When shoe stores had salespeople who helped fit your shoes, they'd put a pad under the heel or behind the heel to make the shoes not slip off my feet. This seems to have disappeared, so I will try some of your tips for fitting shoes.
What if the shoes don't have laces its a chelsea boot my front part of feet is properly fit but my heel is still popping out just a little bit . What to do please help .
If you use a sticky pad under the shoe, where the tongue would be, that should keep the foot in place. Sometimes, adding a pad to the sides on the inside of the heel might keep it in place. If it's placed directly behind the heel, it can push the foot forward and lead to shoe fit issues. Also, if it's a new shoe, minor heel slippage normally settles down after wearing it for a week or two. Hopefully that helps!
