52 mark) - How to Loom Knit A Placemat - Easy - Two Stitches - Bonus: How to Block Your Loom Knitted Placemat ruclips.net/video/oLTuu3Ayzpw/видео.html With blocking, you can, while the item is wet, shape it how you want it to be and straighten out the wonky end and then let it dry. I am sorry I can’t come up with any other solution right now.🧶🌻🧶
I made a blanket with #4 Ombre yarn. I loosened as much as o could before using the cast off from the infinity loom. It still was pulling in spots. Do I need to knit looser or what? I can’t see here how to post a picture. I’ve had this happen twice with Ombre yarn. Two other blanket on infinity loom with corse yarn were fine.
Hi Glenda! First of all, thank you sooo very much for watching. I am sorry to hear that your blanket is pulling too tight. Sometimes the cast off end of the blanket is tighter than the cast on end - and the whole blanket looks ‘wonky’. Instead of loosening the stitches of the last row, it is sometimes easier to purl the last row very loosely - with large loops - and then do the cast off. Feel free to send photos as attachments in an email to Wambui @ wambuimadeit . Com Perhaps if I see it, I can get a better understanding of what is happening. In the meantime, stay well and have a wonderful day!🌻🌻🧶
i love the kind and positive energy you give out. it's so lovely to see on all of your videos and in the way you respond to comments. i wanted to ask your advice re the edges. if i make a large blanket using the maximum amount of pegs i can on the KB (S or 8 shape infinity) loom, should i still only do 4 rows at the start and the end (KPKP) + 4 pegs/stitches at the start and end of each row (KPKP), or should i do more, say 8 rows (KPKPKPKP) at the start and end of project, and 8 pegs/stitches at the start of each of the rows? just wondering if the edges will not be big enough bearing in mind the size of the blanket. not sure if that makes sense? Thanks very much for any thought or guidance.
Hi J M! First of all, thank you very much for being on the channel. Yes, your question makes a lot of sense! I think it also depends on the weight of the yarn. The yarn I demonstrated with was a bit too heavy. For a huge blanket, I don’t think it will hurt to do 6 to 8 rows on each end to be sure of less chance of curling. I think the k,p,k,p, along the sides will be sufficient. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have only done baby blankets on the afghan loom. I hope you enjoy making it and that it turns out beautifully!! Have the best week ever!🌻🌻🧶
@@WambuiMadeIt thank you so much for responding; i am really grateful. that's great, think i will indeed do 6 to 8 rows at the start and end of the blanket and will stick to the kpkp at the start and end of each rows. i am waiting for the loom to be delivered before choosing my yarn as i dont know what the gauge is like and if i need chunky yarn or not. i'd like to be able to use chunky yarn as it's gonna be a huge project but i'm prepared for needing smaller weight yarn if needed. sorry for taking more of your time but do you have a suggestion for a soft chunky and a soft smaller weight yarn for a blanket? i am in the uk so there are brands i can't get. i always agonise with choosing the yarn as it can make such a big difference to the project. thanks so much and no worries if you are unable to help re the yarn query.
Great videos I am just getting into loom knitting and I have made a scarf. I am now thinking of buying a serenity loom as I want to make a blanket, I just want to know where you got this loom from as your first video you were using a different loom.
Hi Karen! Thank you for watching! I got this wooden loom from Cind Wood Loom - cindwoodlooms.com This one is the 1/2 inch 150 peg loom. I love all of my wooden looms from Cind Wood! Yes, pricier - but worth every penny! You will enjoy. All the best to you!!!🌻🧶🌻
Hi Nicole! Thank you for watching. Most of my videos don’t have the patterns written out because it takes so much time just to get the video done and edited. In part one of the video, I do have the pattern written on the screen in big letters and will be easy to copy. At about 4:08 in this video -- Part 1 - Our First Afghan / Infinity Loom Project from Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/8syzN1LIWPA/видео.html 🌻🧶🧶🧶
You are my go-to teacher for sure. You are the absolute best. My question is silly but the number of pegs you use is the width then you knit however long you want the Afghan?
Hi Regina! Thank you so very much for watching. Yes, the number of Pegs will give you the width of the blanket. However, keep in mind that you’re going to lose about 10 inches once you take it off the loom, so you always want to add extra pegs to ensure that the width is the width you want it to be. As far as the length, loom knit until you feel you have the size you want. If you are doing sections and want to join two areas together, you want to use a row counter to ensure each section has the same number of rows.🌻🌻🧶
Hi Heather! This is the part one of this video. It explains the layout and pattern in more detail: Part 1 - Our First Afghan / Infinity Loom Project from Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/8syzN1LIWPA/видео.html Take care!!🌻🌻🧶
I am working on that now. For starters, Tuesday morning, I will have a video up showing one way to piece or join sections together. I will then come back with a video where I will show you from beginning to end how to make a blanket on the long or round loom. It is sometimes hard to find the time I need to make the videos. I appreciate your support.🧶🧶🧶🧶🌻
Part 2 is great. In part 1 where you explain the beginning and the end k-p-k-p i didn't grasp the first 4 pegs (so i have a section on each end that is just the eknit. I'm wondering if i start now then balance it on the very end perhaps it will not be obvious?? This is my first afghan and so i can't visualize it. Do you think this will look ok or would you redo from the beginning?? I'm currently on my 8th row of estitch. Everyone's input would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hi Dot! I am sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I am trying to think of the best way for you to proceed. Are the first 4 rows: first row knit, 2nd row purl, 3rd row knit, 4th row purl - and then you have 4 rows of just plain knit?? Is this what you have? 🌻
@@WambuiMadeIt Yes I was but i decided to continue on and it is looking fantastic! I'm on skein #2 and I'm happy with it. Thank you for responding. I do appreciate it :-)
Hi Tina! At about 40:41 in the video: The Afghan Loom Part 2 from Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/0buMQVXeFhQ/видео.html There your will find how to bind off. I hope this is helpful. All the best to you!!🌻🧶🌻
Hello! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! I am at the end of my Afghan, and I was just wondering about the last 4 rows. Since we started the Afghan with 4 rows of KPKP, shouldn’t the last 4 rows be PKPK? Since we want it to be a mirror of the beginning of the blanket, and P was 4 and K was 1 (so P 4th last, K last). I appreciate your help! :)
Hi Tarian! Thank you for watching and thank you for reaching out. I am going to have to create a sample to see for myself. I gave the original blanket away and now don’t have a reference to look at in front of me. Over the weekend end I will have time to recreate a sample. I apologize for any frustration my tutorial may have caused. In the meantime, I send you blessings.🌻🧶🌻
@@WambuiMadeIt thank you for the reply! No frustration at all - in fact this was the only tutorial I saw that was clear and easy enough for me to actually learn :) I just wanted to know if you have ever tried the PKPK to end off, but I think I’m just gonna stick with the KPKP since it’s worked for you!
Hi Sheila! A full size blanket is about 85 inches x 90 inches. Although there is a size that is sometimes referred to a a general ‘afghan size’ and that size is 50 inches x 65 inches. Wambui, you are absolutely the best at teaching the use of these looms
Hi Therese504! Thank you. Thank you for the lovely comment. I appreciate you watching. All the best to you!!🧶🧶🧶🌻
I just bought my first infinity loom and your videos have been extremely helpful! Thank you for the lovely video❤
Thank you so much! I've spent hours watching looming videos, but none of them have been as clear as this! You're a great teacher.
Hi Trish! Thank you for watching. I appreciate your lovely comment. All the best to you!🌻🌻🧶🌻
I really enjoyed watching your video. 😊 I learned so much from you and I want to say thank you for teaching me to knit on a loom.
I absolutley love your tutorials. You explain everything so clearly. I'm following you with this project. Yes, need patience not the easiest loom. The end results in a couple months should be beautiful. Your wonderful!
Hi Sherry! I am glad you found the video helpful. You are right- patience needed, but the results will be wonderful!!!🧶🌻🌻🌻🧶
Peace!

