Thank you for the simple and easy video. Kept finding 10min vids and I just wanted a simple short one

So far so good, went for a 5 miler and all good. Lacing did try and loosen, but sorted that.
But it made my feet feel really secure, the lacing locked them in place.

I've heard of the runner's knot but never saw anybody demonstrate. Nice.

It definitely helps, also from also from getting your shoes untied.
However it's no guarantee as a lot has to do with the type of shoe, terrain, conditions and distance.
Just a few weeks ago I did a 27+ mile run (unplanned) and 3 of my toes are still paying the price...

So many people don't know about this. My roommate who collects shoes, had no idea until he saw me lace up hiking boots and asked me what I was doing; he now does this lol. Only thing I do different is use a Berluti knot.

This was a timely reminder for me John. I've been experiencing end of toe blisters in my hokas and this is the reason..going in too loose on the tying up. Will try it out. Thanks man

In my experience you just have to get lucky the shape of the heel counter fits your heels, even a normal lace will hold them in place perfectly then
