@@mattjwatson5089 Can't exactly agree with this. With a bit of EQ, you will get all the cymbals in the snare mic, but the toms will be lost completely. So i'd advise to either do a 1 BD Mic - 1 OH Mic confic rather than BD and Snare
@@mattjwatson5089 I I know that is why I said I should not placed the snare mic at the snare but as an overhead, capturing all other instruments. This also makes for a total of two microphones, but the toms will be captured better.

Call some of the stage techs and have them come layout your cablesin a professional way. Or shit fly me up there and i will do it for mt. Dew and weed and a signed drumhead