Very nice 👍 I’m trying the long loom first. I have watched your video a few times.🌸
Hi Jewel! Thank you. Yes, I think you are right to work on the long loom BEFORE the Afghan or Infinity loom. Thank you for watching. 🌸🧶🌸🧶🌸
Changing Colors on the Round and Long Loom Knitting Looms - Looming With Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/6U9tLbCU4ic/видео.html
When I first started loom knitting and even sometimes now, I simply tie the two ends together in advance and just keep loom knitting. Of course, depending on the yarn you may or may not see the knots in the finished afghan. Using the method in the video for the round loom will help make a smoother transition. I hope this is helpful. Continued success on your afghan!!🌻🌻🧶🌻
Hello love your video i have a problem with my getting to tight to get to the peg thanks
Hi Della! Thank you for watching. I did not fully understand your concern. I know it has something to do with tightness. If you want to explain further, I will see if I know of anything that might help you. All the best to you!🌻🧶🌻
Hello!!! How many yards of yarn did you use total for this big blanket? I can’t wait to start mine.
When I knitted off my end was too tight!! Is there a way to fix that?
Hi! My thread keeps ripping when I try to loosen it. Are there other ways to cast off?
Does this pattern keep the material from curling? I’ve noticed when looking up beginners crochet and knit kit, the pics show a curl in the material when finished.
Thank you for this video. I was trying to figure out how to keep an afghan (baby blanket) from curling without having to do the entire blanket in garter stitch! This will be much faster.
Hi K’Lynn! Thank you so much for watching. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment. I also want to make you aware of part two of this video that I have linked below. In part two, I do a sample demonstration from beginning to end of the blanket:

Thank you for being on the channel.
Thank you.
Opps i watched it again and understood better. Sorry for the other comment.
Mine is coming in the mail next week. Ive watched both videos. However how or what do you do to get the left over "tail"off you dont leave it do you?
Any tips on the tension? I keep wrapping too tight and am having a hard time knitting over.
We will make 2023 a loom knitting success year!🎉
What the easiest way to attach a another ball of yarn to the working project.
Hi Ann! The easiest way that I know to join yarns is demonstrated in the video below at the 25:30 mark. I will try to get this up on the channel as a separate video but in the meantime if you go to the infinity scarf video to the 25:30 mark I demonstrate how to join new yarn.

Here is the link to a video that will demonstrate how to join sections:

All the best!!🌻🌻🧶
I had a question what do you do with the yarn that sticks out the beginning and end? Just knot it and cut it off??
I put this down for Awhile now picking it back.up. so do the wrap all around til u get to end n start with markers is that right?
Greetings! You place the markers on the loom at the beginning. After the first four rows that you will use them when you start and end each row with k,p,k,p. The makers will help you to remember on which pegs to knit and which pegs to purl.🧶🌻🌻
@@WambuiMadeIt thanks ya I just needed a reminder😊

@@WambuiMadeIt thank you!!! Great tutorials btw :)
Here is the link: (At the 36:52 mark) - How to Loom Knit A Placemat - Easy - Two Stitches - Bonus: How to Block Your Loom Knitted Placemat ruclips.net/video/oLTuu3Ayzpw/видео.html
With blocking, you can, while the item is wet, shape it how you want it to be and straighten out the wonky end and then let it dry. I am sorry I can’t come up with any other solution right now.🧶🌻🧶
@@WambuiMadeIt thank you so much, I would've never thought of that. Thanks!!
I’m getting my blanket done just in time because in Alberta Canada we could get snow any day now. We are getting colder every night.
Hi Heather! I hope that you are able to stay warm and safe.🧶🌻🧶
Olá, achei este tear muito interessante, parece ótimo para confecção de blusas, vestidos, mantas, xales e colchas.
All the best to you!!!🌻🧶🌻
Do you have this pattern written out anywhere? I like to watch but I also like to have the pattern written out. Thank you
If you are doing sections and want to join two areas together, you want to use a row counter to ensure each section has the same number of rows.🌻🌻🧶
thank you!!!!! what’s your opinion on the size of a blanket for a young adult
Can you show the beginning to your baby blanket.

Take care!!🌻🌻🧶
can you please do anAfganhn on a regular loom
I do appreciate it :-)
@@dotmunson9376 Great! Fantastic to hear!!!🌻🧶
How do you bind off the Afghan loom when your finished the Afghan?
Hi Tina! At about 40:41 in the video: The Afghan Loom Part 2 from Wambui Made It ruclips.net/video/0buMQVXeFhQ/видео.html
There your will find how to bind off.
How long should a full Afghan be ? How do I know how much yarn to buy for #5 yarn?
Hi Sheila! A full size blanket is about 85 inches x 90 inches. Although there is a size that is sometimes referred to a a general ‘afghan size’ and that size is 50 inches x 65 inches. Here is the link to a video that might be helpful in figuring out how many stitches to cast on and how many rows to loom knit to get a certain size: How To Figure Out How Many Pegs You Need To Wrap - and How Many Rows You Need To Knit ruclips.net/video/Ipu-33bPtAo/видео.html
Here is a link to a calculator that will help you figure out how much yarn you need for various projects. If you are using a #5, it might also be referred to as a heavy worsted.
